I felt so bad because I quickly judged Ominis as soon as I knew who he was descended from & that he was in Slytherin. I thought he was going to be a side villain eventually, but then, going through his, & Sebastian’s story, it becomes clear very quickly that Ominis is the most clear headed, reasonable & kind person in that school. Not even wanting to cast a temporary curse to escape a horrible death. He is such a kind soul and he turned out to be my favorite character in the game, with Natty right behind him. I feel like he was only in Slytherin for one of two, or both reasons… 1. He was a direct descendent of the Slytherin founder 2. Sebastian, his childhood friend was in there. I literally played the game as a Slytherin, thinking I was going to make my character be bad, but the more I hung out with Ominis and Natty, I didn’t want to do anything bad around them 😂 so my characters story is so inconsistent, and I really only made him “bad” when he’s asking for more money, viciously k*lling poachers, goblins or Rookwood’s followers with unforgivable curses, and learning the unforgivable curses themselves.. other than that, he’s a goodie goodie with the occasional attitude
The unforgivable curses are Unforgivable because you need to have full intent behind them too work. if you don't, it won't work or be significantly weaker. because of this, the wizards KNOW you ment to use those spells.
I was assigned House Slytherin, but I felt that I'm more of a Ravenclaw. As I played through Ominis and Sebastian's storyline, I realized that I probably did belong in slytherin as I lied to Ominis with no remorse and gladly helped Sebastian.
I started as Ravenclaw so my first encounter with Ominis was as he sees me comming out of the crypta. He was so dismissive and rude I really dont liked him. But after I get to know more about him, I really kinda fell in love with him and his personallity. He is now my favorite character and lead me to start a 2nd run as slytherin 😅
Ominis was born blind, he tells you that in the game (or Sebastian did). He is probably my favorite character in the game - the most sane and kind hearted characters.
I really like Ominis. It's hard to choose, but he might just be my favorite character in Hogwarts Legacy. Hard to believe someone so sweet and kind could come from such a horribly cruel family. Sabastian tells you that Ominis was born blind and that no magic was able to cure his blindness. Probably a side effect of all the inbreeding.
Cool video, but two things.... 1. Ominis himself said that he was born blind 2. Marvollo beeing the grandfather of Tom Riddel could mean two things. a) He was the son of Ominis aunt / Ominis cousin or b) the brother he mentioned practicing the cruciatus curse on Ominis
I was thinking the same. We know Tom Ridddle will be born roughly 30 years from when the game is set, so that means, Marvolo has to be around as his daughter has to be born soon if she isn't already. So he is either Ominis's cousin, or one of the older brothers who used the torture curse on him.
@@Lupinemancer87 The game is set in 1890, so 36 years until Toms birth. Ominis is 15 his older brother left school meaning he (Marvollo) would be mid 50 when Tom is born.... very fitting
I'm guessing either you haven't played the game or just didn't catch it but Ominis wasn't made blind by his family, he was born that way. Sebastian clearly tells your character that and that no magic spell could make him see.
Glad you said it, I'm on my second playthrough as a Slytherin and caught that too. Hoping commenting bumps this fact so the creator sees it. I don't recall catching it on my first play as a Ravenclaw, but I could've missed it, so perhaps it's only told in the common room when one joins Slytherin.
@@avoidant560 lol actually true. Someone has taken a pic of him sitting reading a book and it wasn't braille as he was holding it with both hands. He just seems more real than some of the other students. He’s one of the few who doesn’t immediately like you and for good reason since you’re sneaking out of his sacred place. He’s got a really tragic background but he’s also wiser than most. And he’s extremely loyal to his friends.
@@victoriaanne6332 Depends on your start though. If you are playing as a Slytherin, you meet him in the common room, and it's sort of a nice interaction. Makes the sting of him being mad at you worse in that case.
@victoriaanne6332 I don't think he was mad at the MC so much as he was mad at Sebastian for going behind his back. By the tone in his voice it felt like he knew the MC was trying to be genuine but he just doesn't trust them yet. I agree though it was one of my favorite friendships in the game. I hope we see more in the sequel.
Kinda weird that the Scriptorium had more layers of security than the Chamber of Secrets. How the heck would a Gaunt know that they had to bring someone with them to gain full access? Especially if the whole point is to keep these areas secret?
Like the chamber of secrets, the knowledge of the scriptorium's whereabouts and how to open it might have been passed from Salazar Slytherin to the most recent descendent of the family line(ominis for the scriptorium, the chamber of secrets for Voldemort).
