My interpretation about the video is that the "death" is actually a symbol. In my opinion, from the car until the end, everything is about symbology. The red light comes for him and he saw her moving on (green light) with another guy. She's happy and such, but the moment he saw her, his life (that was before also on green light) stoped. He cares a lot about everything around her, not exactly about other people's life. He tries to make up the best scenario around her because he wants her life to be perfect and to stop the jerks around here, and just If everything is perfect for her he'll be able to move on. The rose is his final good-bye As the lyrics say, he "thought she was suffering, but she's looking good". That's only what he sees, not the reallity. She being hit by a car is actually what is happening "behind what he sees". It would be a symbol that he can only see her happy face, but she's actually suffering more than him and wanting to go back to him, but he already saw the green light and moved on without looking back. Everyone around her realize it, but not him. Verbal Jint is the only one whom can see both sides of the history, as he's watching (just like us) and singing, and see both Yoon-G suffering and the main character "killing her" (letting her go).
