When you said if you make a playlist they stay there forever that is not true! You just tap the option button while in the playlist and then click clear playlist!
Thanks for the Review and letting me know that you are a AGPTEK fan; in a clear voice. For those with the questions...Yes, this plays very well over a professional sound system so, i am sure it will Bluetooth well on a cordless speaker or over the car. MY problem is, the instructions stated it could replay the songs from the folder or, just play them once. But, when I went from one of my (Pre-show) Music Folders to another separate Folder, after playing my single song Intro, it went back and started to play again from the original Music Folder. Although it's easy to Change Folders, I can't seem to figure out how to X out of a music folder entirely :( Quite Frankly, I find it much more difficult and tedious to navigate this unit than I image a Touch-Screen MP3 would be. * I actually use and prefer an old Android phone as an MP3 player but, now that I've already bought this, I wish I could find a RUclips video to show me HOW to use it as instructions are a little confusing, IMO. Either way, very nice job on your review video.
Got this thing for christmas last year. It is awesome! I've added a bunch of music to it. The FM feature is pretty solid, but requires headphones to use it. The FM record function is a little crappy though, but then again, you get what you pay for!
2 questions please answer cuz i wanna buy 😂 1. How would i download music on my windows laptop in general. 2. How would i download it onto the mp3 player INCLUDING the photo of the song??
There are websites that download music videos and convert to mp3 file with the image attached in the tags. To get them onto the player, it’s drag and drop, just like using a usb thumb drive.
Thanks for your review. I bought one specifically because I want to play, not music, but audio podcasts. And darned if I know how to transfer them from my Samsung G10. If you know, can you give me "pointers". Otherwise it just sits on my desk....
Thanks for your review. The issue I have is when I connect it to the computer. There is an execute file which copies stuff to the program folder, but I cant see the app you open to download files to the player. Help please
There is an executable? You should probably run a virus scanner. You might have gotten a unit that was returned with a virus installer put on it. There absolutely isn't any software that goes with this. These should show up as an external hard drive or SD card when you plug it in. It's drag and drop to put files onto the player, just like transferring files to any thumb drive.

This acts as an external hard drive. Plug it in and drag the files to the device. Usually the "Music" folder. I like to sort mine into album sized folders with about 22 files in each. That way I don’t have to worry about making playlists; I just play the folder.
Hello, I am not sure if you will see these questions, but I hope you do. I am interested in purchasing the device, but I have two quick questions. My first question is, if I insert a song, does it automatically get the cover album, album, artist, etc.? or do I have to manually place that in? My second question is, if I do have to manually place it in, how do I place photos for the album covers? Thank you, and thank you for the awesome video. God bless you!
You'll have to add the album art for each file before loading them into the player. I use a program called Tag&Rename but it costs a little money. There are some free tag editors, but I can't think of any of the to of my head. Tag&Rename is awesome, but it's not had any updates in several years.
Hi, thanks for the review, I bought it and I am loving it, however, I cannot get the mp3 album art to display on my screen, how were you able to do that? thanks!
Hey, I got an agptek mp3 player a few months ago, it worked perfectly before, but for some reason when I connect it to my computer now it doesn't show me the option to connect and transfer and so I am now unable to download more music onto it. Sorry, do you know how I can fix this problem? Thanks.
This happens sometimes with all these devices and I’ve never figured it out. Sometimes connecting to a different USB port, sometimes using a different cable, or sometimes using a different computer all together. I don’t think it is the device, more or a how windows detects devices thing.
@@RynoDBones Thanks for the response, I tried using a different computer and a different USB port but nothing seems to work. Although the mp3 player does charge and show the battery symbol it doesn't show the option to 'charge and transfer'.
Hi, I record an entire radio show as an mp3 -- so there's no identifiable gaps for a device to recognise individual songs. Can I simply fast forward and rewind an MP3 that is about 3 hours long?
@@RynoDBones Thanks. It's ironic, I've got a 2004 Classic iPod and that does it, but it only has that analogue output -- no USB and a bit stodgy on the car radio.
Despite playing back your own recorded voice and, thus, testing the *microphone quality*, you never once mentioned what the audio quality was like on playback, and that was the only reason I even came to your video.
It’s a little more punchy on the highs but that can be compensated with one of the preset equalizers. It’s otherwise pretty flat. Sounds decent for the price, but definitely not as good as something with more customization features or a better chipset. Absolutely an entry level player. Play time is about ten hours on Bluetooth and about twelve through line out. Also depends on how long the screen is on and if you use the external speaker. So on average, 10 is probable. This is a decent backup player, or a player for a teen to use in the car to not waste data from their phone. For something better, go with a Fiio.
Hi, when I download music to the player how do I select the music to go to external storage as it goes to internal storage when I have an sd card inserted. Thanks
This might have been the player that needed the microSD to be filled directly from the computer instead of when it is inserted. I know I have one like that....this might be it.
@@RynoDBones Thanks. I have come to that same conclusion as well. I can record into the external card so I know its working. I need to invest now for a card reader so that I can download straight onto the card. Thanks.
@@PajamaPower Most digital music is already in mp3 or similar format with the exception of CDs, which have to be 'ripped' with ripping software. If you're talking analogue like from vinyl or tape it's a different story.

Not really. Too twitchy. More likely to just skip the track than to fast forward.

How about ebooks...easy to download and replay?
If you're willing to read on such a small screen, it does the job. No MOBI format, though.

There is no custom/single frequency equalizer on this. Just some pre-set ones you can access while playing music.
