Thank you for these recipes using sweet potatoes. Here in New Zealand they are called Kumara, and have always been a staple food of the country. It's great to see so many different ways to cook Kumara!
@@kitchenprincessbamboo Kumara is the Maori word for sweet potato. The Maori brought them to New Zealand when they came here before European settlers arrived. Kumara frow very well here, all sorts of varieties too!

I need to see if I can get Japanese sweet potatoes in my local asian market. If not, I will try american. There are a lot of recipes here I need to try. Japan seems to appreciate sweet potatos a lot more than America as a rule. Thank you!
