If security is employed directly by the company (Does not work for a security company) they do not need an SIA license, the SIA only controls licensed security companies and their employees
That is very much incorrect, all security officers require a active SIA Licence This is direct from the SIA Website - It is illegal to work in the security industry without an SIA Licence. Some people need to check facts before they write incorrect information
@@simoncornwall5169 Again if you are employed directly by a private company lets say the Co-op as security you do not need an SIA license the SIA as you have stated cover the security industry but they cannot tell a private company what they can and cannot do or in what rolls they employ people. Not sure British assault vs battery. But in USA "Assault" is threatening a person. "Battery" is any physical expression of that threat. Once the guard touches you, pours water at you, grabs your camera . . . then it is "Battery" and criminal and jail.

Yeah, maybe Security Trainers will use your videos to train Security Personal how to deal with unusual enquiries, the first Security Guard was losing the head far too easy (stress and fear), the Second Guard deserves a lot of credit for his efforts remaining calm, often people say too much I know I do, it's having a voice in your head that says either calm down or shut up. There was a *Head Office/Regional Head Office* above the *Titan Centre Co-op Supermarket* in *Towngate, Wyke, Bradford,* both of which closed in 2017. If you can find out where that *Yorkshire Head Office* moved to in 2017, go and film there. There's a corrupt Asian boss of the Yorkshire county or region (whose name I can't remember) in there who hires his useless Asian mates as managers of Co-ops. I worked under 3 of his mates that he hired as managers, and 2 of them were lazy and useless... One was decent and polite Co-op Supermarket Manager. One sat in the office all day long, and did no shop floor work whatsoever unlike the other 7+ Co-op Supermarket Managers we had in 8 years (most of them were there for just a couple of months), plus he had an attitude problem. And the third used to be a manager at a Co-op Petrol Station, until he was moved to our Co-op Supermarket store as a supervisor. Therefore he had been demoted from his previous role. He was also lazy, as he also sat in the office for most of the day doing nothing when the manager wasn't around, and clearly didn't know what he was talking about, so it begs belief how he even became a manager in the first place, however we all know how he got the job. I as a normal staff member knew more about ordering, deliveries, the price labels, the price tickets, the printers, the photocopier, the lottery machine, the bill paying machine, the checkout machines, where to put stuff, how to do things etc than he a former manager turned supervisor did. I once overheard him telling a customer that they couldn't pay their bill, as we don't do those kind of bills here, so I went over and showed him that they can pay their bill here, and this is how it should be done.
Lets hope that the first dudes employers and the co-op execs see this. They can then make the decision on the type of people they employ to represent themselves.
The African was spot on except for the drone which he admitted he wasn’t sure on. The grass section near the manhole covers I think is private but publicly assessable. There doesn’t appear to be a doorway on the coop side of the road. The box on the fence is a motion vibration sensor in case anyone tries to scale the fence
We never got down to the basic question of WHY it's a problem to record the operation. Why do so many of these operations have a problem with being recorded? Perhaps they are hiring illegally.

Well done DJ.
Yes, there is good and bad..
The Co Op probably doesn't employ them, they`d more than likely outsourced it to a contractor; a contractor who submitted the lowest price for it. They can only afford a low price by using idiots like this. It happens all over the place
Doc Ock may use his superpowers with that hi-vis on.
I'm glad somebody else thought that, dead ringer for Doc Oc!!!!
Doc ock? More like Dik edd.
The second guard is a legend, a LEGEND!
I disagree, he was just a lot let abusive than the first. A person with less confidence would have been bullied by him.
Whated to have his say, receive no explanation or reply before trying to further stamp his badgeless 'authority' further.
The first guy was a typical tyrant. Second guy was reasonable and informed and a credit (although he should be wearing his sia badge)
The 2nd guy was cool, calm and collected we need him in the Police force, respect
That security guard has anger management issues. How on earth have Coop put him in a public facing position.
Wow security guy throwing a proper strop 😂 bad attitude dude
SIA accreditation is in fact pointless , totally pointless , I know of 3 door men who have no SIA licence ,
I've reported them to the SIA and they've said there's nothing they can do ...
@@DavidMiller-pt5su gives me hay-fever!
Snitching on people wow i bet you report your kids for offences
@@Spacer-l3j ponce
@@DavidMiller-pt5su so if DJ reported this guy for aggressive behaviour and failing to show his SIA Badge, does that make him a Grass too?
@@DavidMiller-pt5su what's NNY?
Toying with that foreign security guard😂
I would expect a little more co-operation from the co-op. Maybe the security guard thought he was working for "Spar?"
🤣😂🤣🤣😂
a truly wonderful audit, and a big thank you also to the first security guard who, with his aggressive behaviour and lack of knowledge, made this video more entertaining than it might otherwise have been. such uneducated tyrants are a gift to any auditor 🙂
The second security officer was very good. He did a great job 👏
> "Don't give me attitude".
LOL! He's probably never heard of 'Pot calling kettle black' :-D
2nd guy was top-notch though.
Second guy dealt with the situation very well
WoW that's Amazing! That's one of your best Audits, 2nd guy was a bit nicer
Not sure that first security guy is in the right job. He's the most aggressive one I think I've seen in any of these videos.
I was really worried for his safty! .. with that amount of aggression he would of been fully in his right to protect himself robustly ... e.g Knock the asshole out!!
2nd security guard was fantastic really professional and good at de escalating any hostilities. I feel like he should of got more props and DJ should of made his life a little easier if I’m being honest
Where do these firms recruit these security guards? straight off the dinghy on a southern beach!
Wow, that was interesting, really impressed by the second guy, he was the most professional I've seen, well done sir! I thought the first guy was gonna get hands on with you ☺️ I think that area with the cover might be some kind of ground water monitoring site or similar.
If security is employed directly by the company (Does not work for a security company) they do not need an SIA license, the SIA only controls licensed security companies and their employees
That is very much incorrect, all security officers require a active SIA Licence
This is direct from the SIA Website - It is illegal to work in the security industry without an SIA Licence.
You only need an SIA license if you work for a security company.
@@simoncornwall5169 You need an SIA licence to work in contracted security, but not if you work as in-house security. The exception to this is door supervision. Door supervisors and vehicle immobilisers need an SIA licence whether they are in-house or contract.
I’m staying here on the carpet 😭😂😭😂😭😂 gowon Aladdin 💪🏼
Great audit, loved the drone footage, the security guards were chalk and cheese, the second guard did a good job indeed, we do need more like him, with perhaps more knowledge of rights to film in public.
@2:55 watch as the prey retreats back into his portacabin as the predator approaches
You showed remarkable restraint with that aggressive guard!
We should hold these Security Company's to account, having the right personal for the gate house position and knowing our rights is very important. Immigrant's bringing their Country's customs and norms, and trying to enforce them on the native population is troubling to say the least.🇬🇧
Well said and you are 100% right in what you said.. They come here like savages from where they run away from...
@jocksteiner and you must live in a gated community, away from the real world.
@jocksteiner most of the working class of this Country lives on Council Estates, that was a bit disingenuous of you too say that.🇬🇧
@jocksteiner well your not a true Britain if you're siding with the frogs🐸, Words like Millennial Gobshite and Turncoat spring too mind.🇬🇧

