Joey Merlino criticized notable mobsters Sammy "The Bull" Gravano and Michael Franzese, suggesting they altered their lifestyles only once they faced indictments. I have to respect a man that sticks to his principles. John Gotti basically was responsible for destroying the mafias power in NYC, he was reckless, careless, and broke many rules. But he stuck to his principles and never cooperated and took his punishment, died in prison. Joey seems to be the same way, no matter what you think of these guys, at a minimum you have to respect that type of dedication to life principles…no matter how flawed those principles may be.