I dunno what it says about me that I assumed theyd be performing the spell on their house elf or something >.> not hard to keep a secret if you torture a being who literally cant speak about it if you tell them not to
@@Stephanie-uk8be Honestly, that was my first thoughts too. Wouldn't be surprised if the measures were put in place with expectations you have someone you can torture with you 24/7.
Correction: Ominis was born blind and nothing can reverse that. Also it's not that Ominis cut ties with his family but the other way around because Ominis also used dark magic possibly Crucio on them as a retaliation after his family used it on him first.
I was so surprised with Ominus. At first, I was like “oh great. Here’s a pureblood, pompous little wizard.” I ended up really liking Ominus, and really feeling for that kid.
Me too. From ugh gross, hes going to be such a pain to being one of my favourites. They did him so well too, his blindness being programmed in with thought and care it's really accurate, from his posturing during dialogue to the way he moves around and always hears you way before any another student realizes you walking up. So good ❤
I love how you made us apart of the story when talking about ominous escaping the same fate as his aunt by his friends performing the crucxio curse. Made me feel like part of history. Pretty cool
I really liked Ominis, he and Sabastian were my favorite characters in Hogwarts Legacy. And I'm curious to learn more about his family, consindering the game is set in 1890/91, and a certain Dark Lord, is born in 1926 which is 36/35 years from the time the game takes place. This makes we wonder, one of the older brothers that Ominis mentioned might be Marvolo. I would love to find out.
This should be mentioned that since Ominis now exists in the lore of the Wizardry World and he has cut tides from his family unless we include when they personally changed their family name in some point in their lives theirs in the UK there’s still chances actual descendants from Slytherin should still exist, like technically in the US Slytherin descendants still exist there so it’s not like it’s impossible too add a few more back in the UK and it should be mentioned Voldemort only killed his direct family members not his branch family (as back when the books were written they never existed and since then a lot of the information from the books got recon since then so it wouldn’t be a big deal if it does get know he didn’t kill all of his family members) except for his Uncle so branch family members could still exist but kept on the down low possibly start from Ominis side of the family (Though this is only speculation not fact)
Oh, I agree Ominis was a great character, and I can see him later leaving England because of his family, mainly telling them about his aunt, and I see them laughing as it seems the rest of Ominis family are pricks. So I can see him leaving his family and never would want to see them again.
@@BastiatC that’s precisely why I said “chance” knowing full well we need confirmation of his later life, did he have children, and how did he die or is even still alive even now 🤔🤔🤔🤔 (since he’s a wizard he has the chance to be able to still be alive 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️)
I find this very weird that no one ever seems to point this out pretty much all of the main characters of Harry Potter are all related Voldemort Harry the weasleys in a bunch of others are all related so it's basically one giant family issue mainly because it all ties back to the three brothers
You say at 7:20 that Morfin is the “last of the house of Gaunt lineage.” If I of course agree that he was the last to bear their family name, the blood lineage is pursued by Tom Riddle who does speak parseltongue and who is the heir of Slytherin and by his daughter, Delphini, who was also able to speak parseltongue and who was the last of Slytherin’s heirs to live. Isn’t she, in some way, the last of the “Gaunt house lineage”, even though she did not carry their family name? BTW, I LOVE OMINIS ❤
Video idea for you to do: What additional effects do spells have that are not seen in the movies? For instance, what else can the patronus charm do besides ward off dementors?
There is actually a spell in the fourth HP book, Harry uses that lets the wand navigate you. He used it to navigate the labyrinth in the goblet of fire. His wand would start glowing a little and the wand would point north. The spell is literally called „point me“. So Ominous wand might do a variation of that spell autonomously, which is also not uncommon for wands. Especially with a phoenix core. Phoenixcore wands are the most loyal and have been found to perform magic on their own.
I'd love to know more about what happened to Ominis once he left Hogwarts, and I'm hoping the next chapter of Hogwarts Legacy will cover that. From what I've heard from others, Marvolo could actually be Ominis' brother as it fits the timeline.
I think Ominis was worried about more than the MC and Sebastian's light hearted romp through Salizar's secret rooms. He may have been rightfully frightened that they somehow might open the Chamber of Secrets and cause a lot of death at Hogwarts.
old pure blood families like the Gaunt family and the Black family tend to use Unforgivable Curses as methods of discipline... Sirius suffered Cruciatus Curse from his mother, Walburga, and his cousin, Bellatrix, a couple of times as a child
I hated Ominis in the beginning of the game because of his conceited attitude around the hallways but then I really dug to his complex character. He’s a well written character imo.
