7:02 - They really need to stop this insanity. It's ruining the sport of fencing. How is it Bryce's attack when he literally took a step back?
Then the ref awards attack in prep at 10:35?
Make fencing simpler and give priority until the fencer stops continuous progression.

at 10:35 itkin is in preparation and is not really attacking but moreso just moving forward, louie starts an attack and itkin reacts, so it is attack in prep.
at 7:02 it can be argued, but Louie's front foot does not actually go backwards at all, just his back foot moving back and forth, so the ref classified it as still his attack.
