HazyJanes, I've been following Paolo and you for a couple of years now. I really appreciate all your live concert videos. I listen to Paolo almost every night. I was just wondering what your thinking is about his professional evolution. It seems after his last American tour that his voice was pretty shot. He seems to have adapted his style. He still has beautiful tones and music. Just wondering what you think?
Thank you for following Leslie! I've been following Paolo since 2009 and he really evolved musically. His music cannot be labeled imho. I think each album contains phases of his life, hence the diversity. He is re -inventing himself along the way and I believe he has so much more in store for us. The rawness in his voice is what gives me shivers but also the falsetto, his range is beyond. What do you mean by shot? I translated it but it only gave me the pistol version 😅 Xx
@@HazyJaneswhen we look back to the videos of 2014-2015, for exemple Jools Holand shows, we can really note that his voice has changed, going less scratchy and deeper, and it's for the best (just my tought) it's sure that every album is a surprise and it's why we are loving him since the begening ❤ think he will need a long rest after this summer tour
I see a change in his voice, first he has lost his heavy Scottish accent which made his voice unique. Also years of smoking has caused his voice to deepen. But, it is still beautiful though.
@HazyJanes sorry, I meant that his voice seemed weak and obviously strained after that tour last year. He seems to have slowed down all his songs now and uses that deep tones sparingly. The audience still loves him and sings along, so do I! I appreciate your concert videos more than you know. I would have loved to go to some of those American concerts, but I was caretaking my elderly husband with dementia. So, every night at the end of all my chores, I'd settle down to some of the Paolo videos. Thank you 💖 😊
Aha, Yes the tour puts a strain on his voice, understandably so. I'm very sorry to hear about your husband, I know how hard it can be. My father is also struggling with dementia😢 Im happy to hear that my videos gave you some comfort through the hardship ❤@@leslienoble9736
That was beautiful.
