EP 5 Bacheli to chitrakote | Iron ore mine | Jagdalpur, Kosa Silk Chhattisgarh, Chhattisgarh

- Chhattisgarh is a mineral rich state, so we decided to start the day by visiting iron ore mine at Bacheli, Dantewada district.
This particular day's journey was done by us on 11th feb 2022.
After this we went to Maa Danteshwari Temple and saw the confluence of two rivers that are Dankani and Shankani river.
Shri Baba Bhairav Dev Temple - it is located at walking distnace from Maa Danteshwari temple.
Chhattisgarh local food which was about 1 km far from the Maa Danteshwari Temple.
After the food we traveled toward the Kumar Para, Jagdalpur. Here we visited a Bastar Kosa shop and saw a variety of sarees and clothes from Bastar.
We also visited the Jagdalpur street food market, Here we saw many food stalls and people enjoying the street food. The Chhattisgarh Tourism office was also here so we visited the office and gathered some information regarding Chhattisgarh.
Beside the Chhattisgarh Tourism there was a shop named as Tribe India in which we saw many beautiful paintings, statues, even local food items and many more interesting stuffs related to local Chhattisgarh cultures.
Dalpat sagar lake - This is a beautiful lake located in the heart of the city.
At the end of the day we visited a local Tribe Festival and back to our hotel which was in Chitrakote.

Never knew that Chhattisgarh has so many places to visit. The state really need to work on tourism as they have potential to attract all kind of tourists. Thank you Harish sir for all your efforts to take us on great virtual tour.

During my MBA days way back in 2000, we had 3 classmates from Bacheli and also Kirandul. We went there for a visit when our course ended. Your video brought back memories 22 years old. Thankfully, we classmates are all in touch, and i will share this video with the entire group who visited their homes.

Chhattisgarh is rich with minerals.I think state needs more progress after it was carved out from MP in 2000.

I noticed since few months that you prevent street food when you go to a place. Street food is also an integral part of the place and I think you should cover it every place you visit. If you don't want to eat, just taste that food and give to your team. My personal opinion. otherwise I enjoy your videos very much Harish sir.
Now days Street food is not a integral part of local cuisine... it's integral part of huge quantity of butter and cholesterol😢...I think Harish sir has to maintain their fitness so they prefer local cuisine over street food

Kirandul is my hometown, lil disappointed that you did not visit. It's only 10 KM from Bacheli and the iron ore unit is bigger. I wish you could have visited so as to show a better view of iron ore plants. Moreover its more beautiful than Bacheli in terms of landscape. The best time to visit is not July, but its October to January since waterfalls gets opened with clean water and with good stream flow to get thrilled. One thing you pointed very well about the plastic and wastes. I too feel that over the last 10 years the main towns of district are getting more dirty. It was during 1990 to 2005, people who used to visit finds these places as very beautiful.
I was also waiting for the Kirandul part and got disappointed....lived in kdl from 2008 till 2010... awesome memories
