God in flesh is a mystery (1 Timothy 3:16). Why?
Micah 5:2 makes it very clear that Jesus of the New Testament was the same one who appeared in the Old Testament. Jesus also said clearly that He appeared to Abraham (John 8:56-58). However, the scribes under Herod partially quoted Micah 5:2 in Matthew 2:5, causing New Testament readers to miss this great truth.
God is a Spirit (John 4:24), thus invisible (Colossians 1:15), and His nature is unfathomable. He lives in unapproachable light (1 Timothy 6:16).
Such a great God expressed Himself visually to perform Creation (Colossians 1:16-17). His first visible expression is termed “the firstborn of all creation” in Colossians 1:15. Paul was talking about Jesus as the God’s first audio-visual expression that performed the Creation.
God named Himself Jehovah (around 1500 BC) when Moses insisted on a name. He never had a name before. Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob did not know the name Jehovah (Exodus 6:3). So, it is not difficult to conclude that Jehovah and Jesus are the names given to God’s visible/physical expressions.
Now, what is the mystery?
• Since the beginning, God has been appearing and disappearing, similar to a resurrection body, not like our flesh. This is not a complex process for Him.
• The important thing we see is that none of His physical appearances ever prayed to someone in Heaven.
• But in the case of the Babe of Bethlehem, it is completely different. This is not about appearing and disappearing. He had to be born to a human, live as fully human, die as a human, and then resurrect Himself.
• This required a completely different plan that is difficult to comprehend. Concerning this, Paul, after meditating on the Old Testament for three years at the mountain of the Lord (Galatians 1:17-18), called it a great mystery (1 Timothy 3:16).
• To fulfill the task of the Lamb of God, God continued as Father in heaven while an offspring of Himself was conceived as a babe in Bethlehem. That offspring is termed “Son of God” and also “Son of Man.” It is a mystery.
Some of His visible expressions include:
• A burning bush
• A finger writing on a tablet or wall
• Someone (mediator) sitting/standing at the right hand of Power (Matthew 26:64)
• A lamb as it had been slain
• Jesus coming back again
• In the new heaven and new earth, we see the throne and the Lamb (Revelation 22:3)
In heaven, you will always see a central throne (Revelation 4, 5), but you will only see lightnings and thunders, not a person on it. But you will see His appearance (Jesus) on the right hand of that power. Not only that, you can also see Him appearing as the Lamb as it had been slain.
Most interestingly, what we see in the new heaven and new earth is only the throne of God and of the Lamb.
So, it is foolishness to limit God’s power and His omnipresence. It takes eternity to fathom Him.
We must be humbled by the fact that we worship such a mighty God who is beyond our understanding, yet He is our loving heavenly Father.

In Christian theology, “person” does not mean physical presence or a body but refers to attributes like intellect, will, emotions, and the ability to relate. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are distinct persons who are always active, always existing, and always One.
The idea of “roles” or “forms” is misleading because it implies God changes or alternates between modes of being, which contradicts Scripture. The Bible consistently shows all three persons of the Trinity acting simultaneously:
• At Jesus’ baptism (Matthew 3:16-17): The Son is baptized, the Father speaks from heaven, and the Spirit descends as a dove, clearly showing all three persons active at the same time.
• In creation (Genesis 1:1-3): The Father creates, the Spirit hovers over the waters, and the Word (the Son, John 1:1-3) is the agent of creation.

@sureshvanguri8014 I believe in Bible that don't ignore Old Testament revelation of God of Abraham whom Jews and Muslim believe. For me, God is Spirit thus invisible God and thus omnipresent. Jesus is the visible expression of the invisible God (Colossians 1:15). Read Micah 5:2.
