2 years later and this tutorial is still golden! bought the kit on amazon hoping to find a tutorial to help me and you delivered! helped me add a 2TB SSD to my Mac mini home server without removing the built in HDD. Thank you!

I replaced the HDD on my old Mac Mini late 2012 with a OWC 1TB Mercury SSD and it worked perfectly.
Now I’m tempted to add a second SSD and I know this model of Mac Mini can take two SSD drives.
    Here’s my question.
Can the Mac Mini late 2012 take high capacity drives?
I have a 1Tb already installed as my primary drive and I want to add a 2nd drive with 2Tb.
Will the Mac mini be able to handle that?

      I don’t see why not, it’s a storage so it shouldn’t have a limit.
