The animation is definitely on to something... It is basically her story. At the start as a little girl, how she came to a foreign country to chase her dreams and then in the middle, realising how people can raise you up but also tear you down. At the end, she is tired and all alone but she realised that all you have is yourself and you have to stand up tall like a Giant and rise above~

She's fought like hell to be where she is, and she's not stopping any time soon. She is strength, and I really feel that in this song. What a gift.

I kinda love that the animation forces you to listen to the lyrics. So often we focus on the idols themselves, the outfits, the sets, the choreography... and kinda glance over what the song is trying to say. In this (and in BONNIE & CLYDE) Yuqi is making some strong statements and put her lyrics and voice first. I'm sure she could have filmed something quick featuring her at a cheap location, but I think that's missing the point. Even on her solo, Yuqi isn't making this about her, but about the music. Tell me that's not inspiring.

Actually, it's not quite correct. It's how Koreans pronounce her name, but since she is Chinese, Yuqi's name should be pronounced somewhat like Yoo-chi (just check out pinyin, I don't think English has a right sound to represent the qi). But yeah, he did well with the Korean pronounciation ^^
