- Florida State went into a tough road matchup against Louisville and left the Derby City with a 35-31 victory and a 3-0 record for the first time since 2015. After QB Jordan Travis went down with an injury in the second quarter, backup Tate Rodemaker threw 2 touchdowns. WR Johnny Wilson looked like a machine with 7 catches, 149 yards, and 2 touchdowns, and RB Treshaun Ward had a game to remember too, rushing for 126 yards on just 10 carries.
The time is now Tate.

As a Cards fan I want to congratulate the FSU team and hopes every one that got injured at the game recovers quickly. Also, want to thank the FSU team to help us get us closer to the firing of that country bumpkin of a coach we now have. As the losses pile up the pressure will get greater and our AD hopefully will have the cojones to pull the trigger. Satterfield is not the coach for Louisville and the sooner we can change coaches the sooner we will help the ACC ascend conference rankings. Once again, congratulations to all you Noles Fans.... a hard fought win and you deserve it. Best of luck the rest of the season.

I was on a couple Louisville channels before the game, and you guys are a standup fanbase. It was a helluva game, didn’t go at all to script, but definitely hard fought all the way. Best of luck with the turnover and reset… it’ll be a bit of a rebuild doing roster and staff at the same time, might means a tough couple seasons, but keep your heads up, rooting for y’all to get it right.
Be careful what you wish for. You dump a coach, you will more-than-likely lose your top committed recruits presently on your board. The new coach--if he works out, will likely have 2-3-4 years of culture issues---complete roster change is usually needed--HC contract payout costs--new coach contract costs--just a mess. We at FSU NEVER could have imagined the mess we were headed to just a year or two after winning a national championship.

Great win. In years past the adversity would’ve been too much to overcome but this team continues to play hard and find ways to win! Props to Rodemaker n Johnny Wilson and to our DC Fuller since he n his unit closed the game out strong with a stop n then the int on the next drive they had. Feels like Christmas lol, so grateful for Coach Norvell n this program for making all of us proud with their character and work ethic!! Can’t wait to see it all come together, go Noles!!!

The offense wasn't the problem it was the defense that let a team Syracuse destroyed score that many points. If the QB didn't get hurt scoring more wouldn't of stopped Louisvilles offensive . It didn't matter tonight but against better teams it will if they can't stop them

Let's go Noles! The LSU win last week took it out of us and it showed. Our offense is pretty good. They were very aggressive. Our depth on defense and FG kicker might be our Achilles heel.

I like to think Tate probably read all the tweets about him at halftime. He made good adjustments, settled in, and did what he needed to do. If we need to sit Jordan out and let Tate play BC next week, he just needs to play just like he did the second half. Good game to Tate, and good win Noles.

The ACC commissioner needs to fire or publicly hold the ACC refs accountable. There’s a holding which negated a drive against FSU, on a player nowhere near the play. A pass interference against Louisville which wasn’t. But I can watch Pittsburgh DB’s hold WVU receivers before the ball to them and no PI. You had a face mask where the review showed no face mask pull. If they don’t see it they call a penalty and when it’s a penalty say Robert Cooper being 1 yard away from Malik Cunningham and being hooked isn’t holding. But a guy on the opposite side who’s not held is holding? it Either create a challenge against bad ref penalties or get rid of them. They’re are all terrible and mess up good games.

Can't say that yet, but Tate's shined in practice. The guy was never far off from Travis until he got under the lights and laid an egg, up until the 2nd half of this game. Has definitely been a mental battle for him.
Maybe he realized it was time to "nut-up or shut up" with this performance. Would be great to see him continue developing in the game setting and kick ass.
