The easiest way to bind to this is to simply add your bind phrase on betaflight. It instantly binds without having to push the button and doesn't unbind. This is a great little quad right out of the box! The tune it comes with is pretty spot on!
“Thanks Calvin , for the insightful tutorial on binding the Hummingbird Version 3 to the pocket controller. I faced a challenge with outdated firmware on my controller, but your detailed steps helped me navigate and update it successfully. Your video was extremely helpful!”
The Radiomaster Pocket is soooooo easy. The default model works perfectly with my NBD Hummingbird V3. Didn't need to setup in Betaflight, didn't need to do any controller setup besides setting packet rate to 150 Hz. Really great product, so fun to fly. Keep it up NBD! Ciotti sold me on this one. ganglyGAAAAANG haha
I've just started racing and appreciate the "feel" of the 0703 16420 kV motors with the meteor65 pro frame and 35mm propellers. I appreciate that you can fit everything onto this tiny cross-style board and that it is small enough to fit into the 65 pro frame. I get 4 minutes of flight time with this configuration. The batteries you sell are top notch too. hoping you can get more 250 mAh batteries because I really want to try
What’s the protocols in the beta fox controller I need in there ? I mean I’m told I don’t need to plug in drone to do anything at all. Already “Ready to fly” I am told. Lol, SO NOT TRUE. Everything I do DOES NOT WORK. I ask about elrs 3.0 or above. Is that in the controller ? I think I’m up to what is now? 4. Something? Lol, I tried either. No go. I have beta fox pro and I controller
Question I can’t bind the hummingbird to the jumper v2, I seen videos to use flysky, bugmini, and elrs, I have try pushing the button in the bottom and it still won’t bind to the controller so at this point, anybody has any other suggestion please let me know. At this point starting to regret not buying just a beginners set up kit.
My Hummingbird V3 kept losing or resetting its binding phrase and Actual Rate previously almost every time that I changed battery after a flight. It seems to be ok yesterday after I followed these ruclips.net/video/mMorXvJRKgI/видео.html but I still don't know which setting is making it better. I suspect it is by bumping up the minimum cell voltage from 2.9 to 3.2, although currently it doesn't makes sense because these setting are already inside the flight controller. Do you know how come?
it can be the main MCU problem. We do have one case like that, replace the F411 chips fix the problem. You can also try flash firmware. You can find the firmware on our website: newbeedrone.com and you will see firmware download, click in and find Hummingbird V3.
Please don’t make it seem so effortless when there’s SO much more that will trouble shoot you. Hence why I’ve been trying to bind for 3 months and asking for help. I get same old messages… this isn’t accurate completely by far.. they also didn’t tell you that you have to switch back to previous version from version4 because you won’t be able to fly anymore, something like that. I JUST DONT KNOW and suppose after buying 4 of your drones and came broken… yeah no help.. until I met one customer service and we will see how that goes after dishing out More cash for shipping there and back..

I tried that and it did not work for me. Maybe others have gotten it to work. I had to press the button.

Is it on the newest Betaflight configurator? Thanks
It should be the same.

@@NewBeeDrones ok got it… Appreciate the reply… I’ll try one of those choice.
