    I want to thank you for this video. I am a beginning keyboard player who just bought a Yamaha Reface CP and i was looking for a video like this with someone playing great jazz covers using these sounds. This keyboard is special. Please continue to do more videos like this.

      Thank you so much for listening. I know you're gonna love this little keyboard. I think it's a great instrument to learn on, but it also has a beautiful sound and feel that will continue to serve you even when you get really experienced.

    I bought one of these years ago and I take it everywhere with batteries and a recharger... just an amazing piece of kit... everytime I think about buying an Nord Electro or Stage again for live I'm reminded how I can just plug in a master keyboard into the CP and use it as a module....

    Wow, just sat there with that little keyboard right on his lap, and made some really nice music. Good job Claude👍

    Oh, Claude, this was gorgeous.
    And really inspiring, both to play this piece and to get the Reface.

    Wow, beautiful playing. Very delicate and dynamic. You're really making the most out of the reface cp! I haven't heard this Bill Evans piece before - something about it reminds me of Chopin.

      Thank you for listening! I know that he loved classical music, so you're probably right about the Chopin influence...

    I could listen to Bill Evans all day, and have. Good days all. Thanks for this Claude! Do you really have to hide in the basement to play?? ...also, which voice is this? Wr??

    • @claudesaint-nuage
      @claudesaint-nuage  11 месяцев назад

      lol...Thanks for listening! Yes, this is the Wr. Its bass end is more appealing to my ears, but the top is kind of thin, so it's a bit of a tradeoff.

    Your videos of using Yamaha Reface CP is the best. I'm wondering about how much time is needed to get used to small keyboard. Is it complete disaster or not?

    • @claudesaint-nuage
      @claudesaint-nuage  8 месяцев назад +1

      thank you for listening! It takes about 5 minutes to get used to.

      @@claudesaint-nuagethank you for your reply! really looking into something portable and what i can bring with myself during travels and spontaneous jams but yet something autonomous, not like midi-keyboard. this thing seems perfect!