I think due to the Gaunts procreating with their own relatives, it might have caused Ominis blindness, just like Morfin had exotropia, a form of strabismus in his eyes, something also possibly caused as a birth defect due to inbreeding
How can you be sure that the Gaunts are all dead? Let's say that there is a girl at Hogwarts named Heather Gaunt who was born in 2005. Now, she does not speak Parseltongue, nor does she follow the beliefs of the other Gaunts, but her name is let's say Heather Agnes Gaunt. Does she count as a member of the Gaunt family? Maybe Albus and Scorpius go to school with her but they don't realize it, or maybe they do realize her surname is Gaunt and just don't care as she had no importance at all. Do they really have to have all those traits to be a member of the House of Gaunt, or can they just have the Gaunt surname? Would you consider the hypothetical Heather Gaunt to be a member of the House of Gaunt, or is she just a girl who happens to share some genetic DNA and a surname with some of the better members of the Gaunt house? Hey, if CC was able to give Voldemort a daughter, maybe 2005 saw the brith of a kind hearted girl with the surname Gaunt who marries a miggle man and has a family.
Gormlaith didn't understand the meaning of "subtle". Imperio' ing her sister and brother-in-law into turning away from muggles would have been way easier. Plus they could pop out more pure blood kin of gaunts for future cousin marriages to offical gaunts. Plus William Sayre as a direct descendant of Morrigan seems to have passed on prophetic dreams because Isolt had a prophetic dream ...something no Gaunts ever had.
Just want to clarify, so the ring of marvolo gaunt was a horcrux but the resurrection stone itself was not a horcrux, so the horcrux part was just the metallic band?
That’s actually a good point, I could be mistaken but I’m pretty sure it’s never stated whether the ring itself is the horcrux or the whole piece including the resurrection stone, so if it’s the whole piece that potentially Voldemort isn’t dead because the resurrection stone wasn’t destroyed but lost in the dark forest
The ring itself is the horcrux because you have to put a piece of your soul in an item. The resurrection stone is just sat in the ring and a deathly hallow so it has nothing to do with the horcrux. Only that it sits in the ring, until dumbledore gets it and puts it in harry's snitch for him to find. Remember for a horcrux to work you have to murder someone and that fractures a piece of your soul. That piece of your soul then has to be put in some sort of item: Ring, necklace, even a living being i.e. Harry or nagini. Having multiple horcruxes allows you to come back to life multiple times because you have backup pieces of your soul to use to make another body whenever you like. Why Voldemort was so powerful. Would love to see though, a horcrux being made and the effects of the sould being transferred to an item. Would be cool to see. Great question!!😁
@@TherealFroyoz I ask, because the Harry Potter wiki, says that the the ring is the only item that is both a Hallow and a Horcrux....but if the Horcrux part was strictly the metal band, then the Resurrection Stone was not a part of the Horcrux, but literally just a part that was physically stuck onto it.
This was uploaded on my Birthday thanks for covering this topic because the Gaunt family is one of the familys in the Harry Potter series that always interest me
I believed ominis is blind because the gaunt family were well known for being incest. This could have caused his blindness as i believe he was born blind
They descend from pevrils where hollows origins are based from or that's what the book states as they had the resurrection stone so would have inherited it like Harry and his cloak
Where do people come up with these theories that the cruciatus curse is the reason for Ominis being blind? Sebastian literally tells you he was born blind
Morfin did not die in squalor (well, not in the Shack). He died in Azkaban after Voldemort framed him for the murders of the Riddle family. Dumbledore uncovered the truth, but Morfin died before the Ministry could make a decision on the matter.
I wonder since all the gaunts knew about the chamber of secrets did ominis knew about it not to mention back in the scriptoruim there was a letter from salazar slytherin saying that the creature is in deep sleep in the chamber waiting for his true heir to open the chamber if ominis knew about the scriptoruim i bet he knew about the chamber of secrets but ofc i don't think they will explore cos since in sequel since it will ruin the of story of harry potter but i really liked the idea of the player helping ominis like the quest name would be like this IN THE SHADOW OF THE CHAMBER
Dumbledore was at hogwarts at 1892... And Ominis started in 1886... Hogwarts is 7 years... meaning 1893... So Dumbledore should have known Ominis. I am wondering... Could Ominis have abandoned his Gaunt name after year 5? Not wanting anymore of Salazar Slytherin. Serious... if Fantastic Beasts has another movie... Let Ominis meet Dumbledore, even if it is only a scene of 30 seconds.
