    I absolutely love your reveals man. I swear you're the only one that doesn't get all worked up when you don't get a 10. Crazy thing is you predict on target on almost everything. Keep these coming!

      @sp123 nah, these were tweeners with noted reasons. Most cards really are between a 9 and 10.

    Hey Frosty. Always enjoy your video. Congrats on Calvin Johnson 10. Have you noticed more damages done by PSA lately? I’m gonna have to take your advice and take pics of cards before sending in because I swear they come back with damages that didn’t exist previously.

      @RobShim Hey Rob,
      I've gotta say I've only ever run into PSA damaging my cards during the slabbing process maybe less than a handful of times in the last 4 years or so until the 6 months.
      Everytime a random 5 or 6 come back I'll look at my inspection videos again then inspect the slab and see the same slabbing indents as I did on the Jordan in the example of this video.
      It's hard to deny the mark when it's literally in the same shape as the slab holder.
      I would 100% take the time to do a full video scan of your card in case you need to try and work with PSA and proving to them that it happened during their process.

    The 96 Finest Kobe had the coating in the BGS slab but there was no coating on the one in the PSA slab.

      @packtheripper1406 yes, it was decided we peel it due to bubbling and blemishes on the coating.

      @@frostyfeetcards I know brother I have a huge pile too. Maybe it's kind of like an insurance policy at least it is graded PSA 10 and something whatever happened to you not saying that it's going to LOL but at least your family will be able to send it to DC Sports 87 and get the most out of it

    Psa downgraded my sgc 10s 9.5s 17 of them! Plus damaged a 1500 dollar card of mine

    • @frostyfeetcards
      @frostyfeetcards  2 месяца назад

      @@michaeldenzer6024 Eeek! If you haven't, start taking pics and videos for documentation. Unfortunately I've been seeing it more often from cards in slabs sent in my direction.
      SGC though be careful as their criteria is different. Not super surprising on the downgrades on a cross but make sure your SGC cards have good corners and edges before shooting them off to PSA. I did a pretty big case study of 109 SGC 9.5's and 10s and was incredibly surprised at the amount of issues I was able to find.

    That Jordan Total O had 2 10s and 2 9.5s and you sent it to PSA? Not a good idea. That card was worth it weight with those grades. Big loss

    • @frostyfeetcards
      @frostyfeetcards  Месяц назад

      @LambeauLeeeper The owner and I discussed the flaws and we knew the risk and took a chance and the coin flipped the other way. The pinhole sized blemish was my biggest concern but the juice was worth the squeeze. Expectations were set that it could go either way and with grapefruit sized balls, my man took the risk. Subgrades are also just based on subjectivity of the grader so you can't take it verbatim either. Though on the label, 9.5, 9.5, 10, 10 does look great for resale for someone that would likely try the same experiment. It happens.
