    I have always loved XP-Pen but Wow, they have really stepped up their game! I can even see the justification of the higher pricing based on my old Artist Pro 1st Gen. It is gonna be a few months but I can't wait to upgrade! Also, I never really use the buttons, I do all my shortcuts w my left hand on the keyboard to the side.

I’ve been watching your videos of drawing tablets and I’m loving your reviews on XPPen tablets lately. I watched your video on the XPPen Artist Pro 15.6 and I seriously love how it looks and how the way you used it came out pretty nicely.

    XP Pen is almost hitting the sweet spot! Once they reach 120hz I feel like they'll dominate the market. This model looks much nicer than my Cintiq 16 as well, the FHD is very noticeable

    • @lesnacke

    • @lesnacke
      @lesnacke Год назад +18

      @tristen_grant would still be less than the cintiq 27 pro. also if they dont put it on a fucken mobile studio device they can keep the cost down probably

    • @orcusdei
      @orcusdei Год назад +19

      Honestly Cintiq 16 is absolute crap that shouldn't be on market in a first place. Wacom is really dropping a ball here. Cintiq 16 has terrible colors, terrible brightness, it's grainy and has noticable paralax. Doesn't even have matte screen but it has matt foil on top. Absolute crap that is saved by the digitizer, pen and software.
      Cintiq 16 PRO is awful aswell cause it has terrible fan that is loud and crappy.
      There are only 2 things that are holding me back from XP Pen:
      - the noticable jitter we can see even in this video
      - they don't have slim pen

    • @geekdoesstuff
      @geekdoesstuff Год назад +4

      imo dismissing a device just because of its fans is kinda weird. I have a cintiq pro 16 and dont even notice the fans. its worth it to me to have the better pen as well as the touch features and great screen. The regular cintiq also has a worse screen but youre still getting that great wacom pen. @@orcusdei

    • @orcusdei
      @orcusdei Год назад

      @@geekdoesstuff If you are working on it for 8 hours and you always hear the stupid fan hum, I guarantee you you will build up tinnitus in like 10-15 years. I can't stand it. There is no reason why it should have active cooling. If you like it, good for you, but it's pretty expensive device and there is not really a reason for it to have one, since none of my professional monitors have one either.
      Second, there is absolutely 0 access to the fan, so once the fan is dead and because the fans in Cintiq are of a terrible quality it will happen sooner than later, once the bearings in it die because of dust, you can throw your tablet away.
      Sure, if you don't mind it, good for you. I already had this experience with Wacom and even tho they serviced that 3 times for me, it is always one month without my working device. So yeah, active fan is a preeeeeetty big deal for me ;-)

    I'm so glad I held out buying the previous version. The reason I'm looking into this model (16 Pro) is that sweet sweet color gamut. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I've never seen another tablet that has a higher color gamut as the 16 Pro, not even more expensive models or other brands.

    I picked up one of these new tablets myself a few weeks ago and so far im super impressed. I wish it had better viewing angles as I find them quite bad even for IPR, but for the price its really good! The 16:10 aspect ratio is also great for this tablet format

      I don't understand what stabilizer You mean.
      When the pen moves to draw a line, the line created is behind the pen. While the pen is still moving, the line created cannot yet touch the pen.
      The line can only touch the pen when the pen stops moving.
      So I think that there is a noticeable delay between the line created and the movement of the pen.

    • @Dokkee

      @Madpett that's a stabilizer, it trails behind the pen to make a smoother line, if it's connected to the tip of the stylus every jittery movement you make will be noticed in the line

I now wanted to buy my first drawing tablet and, since I have no "normal" tablet aswell, I was wondering if I should go with something like this (rn costs 449 and not 600) or the iPad 9th gen. Can you use this specific tablet on windows 10 and 11? I have windows 11 and I’m currently using an iPad Pro for drawing but I want to move to Clip Studios Paint on my Pc on Windows 11 but I’m having trouble using my iPad on my Pc since most options I have requiere subscriptions and spending too much money in a decent way to use my iPad for it or I just can’t make it work with the free options. So I was thinking in selling my iPad and using the money to get this tablet since so far it has so many things I want to do on it. But I want to know if you can use it on Windows 11 so I can draw on CSP

    Look amazing but I think I will stick with trying to get the Huion studio.
    Also Brad how do I get windows ink to stop in Adobe I've tried everything. I even made a registrar file to stop it. It keeps bringing up a right click when I try to draw slowly.

      do u really think thats a great idea to buy any "studio" standalone tablet? huion studio 24 - $2400 USD and gives you 220 nits of brightness... its not like its cheap, u cant upgrade it, if anything goes wrong its gg bro. i would never buy that unless money is no issue

      @lesnacke huion have come along way. I would prefer to get the wacom 24 with the add pc in the back. But they stopped with the pc, you can't get it anywhere.

    I don’t understand why all tablets except Wacom all have the power cord sticking up like that. So easy to break or unsightly to see.

    Someone please help! do xp pens have to be plugged into a computer? or is that optional?? i don’t want to buy it without knowing. someone please let me know

      It’s a pen display, it needs to be plugged into a computer source to display the image. If you want just a portable drawing tablet without the computer then just get an iPad Air.

    I'm not a big fan of remotes, I get disoriented easily and with my 13.3 pro I still push the wrong buttons sometimes and I don't like moving my arms that much when I'm focusing on my work, although that 16k sensitivity sure does sound nice tho and the brushed aluminum edges really looks enticing, but I think I'll give it a pass or when the price of it drops.

      A big plus of having a remote is it does make it alot easier for left handed people.

    Its so annoying that they dont include cables with the tablet. Not everyone is connecting to a laptop.
