Final part of the engine restoration for the Zundapp Combinette 428 model's engine.
I have this moped for a good few years now and finally got to restore the Engine.

Hello Tom.
I’ve just bought a Combinette 1959.
I’m the second owner of the moped.
But I’m having some problems with the gears.
First and neutral works fine but second doesn’t want to go in right.
Do you have any suggestions?

Have you opened the engine to see if there is a problem internally?. I am not a mechanic so would not know of another cause other than the gear cable settings that would cause this problem. Consult a mechanic.

No I have not.
But in your video you had a similar problem.
You found first gear and neutral but didn’t find second gear.
And I’m just wondering how you solved the problem?

@oskarcarlqvist1321 I haven't tried to start the engine, due to my back problems.
