@@AW33406 A tsunami can have multiple waves and last for hours. Add a few hours on top of that for rescue personnel to arrive and the fact that the door does not stay above the water line, as we can clearly see in the video, and the person inside could easily suffocate before being rescued

Thicker more water proof, even if broken, glass is best... Better yet a slide down thick steel sealing plate back up in place to react if sensors detected a broken window... Could a person be reasonably expected to survive being bounced around in that? Then, if they're dragged miles out to sea, who will rescue them? If the tsunami was that huge, rescue services (what are left) will be overwhelmed dealing with the injured and destruction on land. If you're out to sea in an orange ball, help might not arrive.
