Hi Natasha here's my mom's recipe in loving memory of her :
Mom's Baking Powder Biscuits
3 Cups Flour
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 egg
6 teaspoons =2 Tablespoons Baking powder
1 ¹/²cup milk
3 heaping teaspoons
Crisco shortening
Beat egg well.Add cold milk to make 1¹/²
Cups.Add more milk if
needed so dough will be soft enough to handle.Pinch off about 1/3 of dough at a time and roll one way for flaky biscuits on a floured surface. Bake at 450⁰ for 10minutes .Each batch makes 12 to 24
biscuits. It's been a long time since I made them to remember the exact number of biscuits.

I'm glad I caught this video. I had not seen it back in Autumn. Love it. Please be practical. You are a good shopper. They're short staffed everywhere. I feel for the hard workers who are unemployed.

Unfortunately salaries for most workers cannot keep up with prices. This affects for a healthy economy.
@normadvelez80 your 1000 % correct is heartbreaking!! My family now and my husband and I know the struggle as a kids too. Thankful at the moment I’m able to but there has definitely been dry seasons for us as a family! Trusting Jesus Christ is what’s giving us hope! God Bless ❤️

In our Aldi's up here in North Central Iowa, they don't let us take any cases of food any longer.
If you want a case of food, you have to call and put an order in for it.
They started that about a year ago.
People from churches and the homeless shelters were coming in and taking so many cases that there wasn't enough for regular customers.
I don't mind it.
If i know for sure when I'm going to do my shopping, I just call ahead and order my vegetables by cases

I just love going to Aldi's.
They have good products at low prices.
I already have my list for Monday.
It's sort of a short list because I am also going to Sam's Club next week.

Could you save for a coffee machine and cut the Starbucks? We did this and it’s made a big difference. My husband was buying 1-2 coffees per day.