As with so many dynasties that encouraged intermarriage to keep their lines pure, the Gaunts condemned their line to ultimate downfall extinction because of inbreeding.
Its still confusing why she did crusio herself casue i dont know if the crusio door would be there when slytherin used it or after he left the school but if there before how he get in it imperio a student use crusio at the door imperio student again an send them on there way out the back door
Realistically, if the house of gaunt had the resurrection stone for that many generations, and it brings back all of your crazy fanatical, pure blood relatives No wonder why they were all nuts.
i wonder if you can cast the cruciatus curse on yourself, i get that it's hard to really mean your own torture but i think you can build up the resolve in a life or death situation.. or maybe it's as simple as the wand movement being impossible to do while pointing it at yourself
Ominis was absolutely great! He's my boi. Everytime the next part of the quest came up I was excited for Ominis but also annoyed because I knew Sebastian would be there. 😒
Does anyone else think it's weird how they are so connected to Salazar Slytherin even though he lived 1000 years ago? They would have millions upon millions of direct ancestors since that time and Slytherin would have that many more direct descendants, so why is this ONE family the only one that seems to be related to him and why are they the only ones speaking parslemoth? The whole pure blood wizard community AT LEAST would be related to every house founder who had children by now, even Harry Potter and Ron Weasley! 04:18 Ominis was born blind. At least this is what Sebastian says and he is his oldest friend, who knows many dark details about Ominis and his family.
It's possible but unlikely. And the reason I say that is because Isidora's brother died young while she was always busy with learning ancient magic and then researching how to heal pain. It seems unlikely that she had a child at any point, meaning her bloodline died with her and her father. Although if her parents had any siblings and they had children, it is possible there could be some very distant blood relation between them.
Or one of the keepers. One of the keepers uses ancient magic (those stone guardians are reanimated with ancient magic) and we know one of the other keepers had descendants.

Chronologically I think it’s possible Marvolo Gaunt could’ve potentially been one of Ominis’ older siblings
He was.
I feel like he was only in Slytherin for one of two, or both reasons…
1. He was a direct descendent of the Slytherin founder
Yes, but HPT says it's a rumor that is how Ominis went blind. As in people think or assume the torture was the cause.
Correction: 4:15 Ominis was born blind and no spell was able to cure it, it wasn't the torture
He's working for star wars theory .. it's just so he can spew out content and get richer.. he's the Disney corp of youtubers
Yes, but HPT says it's a rumor that is how Ominis went blind. As in people think or assume the torture was the cause.
@@morning_marie HPT is not a fan, but merely sucking the teet of Rowling's cash cow.
Cool video, but two things....
1. Ominis himself said that he was born blind
2. Marvollo beeing the grandfather of Tom Riddel could mean two things. a) He was the son of Ominis aunt / Ominis cousin or
b) the brother he mentioned practicing the cruciatus curse on Ominis
I was thinking the same. We know Tom Ridddle will be born roughly 30 years from when the game is set, so that means, Marvolo has to be around as his daughter has to be born soon if she isn't already. So he is either Ominis's cousin, or one of the older brothers who used the torture curse on him.
@@Lupinemancer87 The game is set in 1890, so 36 years until Toms birth. Ominis is 15 his older brother left school meaning he (Marvollo) would be mid 50 when Tom is born.... very fitting
Marvollo is Ominis’s older brother, &Voldey’s grandpapy.
Incest disorder
Sebastian said Ominis was born blind. I don’t thin Ominis himself said it?
I'm guessing either you haven't played the game or just didn't catch it but Ominis wasn't made blind by his family, he was born that way. Sebastian clearly tells your character that and that no magic spell could make him see.
Glad you said it, I'm on my second playthrough as a Slytherin and caught that too. Hoping commenting bumps this fact so the creator sees it. I don't recall catching it on my first play as a Ravenclaw, but I could've missed it, so perhaps it's only told in the common room when one joins Slytherin.
@@BellaRigelOrion pretty sure I heard it as ravenclaw I can't remember explicitly but I knew it for some reason too
Both sebastian and ominis talk about it. I came to the conclusion he was born blind due to "keeping the bloodline pure"...
