- There's an intriguing question about Voldemort and the prophecy. Lucius Malfoy mentioned to Harry in the Ministry of Magic that the prophecy could only be retrieved by the person it was about. So, why didn't Voldemort just go fetch the prophecy himself, since it was about both him and Harry, instead of sending his followers and Death Eaters? He was an incredibly powerful wizard, and it would have been much easier for him to do it.
The most likely reason is that Voldemort didn't want to risk exposing himself to the wider world at that time. He was still gaining power and needed to remain in the shadows until he was ready to strike. So, if you were a powerful dark wizard, would you have taken the risk to retrieve the prophecy yourself, or would you have done the same as Voldemort? Let us know in the comments!

In the books it said Voldemort can’t just walk into the ministry and also I thin it said something about people ready to attack. Even tho he was a very powerful wizard he wouldn’t want to risk being exposed.
I mean.. Bellatrix was the only person who really had a chance, but Malfoy ended up getting all bigwig and taking over - id send then with strict instructions 👀 tbh knowing I'd be surprised at how skilled the kids were and pretty much panic and do what Voldy did..
Isn't he really talented with his magic, why didn't he use any sort of concealing magic to sneak in and steal the prophecy?
What's the use of having minions, if you have to do the work?
