based on their jiu-jitsu ranks you’re correct, malkoun is a black belt & petroski is a brown belt, however malkoun has 0 submission wins in MMA, based on his performances so far i think he’s better at positional control whereas petroski has some submission wins (anaconda/kimura/head & arm) he’s also competed in a few fury grappling events recently but yeah i expect malkoun to wrestle well and probably grapple even better later on in the fight when petroski is tired
she wasn’t exhausted or anything like that but round 3 against rose. 2 judges gave that round to rose, about a minute into the round rose hits her with a clean takedown, but because fiorot is so physically strong she’s able to easily stand back up with a whizzer, there’s a chance that’ll be more difficult against erin tho. i wouldn’t say fiorot has bad cardio, she just throws with nasty intentions every time she throws and it seems that in round 3 the speed of the sidekicks & her boxing has kinda faded. this isn’t necessarily an abnormal thing tho, 99% of fighters aren’t delivering their strikes as cleanly in round 3 compared to round 1, fighting is tiring!