Ominis is blind, but he can see.
@@avoidant560 lol actually true. Someone has taken a pic of him sitting reading a book and it wasn't braille as he was holding it with both hands. I also noticed him coming out of Sharps potions class not only walking and talking but also looking around and not a wand in sight lol. Pulling a fast one for benefit fraud it looks like lol
Ominis is definitely a great introduction to the family, He is so charming and also intriguing.
Ominis is definitely one of my fav characters from the game. I can't really pinpoint why, but he just is lol
He's just a nice character for some reason. Despite being a bit of a snob, he's so likable.
Probably because unlike his messed-up family, he doesn't torture muggles for sport.
The chamber of secrets has a basilisk that's more then enough security
I dunno what it says about me that I assumed theyd be performing the spell on their house elf or something >.> not hard to keep a secret if you torture a being who literally cant speak about it if you tell them not to
@@Stephanie-uk8be Honestly, that was my first thoughts too. Wouldn't be surprised if the measures were put in place with expectations you have someone you can torture with you 24/7.
Ominis says before they enter, that the entrance itself has something to do with “Two’s”. so, perhaps that was the clue to what awaits inside.
Correction: Ominis was born blind and nothing can reverse that. Also it's not that Ominis cut ties with his family but the other way around because Ominis also used dark magic possibly Crucio on them as a retaliation after his family used it on him first.
Yes, but HPT says it's a rumor that is how Ominis went blind. As in people think or assume the torture was the cause.
I was so surprised with Ominus. At first, I was like “oh great. Here’s a pureblood, pompous little wizard.”
I ended up really liking Ominus, and really feeling for that kid.
Me too.
From ugh gross, hes going to be such a pain to being one of my favourites.
They did him so well too, his blindness being programmed in with thought and care it's really accurate, from his posturing during dialogue to the way he moves around and always hears you way before any another student realizes you walking up. So good ❤
Likewise. When I realized he was related to Riddle I was thinking. "How nasty is this one?" In the end I was viewing him as a top guy.
Same 🥺
Pureblood is not rare.
But pure magicians blood + pure family blood is rare. Incest happen there
I love how you made us apart of the story when talking about ominous escaping the same fate as his aunt by his friends performing the crucxio curse.
I came to the same conclusion! Also Ominis was born blind and we know that Voldemort’s mother Merope was crossed-eyes. Definitely a nice Easter egg
This should be mentioned that since Ominis now exists in the lore of the Wizardry World and he has cut tides from his family unless we include when they personally changed their family name in some point in their lives theirs in the UK there’s still chances actual descendants from Slytherin should still exist, like technically in the US Slytherin descendants still exist there so it’s not like it’s impossible too add a few more back in the UK and it should be mentioned Voldemort only killed his direct family members not his branch family (as back when the books were written they never existed and since then a lot of the information from the books got recon since then so it wouldn’t be a big deal if it does get know he didn’t kill all of his family members) except for his Uncle so branch family members could still exist but kept on the down low possibly start from Ominis side of the family
(Though this is only speculation not fact)
Oh, I agree Ominis was a great character, and I can see him later leaving England because of his family, mainly telling them about his aunt, and I see them laughing as it seems the rest of Ominis family are pricks. So I can see him leaving his family and never would want to see them again.
This assumes he had kids.
@@BastiatC That's true, we don't know at this time, but I'd like to think he did.
Hogwarts legacy is not canon though
Video idea for you to do:
What additional effects do spells have that are not seen in the movies? For instance, what else can the patronus charm do besides ward off dementors?
Ominus is so kond i wonder what happened to him and Sebastian clearly they need to explore these characters more
Imagine making your life's purpose making sure that nobody discovers a room in the school you used to go and don't even own.
Strange amount of Irish names in the Gaunt family. It gives credence to the idea that Slytherin was born in Ireland.
I think Ominis was worried about more than the MC and Sebastian's light hearted romp through Salizar's secret rooms. He may have been rightfully frightened that they somehow might open the Chamber of Secrets and cause a lot of death at Hogwarts.
How could the family use cruciatus so freely without every member of the family being sent to Azkaban?
old pure blood families like the Gaunt family and the Black family tend to use Unforgivable Curses as methods of discipline... Sirius suffered Cruciatus Curse from his mother, Walburga, and his cousin, Bellatrix, a couple of times as a child
I hated Ominis in the beginning of the game because of his conceited attitude around the hallways but then I really dug to his complex character. He’s a well written character imo.
