      Dude you ARE a rockstar. I just subscribed to your channel. This is the best debate I’ve ever seen. Only part I cringed at was Charlie’s insistence that all porn is wrong and it’s an objective moral truth. Not because of his stance but how he approached it. I could tell he was heavily triggered. I agree 💯 with you I was extremely obese I weighed 407 the day I finally got my gastric bypass that my doctors had recommended for more than 10 years because I had tried the whole weight loss diet programs and always ended up gaining it all back plus more and I had diabetes that I was struggling to control and high blood pressure and and a bunch of other medical issues that were definitely going to kill me sooner than later but all the insurance companies I had refused to pay for the surgery until my employer stepped up and said they would check into it and if they couldn’t get the insurance too pay for it they would pay for it and I am very grateful for that because instantly after surgery my diabetes disappeared and I went off all the meds for it the next day btw in a lot of other countries they do the surgery just too get rid of the diabetes you don’t need to be overweight and they don’t know why it goes away but it does in over 90% of the patients and if they reverse the bypass it comes back. the point I’m trying too make is that before I could have the surgery that would save me from medical issues that were definitely going to kill me I had too see a psychiatrist and these young people who are not even old enough to know what they are and make those kinds of decisions are allowed to have them without having too see a psychiatrist or try any other treatments before having a surgery which data shows doesn’t lower the suicidal rate among the trans community and at most only makes the person feel better about themselves for a few years and then the underlying mental disorder they have causes them to think they need some more surgery or they just realize they made a mistake and they want to transition back and they can’t because they had irreversible surgery

      "and the supporters involved" I think this is where most of the problem lies. It's mainly virtue signalling and the opinions of real members of "the community" rarely have mattered in the last 4 or so years. My conversations with conservatives on the other hand usually start with accusations of "you must feel XXX way about XXX". If that conversation is via social media, they usually aren't going to listen or disengage halfway through. Unfortunately "helpful" people like to shut those conversations down. In person, though, that doesn't happen as much. For the record, I haven't encountered the extreme attitude from trans people I've known. Non-binary people almost without fail, but not from trans people. The reason you're not hearing from most of them is because they don't generally come out to straight people unless they feel they need to.

      Social Media, and the fact that parents refuse to monitor their kids and what they watch, is why this is out of control. You are 100% right. Anime is a so called, "cartoons". They are grooming, confusing, sex-filled, LGBTQ+ promotions, mostly produced in Japan, to mind f*ck kids into thinking that these decisions are the only way to be accepted and make them "happy". Parents have allowed the wrong babysitters, to raise their kids. The sad part of it, is the parents who are sitting on their phones all day as well, are also being indoctrinated, seeing the fame these parents are receiving for having a "trans" or "LQBTQ+" child. So they push them along. Indoctrination is at an all time high in elementary through college and beyond. What did everyone expect to happen?

      Mmmm that is an interesting statement. On some level I agree with you, he is a biological woman, but at the same time, he has testosterone in him (hormone which increases sexual arousal), so, not exactly just a biological woman. I would argue that this testosterone makes a difference on how he views porn. On the other hand, he has a really positive experience towards pornography, in hard moments of his life it made him feel beautiful and desired. I would also state that there are different kinds of porn, some more damaging and addictive than others. There are different levels of "deepness" as is argued. My guess is; the porn he made wasn't really hardcore and stayed on the surface of what could be considered "normal", not decaying into abuses or really weird non-consensual shit. Therefore, yes, he is ceirtanly a "she" with a really complex experience and life story which brings into this conversation a whole bunch of nuanced points hahahah

    • @TradingWithoutFear
      @TradingWithoutFear 28 дней назад

      @@Chris-ks9ri Despite Buck Angel being a biological female, the lack of addiction to pornography after transitioning to male isn't necessarily due to testosterone's role in sexual arousal. Research indicates that testosterone alone doesn't directly increase sexual addiction. The key difference lies in the biological wiring of the brain. Studies have shown that men and women have distinct neural responses and wiring.
      Addiction to Pornography: Men are more prone to developing addictive behaviors toward pornography due to the way their brains respond to dopamine, a neurotransmitter associated with pleasure and motivation. This response creates a feedback loop, where men seek increasingly novel or extreme content to maintain the same level of arousal and pleasure, leading to compulsive use and addiction. Research indicates that men show brain activity patterns similar to drug addiction when viewing pornography, with heightened responses in brain areas associated with reward and motivation.
      Conversely, women are generally less likely to develop an addiction to pornography and are more prone to addiction to social media. This difference is partly because social media platforms provide the social validation and attention that many women seek, which is not typically offered by the pornography industry.
      Social Media Addiction: Women tend to seek connection and social validation, which can lead to higher rates of social media addiction. Studies suggest that women are more likely than men to become addicted to social media due to their desire for social interaction and validation, which these platforms readily provide.

