I think when we are talking about dragons things like agility and their connection with the rider should be kept in mind. This rating is based on their size. Caraxes and Daemon's bond need to be kept in mind. I don't think any dragon would protect its rider as Caraxes does.

I may be wrong, but if not, the only time Aegon cried like a baby was when Sunfyre (which he used even as his sigil) died. He had lost two sons and a wife by that time, but could not handle the death of his dragon. And Sunfyre spent every single energy it could to defend Aegon till the end. Daemon's connection with Caraxes is strong, because their personality match, but not as mutch as Aegon and Sunfyre.

But I think that it will be unrealistic when she does.

Vhagarcwas also badly injured and Sunfyre was never the same after that fight and Aegon never walked again after that
Killing the Grey Ghost was the impressive kill given that Sunfyre was injured. Moondancer was a baby and Melys was killing Sunfyre before One Eye showed up

This is the weirdest misconception about the series imo... Caraxes didn't kill Vhagar... he was getting overwhelmed and torn apart, one of his wings was ripped off... What killed Vhagar is the fact they were too cowled up around each other and the fall was the thing that killed Vhagar. Caraxes only held on to Vhagar's neck while he was getting demolished. Daemon won over Aemond but Vhagar was winning over Caraxes... Caraxes got on shore and passed away there because he was lighter and survived the impact while Vhagar probably originally survived but drowned as she was too heavy to get out

Vhagar is the largest dragon in the show. She dispatched the young Prince Lucerus, and his young dragon easily enough. But is growing very old. She wasnt much younger than Belerion the Dread, who is long dead from old age. I have no doubt that Vhagar will perform well in the show version of the story. But I think that it will be unrealistic when she does.
That’s because Lucerys didn’t know how to make his dragon fly faster due to being stuck in a storm while trying to get out of the Stormlands otherwise Vhagar wouldn’t have been able to fly fast enough to surprise them not to mention Aemond never had control over Vhagar because he thought he completely controlled her when he didn’t

When Daenerys attacked the Lannister army Drogon looked so huge specially in some shots and posters from that episode but when someone looked at the dragons flying they didn’t look that big. Remember the first time Jon landed on dragon stone and suddenly a dragon (Drogon probably) flew over his head it didn’t even look that big! Actually Drogon should have been much smaller than caraxes as the sizes of the dragons were described.

She was about to kill off Sunfyre and Aegon when vhagar joined in the fight and still she took all three of them tumbling down to the ground, and they both fell on her and ask to severe injuries. Vhagarcwas also badly injured and Sunfyre was never the same after that fight and Aegon never walked again after that

This is the weirdest misconception about the series imo... Caraxes didn't kill Vhagar... he was getting overwhelmed and torn apart, one of his wings was ripped off... What killed Vhagar is the fact they were too cowled up around each other and the fall was the thing that killed Vhagar. Caraxes only held on to Vhagar's neck while he was getting demolished. Daemon won over Aemond but Vhagar was winning over Caraxes... Caraxes got on shore and passed away there because he was lighter and survived the impact while Vhagar probably originally survived but drowned as she was too heavy to get out
