    Don't suppose there's an easy way to pop off the little round cap at the bottom of the reservoir (the spring loaded mechanism that transfers water to the machine)? Cause despite regular cleaning it's brown with dust and I can't reach it to clean it because it's a sealed piece.

      You can let some water and vinegar sit on the reservoir for half an hour before running a cleaning cycle, this will allow the unit to keep the seal at the bottom of the reservoir in a good condition.

    you said to use 16 oz of white venigar but you poured in 3 cups which is more than 16 oz of vinegar

      Hi! You add 16 oz of white vinegar and fill the rest with fresh filtered water until the max fill line.

    I make 1/2 carafe every morning. Use to take 10 minutes. Now double that and yes i just cleaned it. Whats going on?

    Mine is beeping 5 times and wont brew at all and it wont do the clean cycle? Help!!!

    I just got the CE 251 and really like it so far. Question....does the machine turn off automatically or do we have to press the power button manually? Thanks

      It will keep the power light illuminated, but go into a standby mode. I was so on the fence buying such an expensive coffee maker. But it makes such a better cup of coffee than my old one it's hard to believe. I was also unsure about the timer setting. I didn't realize how nice it is to wake up to fresh hot coffee. Overall it's probably my top 3 purchase of 2020

    literally got rid of keurig so i wouldnt have to do this and bought a ninja just to have to do the same.. time to get a farberware perculator and be done with all of this upkeep lol

    The user manual for the CE200 says to clean the system on a weekly basis. Does that mean descaling on a weekly basis or just running plain water?

    The nooks and small impossible to get to spaces at the bottom of the reservoir make it almost impossible to clean. gunk settles at the bottom. I have used vinegar regularly as instructed, a toothbrush with paper towel wrapped around it and still there are spots that are brown and impossible to get to. It is the water reservoir that is not even mentioned in the cleaning instructions that seems the hardest of all to clean. Any advice?

    I have this one and this is my first time cleaning it. The brew button was blinking this morning so I looked it up and it says that's because it needs cleaned. So I put vinegar and water like it says as pushed the clean button and the red light just blinks. How can I fix this? Does anyone know?

      Hey there Jean. You can fill the tank of the coffee maker with a mixture one-half water and one-half withe vinegar.

      Hi Becca! You can remove the water reservoir from the unit by lifting it straight up off of the brewer.

      @@NinjaKitchenUS I wish that manufacturers understood how incredibly annoying the “vocal fry” speaking is in their advertisements and help videos. It became a ‘thing’ at the height of the Kardashian craze. I still hear it in so many places and, apparently, it only appeals to young women. If you don’t know what vocal fry is, look it up. I’m sure that people must’ve thought it was sexy or something.
      New studies are showing that talking like this is actually damaging to the vocal cords.
      Can we just get back to regular, clear voices??

    I read the Ninja instructions, watched a bunch of YT videos on the Ninja coffee maker. Even bought a new water tank. None of the remedies have worked. Not the vinegar, not the descaling solution. Nothing. I tried the 1 hour and the four hour cleaning cycles. None helped. Seems like an overly delicate and unnecessarily complicated design. The most effective solution appears to be throwing this useless piece of s...t into the garbage and buying a better machine.

    Not working. Both the brew light & the clean light fade in and out when I tried each. Fairly new machine & not working at all! The plate doesn't get hot. Tried the ultimate RESET yeah, that doesn't do anything! Love the whole reset thang..... all ya do is unplug it for 5 minutes.... it's just another distraction piece for saying this coffee maker is sh!t.
