I'm kind of glad Lockstin & Gnoggin's prediction for the rebooting after gen 7 didn't come true (Dexit was bad enough, to be honest). However, I hope his prediction regarding eevee is correct and that there won't be any eeveelutions made for physical types. That line's got plenty of attention already, and I don't think it needs any more. Though if the developers do cave and add to the line, I kind of hope they'll do it by giving existing forms dual-typed regional variants as opposed to making completely new evolved forms. Better than doing an exceptionalistic no-new-evolved-forms-for-existing-pokémon-except-eevee thing like in gen 6.
I don’t get why so many people were so adamant on origin dialga and palkia in bdsp. I always thought it made more sense they appeared in the game literally set in the past. I still do tbh
My wildest prediction was that Regieleki was a Ground type. I thought since its Eye pattern looked like a bone (Associated with Ground, Marowak, Bone rush) with its arms being Tumbleweeds, and its body being a Rigid shed shell.
8:20 So many people said it was something else like the evolution of Meltan, even when people already knew about the G-Max Toxicity. Seriously, it took so long for people to make that one connect.
This makes me happy that I stay away from all theories and speculations before a release. I don't wanna be hype about an idea to then be disappointed. I have more fun just being surprised about whatever I find 😁 Some of these were pretty funny tho :)
Well, since you said to come back, we have hisuian starter forms and Origin Dialga and Palkia. 🤣😁 All good fun. Keep up the good work! Love the content
I remember when Zarude’s cry was found before he was announced. Due to how similar it is to Jynx’s cry, some people thought it was a Galarian evolution for Jynx. I even saw a fanart of this supposed new evolution that was made out of Zarude’s silhouette
Personally, before SM comes out I predict that Team Skull is a voodo themed team, and Guzma is also a witch doctor who want to use voodoo magics to terrorize the Alola region. That theory sure don’t age well, worse than milk.
I have two predictions now: 1) SwSh will get more DLC in 2022. Reason why I believe this is because TPC still hasn't released the OST for SwSh. 2) Gen 9 games will release in Fall 2023. They were initially scheduled to launch Fall 2022 but got pushed back a year due to COVID. My first prediction will likely be wrong, but I strongly believe my second one is correct
4:00 Honestly, I guessed Diantha was the champion of Kalos for the exact same reason why people were guessing Sycamore was the champion: her rather unconventional role. Back when she was announced as an NPC, literally NOTHING was known about her role in the game. Why would they hype up an important NPC but NOT say what her role is in the game... unless she's the Champion and want to keep it a secret until the end? They kept the Champion roles for previous Champions a secret in their respective games before, which also were random NPCs like Steven or Cynthia, so it would make sense. At the time, we NEVER had a Pokémon Professor as the champion before (and technically speaking, never after, either), and Sycamore's role in the game WAS revealed early on, so why would HE be the Champion INSTEAD of the random NPC character that Game Freak put under the spotlight without revealing her tole in the game?
I think that it's possible to get new forms for Dialga and Palkia, but they won't be Primal forms, they would be Origin forms simply because Primal Reversion has been abandoned entirely. Plus, it makes more sense for them to match Giratina's own form by name and mechanic rather than two Pokemon from a completely unrelated trio. But those forms will not be in BDSP until PLA provides them for the former via an item transfer because making us get more than one Pokemon game to access content is a thing they love doing. That's how I see it happening anyways.
I agree, but also consider that Primal Dialga was the very first Primal Pokemon ever created, years before Groudon and Kyogre, so it would have been amazing to see it return. But yeah, I can definitely picture some really cool ideas for Origin Dialga and Origin Palkia.
they may not be in bdsp at all, it may be bdsp is where you get Arceus, it being uncatchable in Legends, but perhaps Origin Dialga/Palkia would be transferable to SwSh , the battle spot/main game hub of pokemon is still sword shield , bdsp are still generation 8 engine pokemon games
About eevelutions: the evolutions types are determined by the elements that are based on Special Attack. Verify every current eeveelutions, their types and the attacks of said type and you'll see.
The games were still amazing without them, though. I get it, it was a cool place that added more to do, but I feel like people shouldn't say that the games were bad JUST because the Frontier was absent.
@@braydenleaderofthetirkins1143 and the frontier is nothing more than rng bullshit. It's a gamble whether or not you'll get to the end or the very first NPC battle completely destroys you

