I was thinking about this song last night as I was skimming salt out of a 100 gallon aluminum sow ingot mold. I work in a rotary cast house, where we do 12-hour shifts. And the night shift is from 5:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. After 10 days we switch to day shift which is 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. And the night shift is extremely crazy nights. It seems like our equipment is always all beat-to-hell. So malfunctions on various things that we really need are common. So we have to find crazy workarounds. And it is sometimes 140°F/60°C in the cast house. Because of these things, for my sanity to survive I keep a sense of humor. And it's interesting because the shin guards that we wear are shiny and would fit right in with a Kiss show. And I have to say it's wonderful to see them performing
