Cost is essentially $40/person for the dinner menu and offers both AYCE japanese style BBQ and sushi.

Man, no matter ur review... i just really like the idea of having sushi and also bbq at the same time.. I dont' think Toronto has a lot of places like this... A mix of sushi and bbq... it's usually one or the other... but man having sushi and bbq at the same time sounds so good

@@JoelHansen Yeah man I've had this name for about 25-30 years. Love me some sushi. Those Sashimi slices were no joke! Now I can put away some sushi as well, but this spot i love near me got my ass good during a sushi night where nigiri was $1 per pc, but the person making mine must have been new because the Rice thickness was about an inch or more thick lol. i had about 15 pieces and i was Stuffed. too much rice for me.
Joel you are a Beast . Speaking of Tuna here in Florida we go out of Port Canaveral 100 plus miles Tuna fishing for yellow tail Tuna to me it's the best fish you can eat. It looked like you guys had a good time stay happy healthy and hungry until next time peace out my friend

My favorite sashimi is the "white tuna" which is actually escolar. It's so delicious, depending on where you go,
I suppose. But you all ate a lot! I can barely eat a whole roll! You guys are CHAMPS for putting up with the flavors that you're not used to.

There are pros and cons to you being a competitive eater. Pro, being able to actually get your money’s worth at a buffet ( wish i could eat as much as you sometimes). You always get well worth your money. Which is hard for me being that I don’t eat a lot at 5’ 2 and 108 lbs lol. Con, your after challenge poops or stomach pains lol that part I’ll let you keep! 🤣

That is a loooot of sushi my friend. Have you ever gotten sick from sushi, especially when eating so much and the variety you have chosen? The restaurant looked very nice. I can imagine the look on the faces of the workers when you walk in😳😢haha. Now I wish I'd get the notification on time. I hate being late to the party. Another great one Joel.
I once got sick in Montreal I don't remember if it was before or after the sushi I had. But it tasted horrible
You should check out Kingsway Sushi or Richmond sushi if you're still in town.

Shabusen is awesome but it is All-You-Can-Eat: Japanese Sushi & Korean Barbecue. Still jealous I moved closer to the Okanagan and there aren't any good Shabusen replacements. Thanks for sharing and making me hungry grrrrr......

Hey if you're ever in the Seattle area, there's a tiny whole on the wall AYCE Sushi bar called Sushi Ring. It's just north of Seattle in Everett, WA and excellent sushi.

😳 OMG bro!!! This is what I was talking about...those sashimi pieces were Salmon & Hamachi (Yellowtail)! I just mentioned to you last week that u need to eat Yellowtail Tuna. It’s the best (cheap) FISH...of course nothing beats Toro but, it cost $30 for just 2 pieces 🍣 here in Vegas

JOEL- Next time you are on the West Coast for $41 you can have the DELUXE All-You-can-eat dinner at "Richmond Sushi" not too far from the airport they have 13 types of SASHIMI to order, it's insane!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LOTS of variety in rolls as well, too many to even sample (14 different rolls) and 7 types of BBQ food all types of deep fried stuff too!!!!

My favorite is salmon skin hand rolls
The food looked really good. For an all you can eat place, they were nice and generous w/ the fish. When I visited Vancouver, I had some of the best Japanese food ever. The people were really friendly too. The only thing I didn't like was seeing so many people sleeping on the lawns.

Joel just an fyi there is nothing traditional about this place. Owners/staff/chefs no one is japanese, the menu although serving sushi/sashimi couldnt be less japanese. It's more a Korean north american sushi hut.

There are no ayce sushi places near me... I’m sure the lack of variety is how they keep costs lower... they can buy in bulk and the amount of prep is a lot less with the simpler rolls... if u want a lot of sushi fast... there needs to be some compromise... understand you were just giving honest review and not being unfair... 😊

Wind had better taste and variety imo, but not as good portions and is a more north Americanized