I think Armoured Pokémon would be a genuinely interesting mechanic to add to the series. It exists in Fan Games, and as a concept it gives a different appearance to the Pokémon while increasing its defence. I think Pheromosa would be a good pick to get Armour.
I remember I thought Sinnoh remakes would release after Sun/Moon and have regional variants, shutting the door forever on the one-gen gimmick. Glad I was wrong about regionals. Sorry I was wrong to assume Sinnoh would have anything new

One of the earliest rumors I recall hearing was that XY would her sequels usually to as X2Y2 or XZ YZ
My dumb Sword and Shield predictions that turned out to be wrong : - Sandy, Lana's Eevee, was going to foreshadow a new Eeveelution, possibly ground type (for the name) or a aquatic looking Dragon type - We wouldn't get Kalos but Kalos/Galar lore - Wooloo was going to evolve into a wolf in sheep's clothing - Yamper and Impidimp were interconnected and evolved together into a fairy riding a corgi - The professor was actually the queen (I mean, she looks like her and her granddaughter has a corgi). Fighting the sword and shield guys in the post games would reveal that galarian people dethroned her and these guys would try to become kings themselves Some of them were really out there but I'm really disappointed by Wooloo's and Yamper's evolution.
From what i learned, expect something from Kanto, via game or evolution. Steelix, Leafgreen, Electavier, Hidden abilities, Mega Charizard, Alolan Raichu, Dynamax Charizard. Watch some random Kanto pokemon get something. Like... new form for... Fearrow. Yeah

Honestly I think we ARE getting new forms the starters in Legends Arceus. I mean we have only seen the starters in their pre evolution but we haven’t seen Typhlosion, Samurott, or Decidueye yet even though we already know that they evolve into them. Plus they’re giving tons of Pokémon new forms so why not the starters?
New forms for the starters just wouldn't make any sense. The starters in Legends Arceus are stated to have been from other regions, meaning they wouldn't have had enough time in Hisui to get Hisuian forms. Plus, I feel like if they were going to give new forms to the starters, they'd make those new forms also apply to the base forms like with Zorua and Growlithe. That being said, I really hope we do get new forms, especially because I hate samurott and wanna see the cool concept done justice.
I never understood why third generations stopped being a thing. They're pretty much always the best versions. Sun and Moon felt perfect for a sequel/Kanto region.
There is actually a Hisuian Typhlosion (Ghost), Samurott (Dark), and Dicidueye (Fighting). I would've chose Rowlet if I kew at the time, but I ended up with Cyndaquil.
While I would love to play a open-world Pokémon game that we thought Legends Arceus was going to be, the idea of going on missions is cool enough so I’m still excited for the game
I still think L:A will give us hisuian starter evolutions. Just seems weird not to show the evolutions since we already know what they’d be, unless they’re a different form
Would be actually weird if we get them, since they don't live in the wild and they are imported from other regions, so they haven't had time to properly adapt to Hisui. I mean, we haven't seen Infernape and Torterra either.
Sometimes I'm very sad we never got Pokemon Z or Pokemon stars... I'm glad tho that instead of releasing a Pokemon armour or something like that, I'm kinda glad they went for the DLC. It was cheaper for us and I personally felt like it completed the games
tbh, people assumed Pokemon Stars was coming due to the rumors containing them from people who had seen files, but as it turned out, Pokemon Stars was only the worktitle for Ultra Sun and Moon.

