Thanks Niamh...I was the same until I saw the insane punishment my lad gives his Toyota chaser (supra powered) and his had been on over a year no issues, plus I'm trying everything with this car I've wanted before but never done.
I can see it now Niamh, wheels on the BMW sticking out 3 inches and cambered out like a crazy person. Big wing on the back...lol

The wheels look great in gloss black, I’m thinking of doing the same on my red one. Do you get a noticeable improvement with the slightly wider fronts?
In not sure if it's just me rather than an actual improvement but it seems to feel a little more sure footed of that makes sense lol..there certainly isn't a detrimental effect that's for sure...if fitted wider wheels to a car before and the handling has gone all weird but it's fine on the MR2 :)

I've done the same with my MR2. FL rears on the rear, PFL rears on the front. Loving the amount of extra grip

I always put spacers on the VW but kinda chickened out. That and the fact that decent hub centric spacers cost a fortune! Are MR2's very common over there? I don't see many of them here at all. I've always wondered why, they seem to be great cars
There aren't that many left now in the UK..about 5700 ish. The MR2 is a great car totally underrated. Everyone, especially the young lads chase power and that wasn't it's design brief.