"To keep their bloodline pure, some members of House Gaunt would marry cousins."
Wizard Habsburgs. Got it.
That’s true😂. Like the Habsburg family, their family tree’s a wreath.
Wizard Targaryens lol
The Greek dynasty that Cleopatra was born into had sibling marriages. Her family tumbleweed makes the Habsburg one look normal.
I think due to the Gaunts procreating with their own relatives, it might have caused Ominis blindness, just like Morfin had exotropia, a form of strabismus in his eyes, something also possibly caused as a birth defect due to inbreeding
Yes, who knows what genetic defects were passed through the Gaunts through too much inbreeding.
1 thing always bugged me, I someone was alone in the Crucio chamber, why didn't they just cast serpensortia and crutio the snake? 🐍
Love that you were able to weave some HL lore into this video!
Wow... sound like such a nice family.
What do you call a young Gaunt?
A GAUNTLET! *cancels himself*

100% thought we were gonna torture the blind kid 😂
The Gaunt family tree is more of a family stump.
wasn't the girl who founded illvermory(sorry if there is a mistake) gaunt too?
Morfin spent the rest of his life bemoaning the loss of the ring. If only he knew it eventually came back to the Gaunt Shack once it became a Horcrux.
I believed ominis is blind because the gaunt family were well known for being incest. This could have caused his blindness as i believe he was born blind
Poor Ominius Gaunt
They descend from pevrils where hollows origins are based from or that's what the book states as they had the resurrection stone so would have inherited it like Harry and his cloak
Noctua Gaunt? Oh god... Hawktuah Gaunt
Where do people come up with these theories that the cruciatus curse is the reason for Ominis being blind? Sebastian literally tells you he was born blind
you should do a theory where Molly probably give harry and her daughter ginny love potions.
I’m guessing, Voldemort would’ve found Slitherin’s scriptorium and entered it.
you forgot Leland Gaunt from Stephen Kings Needful things, to which the gaunt family name was taken from
Cool.
More lore coming in!
Love it!
Morfin did not die in squalor (well, not in the Shack). He died in Azkaban after Voldemort framed him for the murders of the Riddle family. Dumbledore uncovered the truth, but Morfin died before the Ministry could make a decision on the matter.
Where does he find this information? Is it all found in the books and on pottermore?
What happened to Sayre the creator of ilvermony? Is she the last member of Salazars Bloodline?
Ominis is Voldemort’s great uncle, which is mad
I wonder since all the gaunts knew about the chamber of secrets did ominis knew about it not to mention back in the scriptoruim there was a letter from salazar slytherin saying that the creature is in deep sleep in the chamber waiting for his true heir to open the chamber if ominis knew about the scriptoruim i bet he knew about the chamber of secrets but ofc i don't think they will explore cos since in sequel since it will ruin the of story of harry potter but i really liked the idea of the player helping ominis like the quest name would be like this IN THE SHADOW OF THE CHAMBER
Ominis my boy :')
Gaunt family is the Hamburg's Dynasty.
Which is the darkest Family
Muggle world Habsburg: Finally a worthy opponent. Our battle of incesous will be legendary.
i wonder if you can cast the cruciatus curse on yourself, i get that it's hard to really mean your own torture but i think you can build up the resolve in a life or death situation..
or maybe it's as simple as the wand movement being impossible to do while pointing it at yourself
more Ominis facts please!!!
Poor Ominis!!!
It's literally like me acting like I'm so high and mighty because I'm descended from William the Conqueror when literally everyone else in Europe is too!
inbreeding
@@DonnieMouse I mean I guess they all must be, if there are only 28 pure blood families who have been breeding together for at least a thousand years, LONGER since it was already a big deal with Slytherin was alive, they must be so beyond inbred it's surprising anyone of them can survive to adulthood!

Question. Is the main character from hogwarts legacy a descendant of isidora morganarch since their powers are very similar?
It's possible but unlikely. And the reason I say that is because Isidora's brother died young while she was always busy with learning ancient magic and then researching how to heal pain. It seems unlikely that she had a child at any point, meaning her bloodline died with her and her father. Although if her parents had any siblings and they had children, it is possible there could be some very distant blood relation between them.
Or one of the keepers. One of the keepers uses ancient magic (those stone guardians are reanimated with ancient magic) and we know one of the other keepers had descendants.
