By far the best Jin combo tutorial I've seen. Didn't know you could fit b3 after EWHF with high launchers Btw optimal damage/carry ender for double EWHF pickup would be tornado -> dash in SSL 3-1->zen u1. Gives high wall splat and sends them pretty far, while also doing 84 from ETU
@Zessifml it's not about mastering and only then feeling gratification. I want to play the fighter without struggling everytime of missinputs. In this case the devs made a good job!
They could have done is like this. In T7, we have the throw animation manually as 3+4. If only Namco did was if we press 3+4 after Zen 1, we get the throw animation. If we only press 3, we get the T7 wall carry version. That could have been better.
Cool guide, tho I'd suggest leaving the recommendations text visible for the entire duration of the combo, as sometimes there's long but important notations vanishing before they can be read.
After multiple wall hits you can do b3 slight delay 2 to get 14-15 damage if you're confident in your delay timing then just ff4 for 14 damage 134 does 12 but is the easiest option And iirc b32 can break at 50% for better damage than 1+2 It was b3 at 50% and then a delay timing on 2 and it will connect Edit: 9:03 the way Kazuya flipped back look so goofy lol
I’m struggling to get b3, 1 after the electric on the low parry. Trying to do the electric either as fast or slow as possible but only seem to get the pick up with wind hook fist.
try doing a dash electric or delaying it a little bit or maybe try a side step right before electric, characters have weird hitboxes which might be causing the problem

For those who do combos at 0:26 and 0:34, do you have any tips to get EWGF to connect with B3? It seems inconsistent. When I get WGF, I seem to get the connections every time. Does EWGF give more pushback during juggle, leading to harder connection? Is it angle specific?
3:44 having an impossible time with the follow up after CH f4. After my dash, I can’t seem to hit the b3. Not sure what I’m doing wrong. I can do the combo from before, CH f4 dash into d3 4 3, but not the next.
I couldn’t figure out the exact same problem, but I finally did. After you connect the CH F4, dash up, then when you do B3, you need to very quickly hold forward and buffer the 1 input. B3 into Zenshin enlarges the B3 hit box compared to just the raw B3. That’s what helps scoop them off the ground. I was getting annoyed with the same problem but now get it to work every time.
Yeah, Jin's neutral is much better in T8 but his combo potential is way lower than T7. T7 Jin combos were amazing, not to mention his rage drive combos were sick.
Hello I can’t launch after the “forward 4” counter hit. I try to dash and then press back 3 or electric like u but it doesn’t work. Did they remove launching from counter hit with “forward 4”
I dont know what it is with me every time i try to forward 4 combo into side steps i cannot get the side step and the dash granted my side steps during combos are like the worst i cant never get them rightz
@@ape3823 I don't know how i used such wrong numbers for the time 😂. I was trying to write about the counter forward kick and later the dash, can't seem to reach to use the knee. If i press forward too soon he will get in stance before the dash. But i think i get what you said, because for the other combos when i don't press the direction right after the knee it is 1 frame lower and i wasn't getting that other combo.
@@FhargaZ if you mean the f4 counter hit, if you want to connect the knee make sure you don’t go into stance after you do the forward kick. After you hit the counter hit you can just run up and do the knee, no need to do a quick dash because there is no speed/ strict timing to that combo.
Micro dashes. You can either do 2 microdash EWHF's (easier for me on keyboard), do it on either of them (so either only the first or only the 2nd), or you can even not do them at all if you're quick with EWHF's. Each way I mentioned changes the timing for microdash b3f pickup
On top of the micro dash, Make sure you’re doing b3f1 after the electrics. B3 is 16 frames startup and poor tracking whereas b3f1 is 15 frames startup and better tracking. If you never do that you’ll never connect
He’s not trash, he’s one of the strongest characters in the game. He’s good at everything, his combo damage is very good too it’s not crazy high but he’s hitting you for no less than 70+ with every combo. It’s just not tekken 7 anymore where everyone did stupid damage
It may seem like that to you, but Jin deals damage with his punches, understand this, like Kazuya, he doesn't shoot crystals from below and do laser damage from above. Jin is a completely strong person, don't forget what I wrote, okay, now go ahead, okay.

I miss the old ZEN 1,3 before they tacked that 3+4 animation to it.
Even CNT/CBT zen 1-2 would've been good here since it have decent wallsplat. Tbh I also miss T7 zen 1-2 for its wall combo potential

After trying to land 1:35 for a while I realized the more consistent combo shown before does 72 dmg compared to this one that only does 68

OK I´ve figured it out. You need to press B3->F after EWGF. Apperently it comes out 1 Second faster.

Take a good look at your command history
Im not going to lie even the command history is wrong at times cause i look at it all the time and its the correct inputs but it shows something else
you don't need to sidestep for that, just use a different better combo ender like df3~3 df,1 ...

no secret, just be quick with electrics and try doing it from cd1 first or geyser. it's easier from those 2 launchers
