- My long overdue of the Ricoh GRD1 from 2006. I have fallen for this cameras black and white capabilities even though the sensor is 8 megapixels and not an APS-C. Here I show some images I was able to build up as a portfolio to show all of you.
CORRECTION: the Canon 1D has a 4mp sensor and the 1Dx which came out in 2011 has a 14mp sensor. I mis spoke.

Legendary camera, i dont care how much camera tech evolves this camera will always be relevant to me. Unbeatable b&w.
Regarding the 'ADJ' button, it's sadly a common fault of the GRD1. Nowadays, most examples you come across has the problem to some degree. Recently I was able to fix the ADJ button on 2 GRD1s and fully restore their function. Now it's time to see how long the repair lasts.

I have this 8.1 megapixel Ricoh gr digital camera from 2006 and use it at 800 iso black and white on dull streets and indoors. I use a card reader to upload to my Huawei P10 plus phone where I can edit and upload to Instagram. I love the filmic quality. Thanks for making this video about this gem of a camera.

@@kimchikidbear don't matter buddy you're mentally focused on another thing other than driving for an extended amount of time, making sure you hit all points and whatnot. you're distracted. this ain't safe.
Is driving really the only time you have to do this to be more active in the channel? This was extremely unsafe and yes, you don’t have your phone in your hand but you’re literally holding and demo’ing a product while driving. Distracted driving is a no from me. Lost loved ones to idiots not paying attention while behind the wheel
Sadly yea. I work as a CNA and those days are 16 hours long so that’s why I don’t post many videos. I’m just dead tired most of the time