there is no physical eeveelution which because ghost for some reason for a few generations was phsycial is probably why they arent making a ghost eevveelution
Three gens in a row, people have predicted that the fire starter would be fighting type.
Three gens in a row, they were wrong.
I think the whole Fire/Fighting thing is pretty much a joke as GameFreak infamously made 3 Fire/Fighting starters in a row for Gens 3-5.
Yeah, but gamefreak makes fire starters look like they are fighting type. Both Cinderace and Incineroar are clearly fire fighting but gamefreak pretends they are not because people wouldn't take another fire fighting.
@@Davidsalesbohrer so, you're saying that they're fighting type without actually being fighting type?
There's like, 52 things wrong with that point of view.
@@Davidsalesbohrer incineroar is based on "heel" wrestlers, aka the bad guys who focus on dirty and underhanded tactics. fighting types are typically associated with having a noble and honourable disposition, something of which dark types (known as evil type in the original language of japanese) typically aren't associated with.
yeah, fighting type would still fit incineroar, but it isn't like it is the first pokemon that could be more than two types.
hell, the same gen brought us dhelmise, a grass/ghost pokemon with an ability that benefits steel moves and a theming that represents water.
idfk about cinderace because i kinda slept on swsh. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
The leaks seasons after USUM were insane lmao. I remember the "tradition vs innovation" thing that many leaks had that would be the theme of Gen 8. There was also the leak that happened back in early 2018 that showed starter Pokemon (the platypus is called Platypet and is now a TemTem) and many thought that they would be the Gen 8 starters.
I honestly thought gigantimax forms where made up, because we already had dynimaxing.
I think my biggest theory was that instead of making another third game, Pokémon Z was going actually to be rolled into ORAS. As in they were going to explain the missing threads from X and Y into that game
No buddy. Zygarde has a Z. It was to be the legendary of the third game. It was a plan
@@PetyrC90 yes I understand that but for a while people theorized that in an attempt to continue to be unpredictable with their third versions, ORAS would have a focus on Zygarde and integrate the dropped plot points from X and Y rather than doing both a third version and a remake
Good thing Gen VII has the Z episode.
"Im 100% sure we wont get primal dialga, palkia and giratina in this game" " Also im 90% sure the starters wont get hisuian forms"
He said 80%
I'm kind of glad Lockstin & Gnoggin's prediction for the rebooting after gen 7 didn't come true (Dexit was bad enough, to be honest).
Better than doing an exceptionalistic no-new-evolved-forms-for-existing-pokémon-except-eevee thing like in gen 6.
people convinced themselves that Yveltal was a Sound-type by the idea that it looks like a tuning fork when it folds its wings, that was funny
Yes there was hisuian forms for the starters just coming back to tell
I missed these one-off types of videos. Great job Ron!
I don’t get why so many people were so adamant on origin dialga and palkia in bdsp. I always thought it made more sense they appeared in the game literally set in the past. I still do tbh
"I don't think the starters will get Hisuian Forms"
Me coming back to the video: "Hey Ron, guess what?"
"the sun is already a star"... woah i didnt even think of that at the time
My wildest prediction was that Regieleki was a Ground type. I thought since its Eye pattern looked like a bone (Associated with Ground, Marowak, Bone rush) with its arms being Tumbleweeds, and its body being a Rigid shed shell.

So many people said it was something else like the evolution of Meltan, even when people already knew about the G-Max Toxicity.
There was a rumor (false) that the starters of Alola would evolve based on what island you were on.
I remember when Zarude’s cry was found before he was announced. Due to how similar it is to Jynx’s cry, some people thought it was a Galarian evolution for Jynx. I even saw a fanart of this supposed new evolution that was made out of Zarude’s silhouette
While there's no platinum story content, there are Pokemon that you can catch in the underground that are normally only obtainable in Platinum
Damn, that Lockstien ultimate Pokémon theory brought back memories
It's an amazing and epic theory, but it's also too insane and too large scale for a pokemon game.
Ya know, in hindsight, we probably should've guessed Origin formes simply due to Giratina's forme being named origin and not Primal.
Origin Palkia/Dialga and Hisuian Starter evos are a thing
Personally, before SM comes out I predict that Team Skull is a voodo themed team, and Guzma is also a witch doctor who want to use voodoo magics to terrorize the Alola region. That theory sure don’t age well, worse than milk.
The main takeaway from this video is that Lockstin is a liar. 😂

Ron: LOCKSTIN IS A LIAR!!!
Me who actually belived that stuff: 👀😒
He's what then?
Ok, but Lockstin is a liar...

Talk about Primal Garitina (spelt wrong. I know.) reminds me of the Primal form it got in the fan made Pokémon Insurgence.
Lol ya
Literally all the predictions he said were wrong for Legends Arceus were right
You could argue that the game isn't entirely open world but once you unlock all the areas you can just kind of do whatever you want
6:18 - I’ll get it right next time 🥲
Big oof for saying that the hisui starters weren't getting new forms
Haven’t watch Truegreen7 in a while, fells good to be back
I have two predictions now: 1) SwSh will get more DLC in 2022.
Fuck no, that’s gonna suck. It’s so obvious SWSH were rushed, I was hoping at least early 2023
SWSH is done. They aren't gonna put effort in that, since everyone will be playing either BDSP and LA (Not to speak about gen 9 coming late 2022).
@@nickdentoom1173 LA is like a new gen since new form and new evo
@@christianprevost8455 Its not, since its not a new region on technicality.

