4:23 What was that BN E9 doing there? Also, was that a small track running around the museum grounds at 9:36? I thought I was crazy for remembering something like that from the late '90s but I might have been right from the look of things!
The 9913 came to ITM after it was taken out of service pulling Metra trains in Chicago. The ITM Operations director and his dad made arrangements for that engine to come to ITM for repair and test runs prior to its next assignment after it left ITM. I received many of my student engineer hours running that engine and was certified prior to it leaving ITM when I took it to Tipton for interchange with the Central.
This was the same month I visited the museum. Do they still run electrics?

This is a Chicago elevated car. Does anyone know what happened to this car?
The car was either sold, or scrapped along with some other 4000’s the ITM had sadly
Sadly the parks department has pulled out the trolls line in forest park
That is a steel Chicago L car running, not an interurban streetcar.