      Yet they do not ever submit to losing an intellectual debate, they just dishonestly withdraw further into their enormous cache of weaponized strawmen and ad hominem attacks while targeting vulnerable minority groups, instead of looking to theirselves and their own shortcomings to resolve before they try to work on everyone else in society. And that ammo gets even crazier and crazier to where they’re attempting to use conspiracy theories to justify easy to see falsehoods. No, it’s the jewish space lasers making kids trans….
      When Christians talk about a moral deterioration, they mean in themselves. We’d all be fine if they’d get their sh it together and stop trying to tell everyone else how to live and be when it doesn’t affect them whatsoever. They’ll throw up a ban on the existence of trans people to avoid having to talk to their kids about what a trans person is if asked.
      I think it’s interesting that Buck has the perspective of support for trans people but that comment about pregnancy I still disagree with; a trans man may have biological woman parts but is a man, so therefore we can socially acceptably continue to call that man a man & accept that a certain subset of men will have the *capacity* for pregnancy;
      … and who is threatened by that concept? What a weak pathetic person would work to sow up ignorant fervor to eventually legislate against and not allow someone they dont even know to make responsible choices for their own health care they decide on, since you know.. freedom and liberty and all that.
      No, we base our laws on our emotional outrage of white people and fox news talking heads let that interpret the world for us, we are just too dumb to make our own choices.
      I agree with Buck it shouldn’t be a “one and done” thing, there should be guidance along the way for people that are interested in going through it, and I would be very curious to see these supposed examples from Kirk or anyone like Dimwit DeSantis of it being “pushed on kids” in school .
      These psychos in FL literally made a law so teachers in Florida can’t even speak the word “Trans” without threat of the state coming down on them. It’s insane and it’s a blatant attempt to write them out of existence. That’s why they are happy to not let any “definitions” be adjusted or altered of words…
      Btw, Charlie’s take on making things like porn illegal is INSANE. LMAO “children are being preyed on every day” - so go ahead and work towards rescuing some. I don’t see you doing anything but stroking your own ego with your name up in big letters while you talk a big talk and walk by sitting on your couch doing NOTHING.
      He just is trying to target a group of people to make them responsible for what Chuck here and the GQP Christians think are the shortcomings of society or some broken pact with God when it’s just them pushing their own inability to not try to force their own lives on others that is the problem. It makes me sick.
      Get your cult garbage out of government, and stay out of people’s heath care decisions! For a group that always whines about free health care would somehow make it worse with govt. involvement, he sure thinks they deserve to oversee reproductive bodily care and take away decision making by forcing outcomes pretty easily. Buck Angel has a good point. I'm a straight female. I was working in the Electronics Department of a store. I described the functions of the equipment to a male customer, answering his questions. He asked if there was anyone else with whom he could speak. My co-worker that day was male. He told the man everything I had said. My heart leaped for joy when my co-worker said, "I don't know why you called me out here. You taught me everything I know." I replied, "I just wanted the customer to be happy." So women are not always trusted for their intellect or abilities.

      It’s free

      No way to filter people under 18 from watching
      All these make it so easy to for adolescents to watch. And the truth is, it’s addictive, and terrible for the brain. At the very least, it should need substantial proof of someone being over 18 to be able to watch it, not just a button that says “must be 18 or older to enter” because I don’t think that has prevented a single person from viewing it.