Thats a really cool topic!
I hope I enjoy this video!
But yeah, I can definitely picture some really cool ideas for Origin Dialga and Origin Palkia.
they may not be in bdsp at all, it may be bdsp is where you get Arceus, it being uncatchable in Legends, but perhaps Origin Dialga/Palkia would be transferable to SwSh , the battle spot/main game hub of pokemon is still sword shield , bdsp are still generation 8 engine pokemon games
imagine coming from the future and knowing that Hisuian starters and Dialga and Palkia have new forms
About eevelutions: the evolutions types are determined by the elements that are based on Special Attack. Verify every current eeveelutions, their types and the attacks of said type and you'll see.
Battle Frontier in ORAS...
Battle frontier is a terrible place
The games were still amazing without them, though. I get it, it was a cool place that added more to do, but I feel like people shouldn't say that the games were bad JUST because the Frontier was absent.
@@braydenleaderofthetirkins1143 and the frontier is nothing more than rng bullshit. It's a gamble whether or not you'll get to the end or the very first NPC battle completely destroys you
@@braydenleaderofthetirkins1143 I did enjoy ORAS, and I say this as someone who never played the originals, I don't think its omission was a bad thing but it might of been cool to see it all new and updated. Besides I suppose they substituted it with the Battle Maison from Kalos, which I enjoyed from X&Y.

Sorry I was wrong to assume Sinnoh would have anything new
Sinnoh had new stuff, it just went extinct before the remakes came out.
This is why I’m not fond of Pokémon RUclipsrs that cover false “leaks” and “rumors” or either over or under hype their fanbases.
I can name many culprits, but I shouldn’t need too.
The sad thing is I know exactly what you're talking about and they are a serious pain.
I knew rose was the villain as soon as I saw him. I got this vibe from him and whenever we see him in game he was doing too much
A Leon villain twist would've been amazing, tbh!
*Hears we didn't get Mega Flygon due to artists' block*
We were on the verge of greatness. We were this close
The constant "X remake confirmed" each time a new main game is out, peoples look for anything for "clues” hinting at the next remake in line ("BW2 have blue and red on the games cover, rubby and sapphire are those colours, GEN 3 REMAKE CONFIRMED!!)
Grey and Stars could’ve been codenames for Black 2, White 2, Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon.
Stars is confirmed to have been the working titles for the Ultra games.
@@nickdentoom1173 Then the same logic must work for grey.
I remember when USUM where announced many thought that the legendary Pokémon where wearing “Prism Armor” made by Necrozma and that the starters would get the same treatment and how the Ultra Recon Squad where the new villains. One of the earliest rumors I recall hearing was that XY would her sequels usually to as X2Y2 or XZ YZ
I used to be sad they never finished mega flygon. Now I'm happy they decided to scrap the idea as the result would probably be a bad looking mega

THERE SHOULD BE ONLY ONE S IN HISUIAN!
Well we got *origin* palkia and dialga as well as hisuian starters so-
you were wrong! the starters got Hisuian forms!
Plus, we got the Original forms for Dialga and Palkia.
My dumb Sword and Shield predictions that turned out to be wrong :
- Sandy, Lana's Eevee, was going to foreshadow a new Eeveelution, possibly ground type (for the name) or a aquatic looking Dragon type
- We wouldn't get Kalos but Kalos/Galar lore
- Wooloo was going to evolve into a wolf in sheep's clothing
- Yamper and Impidimp were interconnected and evolved together into a fairy riding a corgi
- The professor was actually the queen (I mean, she looks like her and her granddaughter has a corgi). Fighting the sword and shield guys in the post games would reveal that galarian people dethroned her and these guys would try to become kings themselves
Some of them were really out there but I'm really disappointed by Wooloo's and Yamper's evolution.
I cannot believe the amount of people who seriously thought there was even a chance that megas would make a comeback.
Mega Evolutions will someday return to the series even if we have to wait for Kalos remake generation before that happens.

While I would love to play a open-world Pokémon game that we thought Legends Arceus was going to be, the idea of going on missions is cool enough so I’m still excited for the game
Origin Dialga / Palkia, Hisuian forms for the final starter evolutions: *Laughs* Are you sure about that?
Ron: *Ask Viewers to tell if the starters final forms in legends got hisuian forms*
Me: "Oh ho hooo... *Let the boasting begin..🥴* "
