I can't understand why people rejected this kind of cars to adopt the SUVs.
These cars not only safer, they're classy
Easier to get in, more room, better in snow, better visibility, better for dogs, easier to put things in and out.
To me, it would need to be a station wagon and there aren’t many options in North America
Me neither. A sedan is much more elegant and better to drive than a big wobbly SUV.

In 55 years I have bought many cars, but never a station wagon, and the SUVs from my side might not produce them. Limousines or hatchbacks only. Type A5, A6, A7 or A8.

20 Years ago, Citroen Xantia Activa, 85 km/h without ESC
Km77 recently testet the Xantia again. The results is now max 71 km/h.
@@torbenlienljungbergnielsen5025 Xantia or Xantia Activa? Two different cars. What makes the 85km/h more impressive is that it is the TUV standard moose test which has tighter turns unlike the Km77 moose test which is more spaced out.
@@vs6300 Activa. In fact they tested two and I think it got to 73kph. Even if it's now outmoded, it's still awesome for a 90s car.

@@vs6300the Teknikens Värld moose test was nearly half a metre wider and had more distance between lane changes (at the second lane change). Three are a few other differences, all of which make the ISO 3888-2 standard tougher than the old Teknikens Värld one. If fact, they themselves switched to following the ISO 3888-2 standard in recent years.
Even without comparing the two standards, just applying common sense, it would not make sense for the km77 result to be so much slower if the test was easier.
Peugeot's quality has taken an incredible upturn since the Portuguese CEO took office. It's a different brand now.

superb with 280hp 4x4 and dynamic suspension would behave like that series 3. We dont see the specs here so whats the point of this.
ALL the moose tests should be set to the same ISO 3888-2 standard. This is the standard KM77 follow for their tests. The Passat and Superb would probably not even make it into the top 25 on such a test. The 508 scored a 79km/h result on KM77, if I remember correctly - an excellent result, but not a 1st place result.
Motor 1 tests are too easy and don't appear to really try to simulate the path a car would need to take to swerve around an large obstruction in the road (like a stopped/crashed car).
Mobil 1 vs Km77 test conditions are not same. Dont be a liar. ‼️

The 3 series is the king and no wonder. Who drove BMW knows what i am talking about. If reliability would be the same like a Lexus, everybody else would go out of business and people would only buy BMWs for driving pleasure and Lexus for comfort.
What about tires,
the passat and the skoda were biased (look for other videos where these models are "behaving" this good)

I think something is missing here, in the "real moose test" the cars are fully loaded, meaning max passengers and cargo according to certifications. Fully loaded I'm sure results would have been different. Citroen Xantia seems to be unbeatable.
seems like you saw that crappy video about xantia and moose test. it was done again by some spanish guy and he proved its not true, as Xantia was not loaded fully according to ISO standard for moose test and wasnt speeding more then 71 kmph. find citroen xantia activa 1995 2001 moose test video and see it for youself. It is stupid even to consider old crap car xantia can compete with new cars. you have been pranked. xantia is good until 71 kmph, more than that , it loses control. New cars dont lose control even at 85 kmph thanks to ESC.
@@sagorevach 77km (that "Spanish guy") did not have same model which is irrelevant compere. Latest isn't always greatest.
And you're also not always riding around in sport mode..

is the output speed taken into account? the esp intervention logic is not the same for all. this test could be valid for safety, less for sportsmanship.

The last two, VW Passat and Peugeot 508 are in a different setup.
The only thing peugeot is the master in, suspension no doubt they are the best in the world.But if only they can do the same for reliability in other sections of the car to improve reliability

Лол взяли тачки на разных приводах. Артеон передний, бмв задний, ауди вообще кватро пригнали. Обьективности нет. Также у разных комплектациях разные ассистенты движения могут быть.
