I went on a cruise with Carnival. This one looks so much bigger and much nicer. I would love to go on a cruise with this ship. Im definitely, going to look into it.
The MSC is definitely a different experience but if you can score a deal with them, we highly recommend it. The cheapest cruise we booked with MSC was an ocean view room for 4 people and 8 nights for a grand total of $950 including taxes and port charges

We came home Sunday from our MERAVIGLIA cruise. Beautiful ship, but what I didn’t like about it was there wasn’t a dance club like the awesome club that was on the MSC SEASHORE. I love MSC’S Ocean Cay. . Do you know if we’d be able to be docked at Ocean Cay for 2-3 days ? Such a beautiful clean island with beautiful beaches.. I’m really not a fan of the Port Canaveral stop, so we stayed on the boat.. Food in the buffet and dining rooms were delicious.
Thank you and glad you also enjoyed your cruise on MSC Meraviglia. We have never seen a cruise that ports at a private island for more than a day. We miss that ship and can’t wait to do another one on MSC soon

We took this cruise in August. The ship was 100% fully booked. We just try to be in places that are quiet and avoid places on the ship that gets crowded at certain times. For example we made a lot of the ship tour videos when the ship docks so we are not bothering people with our camera. But because the ship is huge, you can always find a quiet nook. Hope this helps.

Does it cost extra for the aqua park? Will be going with 30+ family members this summer, including my kids who will be nearly 7, 4 and 1. Hoping the kids will be entertained but hoping to spend minimally on extra entertainment and excursions.
No, it doesn’t cost extra for the Aqua Park. And yes the ship has a number of kid friendly venues :) Bon Voyage 🛳️

Hope you found the video helpful. As for purchasing in advance, yes, but all depends on your choices e.g, you specialty dining offers (5 specialty dining for a discounted price), WiFi packages etc. then once you are onboard, you can book shows, activities and events directly but we recommend to do this on day 1 like booking bowling, F1 racing, flight simulators etc. we noticed that most people were looking for bowling but all time time slots were booked.

Hi, I’m sailing on the MERAVIGLIA in Aurea on June 30th out of Bklyn.. I’ve been told by the MSC agent that I would have to register a credit card when I get on the ship, not before. Yesterday I checked in and they made me register a credit card that I’ll be using on the ship.. Is that all I need to do, or do I also have to register the credit card on the ship? Thank you
If we remember this correctly, there are kiosks where you need to “activate” the room key or card. In short, once you have registered your credit card when you check in and once onboard, activate the room key by heading to the kiosk. We never bought anything on board so we never activated the card onboard