Black dude was spot on. Only critism is when he said he wasnt sure of drone rules you should have educated him. He literally asked you if you needed permission as he wasnt sure.
Nicely presented video and commentary as
always DJ AUDITS massive respect mate 👊
Good on ya mate, very respectful…top draw. What a merchant banker the first security guard was.
credit to the African security guy, without full articulation of English language and law.
He deescalted the situation with human approach.
100 times better than most private security goons.
Hope company give him some praise, with slight upgrade in his knowledge, would be a very good company rep and security guy.
One of few security guys, along with Focus Pocus' Bodmin, to not make a pratt of himself.
Security #2 is brilliant ❤
Why are all these security guards none English speakers I think the security companies are abusing them and they only want better for them and there loved ones. You handle this well mate
You're an absolute muppet if you think that they aren't all English. By the way, I've met many foreigners or foreign looking guards who speak decent English.
@@joelc9439 wow I'm glad I have a room in your head, you might want to read what I said so you don't get so butt hurt.
Maybe because english people are better on UC and moaning on facebook
What amazes me is that Eastern Europeans arrive in the UK & start telling UK law abiding citizens on what to do it’s absolutely astonishing what the world has come to
Big up DJ AUDITS mate
Not sure British assault vs battery.
But in USA "Assault" is threatening a person. "Battery" is any physical expression of that threat. Once the guard touches you, pours water at you, grabs your camera . . . then it is "Battery" and criminal and jail.
In Scotland there is no battery, just assault which is the same as your battery.
Might be different in England?
The Greek guy was typically Greek ....and the other chap ..wherever he was from was a gentleman, and attempted to calm the situation ..they have a job to do and he was trying his best to be.polite and courteous...
Maybe Italian or Croatian?
Hungarian was my guess for the first guy. The second guy maybe Ugandan? Would be interested to know as i find people fascinating ( although I prefer to document as a viewer rather than actually interact)
First security guard an absolute helmet ! Why companies persist in using foreigners to be frontline employees who have no idea of what is expected, what is their role and how to carry it out, they ( most ) talk jibberish are exceptionally bad at English as bad at personal interactions, aggressive and arrogant, that first guy needs to be dismissed immediately, he is ridiculous,, however the second security guy was a decent guy who expressed himself politely and respectfully, well done to him , he deserves a promotion, ,,,,
When they go on these security courses why don't they teach them about public photography and what the laws are ?
Can't wait for this 😎
You should hint that you maybe an sia inspector! Another great video and well handled. Stay safe and strong.
Noted 👍
Yeah, maybe Security Trainers will use your videos to train Security Personal how to deal with unusual enquiries, the first Security Guard was losing the head far too easy (stress and fear), the Second Guard deserves a lot of credit for his efforts remaining calm, often people say too much I know I do, it's having a voice in your head that says either calm down or shut up. (I have one, but sometimes takes days off).
2nd guy was really nice & respectful doing his job to the best of his abilities. If Wincanton see this they should reward him for his approach to possible conflict.
Hahahaha, this is just brilliant 😂😂😂 “are you taking the piss?” 😂😂😂😂 I would have said, “of course not, you are mate though.” Great video, I really enjoyed that one. 👍👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Thanks Tony blair just what we needed
It would appear that the only qualification you need for a security job is to happy to take the wages they pay .
The only qualification you need is not to be British! If you think that is racist.... tough titties!!
1st security guard should be sacked for blatant rudeness / being angry and swearing at a member of public.
The second guy was a lovely fella, he just needs to comply with the law and keep his SIA badge on display. The first one, well, the less said the better.
He really is in the wrong job! I know the Co-op doesn't employ him but you need to tell them what a bad light he is putting them in ! unbelievable behaviour 😳 😢 !!
12:10 So the guy admits he doesn't know about the drone laws and accepts that DJ knows what he's doing. So how come he couldn't admit to not knowing about photography laws. Or trespass laws.
That was the only things they were talking about & that would mean he would have to admit he didn't know anything, which would be the only thing he could admit to!!
I quite like that second security officer ,he totally agreed with you and your right to film
Am I talking to a brick wall is classic tho 😂
