Hey there! We're assuming you're talking about the Ebow Jon uses on his guitar. Ebows are rad and if you play guitar and have never used one definitely go check one out! Essentially, you rest the Ebow on two strings and then the middle string in between the two that the Ebow is resting on vibrates using electromagnetic string resonance! It allows you to hold out notes as long as you want!