But even if we switch to the term libertarian, which I'm not sure Charlie has ever claimed to be, why should Charlie's opposition to government intervention in certain cases, such as in the economic sphere, imply that he should be against government intervention in this case? It seems as though Charlie is not simply approaching it from a kind of low resolution heuristic approach of 'government intervention is bad,' but is considering the morality of it in each particular case. In this case, it appears as though he feels that the harm inflicted upon children, who are often not yet able to understand the effects of pornography or restrain themselves properly, justifies the use of state power. Is there something contradictory about this position? You further point out that parents should shield their kids from porn. This would of course be ideal, but clearly this is not what is actually happening. So are we supposed to just have future generations of kids incur the brain and bodily damage from pornography because their parents aren't able or willing to shield them from it and hope that some time down the line the parents step up? If so, where is the morality in this, and what possible justification is there for it?

      @@johnjonestheguy Trust me, I'm very much aware of what conservatism stands for and what libertarian stands for. I happen to be a libertarian conservative myself. The thing about morals, is that not everyone share the same moral positions. The conservative framework should be centered around state rights and small federal government reach. A reach which should stop at national defense, protecting the rights which are in the constitution and bill of rights, and foreign affairs. Porn does not violate anyone's rights. It is up to each family and state to determine which moral values and laws they wish to Abide by. One could make the same argument for many things which we allow in society which can be harmful but still protected under the constitution. There are many cases where children are abused by churches. Should we then trample on the protection of religion by shutting down all churches to make sure no kids are ever abused in one? No of course not. That makes no sense. Iv studied conservative philosophy for a decade. While I understand the temptation to take this path. I think it sets a bad precedent, which opens up a can of worms which will lead to much more control by the federal government. One where the cure is worse than the disease.

      Sadly there's a lot to push back on charlie about a lot of this. I understand his point of view, but he wants to talk objective truth, objectively you can't confirm the existence of God. That's why faith is so important. Not saying I don't think there's amazing teachings in the Bible. I'm agnostic and yet think living in a morally moderate (not super doctrinally conservative or liberal) Christian society is extremely beneficial. But that doesn't mean you can force every to operate under that same truth.
      Also there's a major lack of accountability in Charlie's argument. Sure he can argue what Buck does is wrong, but we live in a free society where we don't live under authoritarian rule. There's so many approaches to limit it's damage...
      Which brings up the drug argument. Not all drugs are bad. I would argue almost all drugs have an applicable purpose. Heroin is used interchangeably with morphine many first world countries. The dosage is different but broken down by your body their both morphine. I think there's an argument to be mad that porn can be good and educational. There's 100% intimate and educational porn out there that would allow people to learn and get safe idea of how to approach sex. As well as Bucks whole argument of empowering a community of people who have an extremely hard time accepting themselves.

Let’s ban alcohol, cigs, fast food, etc all for the greater and moral good. It’ not how it works. If you can’t watch porn without becoming depressed don’t watch it and get help. You have someone sitting out front of you saying their experience with porn is different and you can’t comprehend that because you are only truly coming to the argument from you own perspective and your personal struggle with it. A lot of self work and mental health work went into this decision. As Buck stated this is sorely lacking in today's world. This goes across the board Mental Health Services Has Fallen off since the 90s. The Americans with Disabilities Act help and also hindered a lot of care that was available and is no longer available. You can see this in the opioid crisis and in the so-called transgender movement. This is the time of instant gratification and with instant gratification comes doubts and disappointment. In 23 years of practice I have only ever had two authentic trans patients. Because permanent gender dysphoria is rare among men and extremely rare among women. Their advice and I believe it is good solid advice is to live the customary life of the sex you identify with for at least a decade. Or at least until the age of 23 which at that point all humans are fully fledged adults making no new body tissue only repair and replacing what exists and you’re competent to fully understand a medical transition and its consequences with no regrets and stable mental health. Children deserve the right to the privacy of their own bodies and to completely go through puberty Without interference so that they naturally discover who they are truly. The argument that children need early ““ intervention to make them more phenotypically resemble a sex they currently identify with is contrary to logic as gender dysphoria is a mental condition which must naturally must play itself out to conclusion and over 80+% will return to biological sex prior to adulthood . The result of early interference will mean 25,000 people who permanently will become more phenotypically a different gender BUT of whom only 250 ACTUALLY had permanent gender dysphoria which is EXACTLY what is happening now. Ergo, there are no “trans” children as they have not fully finished puberty and completed full brain development and permanent gender dysphoria cannot be assigned yet. Interference with a physiologically healthy child in this manner is more than abuse, it is an atrocity. As for porn, it will always interfere with authentic intimate relationships whether we want to admit it or not.
