Was Antfrodites stance against destiny that people should be able to get scammed because that's a life choice they make. And people who know better, shouldn't get involved and try to prevent people from getting scammed by informing the uninformed?
Whatever his stance is he is a scumbag. He knows what he does is BS but he is gonna get in someones face all aggressive for calling it out.
I think he was basically claiming that it's only penny-ante scamming, which makes it "entertainment".
I'm sure for many people, psychics are just that.

Man NA is so weird when it comes to religion and/or other supernatural shit. Antfrodites is very clearly praying on the weak who might need genuine help. He's doing so to enrich himself. Why is it so hard to admit it? I dislike Destiny but he's absolutely right. There have been a million dollar prizes for anyone capable of reliably showing ANY paranormal abilities WHATSOEVER. Every attempt has failed. All of them were cons. 100% failure ratio over 3 decades.

The people that would rather press the button than just speak to the driver are probably the least well adjusted to functioning in society. At the end he basically said that he wasn't a psychic, he just naturally has more intuition than other people which is perfectly believeable. There are definitely people with more intuition than others. I was kind of waiting for someone to call him on it.
Honestly if he just took the psychic label off and said he was giving advice, perfectly fine. I've personally never been wrong when giving my friends relationship advice, but not because I'm psychic, just have a certain level of intuition I guess.

so ive watched ant since he was 10-20 viewers average. he did tarrot and talked bout how he liked sailor moon, and how he was psychic. i believed him for a short while until i noticed the people being banned in chat. like of course there is trolls and ban them 100%, but then people were asking him questions bout his "psychic abilities" and the mods banned them immediately, so i figured id ask too. I asked "how often would you say people have said your wrong" he read it and then accused me of creating multiple accounts to harass him? he was telling every mod to report me for it, and i know for a fact my account wasn't banned, or anything because i still have it to this day and im still perma banned on his channel. which i mean good riddance. i also met another streamer who had beens friends with him and was critical in discord dms, and he told me he was blocked. sounds like he cant take criticism?
When Destiny is using these "extreme" cases he is just checking if the statement still stands true no matter what you put as the case.
The way to do this would be to first choose a situation; Let's say that ALL people are taller than 4'5. This is not true because there are people that are shorter than 4'2, although it is a minority and is considered being a midget. This minority would be the "extreme" case in Destiny explanation.
Idk why I did this tbh but it was actually bothering the fuck out of me by hearing them say that just because it is an "extreme" case they could ignore that and the equation / statement would be true.

Revolio Clockberg Jr. incorrect, we use hypotheticals constantly to test the latency of negative circumstances to prevent hazards from happening, criminals from getting away with felonies, people from getting injured or killed, or small things such as how to fairly prosecute in effect in comparison to other more dire prosecution in case of minor crimes... these are just some minor examples, if we structured our legislative thought process off of what we know and not what we can envision then we would be in for so many more catastrophes. In my country we have Universal Healthcare and we pay less than you pay in America right now. Cause we pay it through taxes, you pay private. Even if you get it through your employer, in the end you pay through your paycheck. A single payer system favors literally everybody, except the healthcare companies and the politicians they bribe to oppose it.

American doctors have better outcomes for similar situations in emergent situations. American health outcomes fare worse simply because of how much less healthy of lifestyles people live. America also funds FAR more research and development in the medical field than any other country. America alone has more citable research/medical documents produced per year than all of Europe combined and twice that of China who is number 2. Other countries then get to incorporate that knowledge into their own healthcare systems basically for free; we are subsidizing their healthcare advancements. The major reason private insurance has gone up so much is because hospitals are charging private insurance companies more to offset loss of revenue through Medicaid/Medicare patients (a hospital pretty much breaks even in these cases or can even lose money; this loss is passed on to people who pay for private insurance).

In my country (Asia) "psychics" are so common that when my dad's car got stolen he contacted a shaman who in turn successfully pointed out (and angrily so) that the car wasnt stolen, turns out dad got drunk and parked the car in a weird place. There were many other unexplainable occurences and success stories with monks/shamans happening to my skeptic friends and non skeptical family members etc. Now what Ant is talking here is that the shamans/psychics wont be able to give accurate coordinates to the location of the car, but he can guide people to the "abstract direction" of the car if that makes sense. In this case the shaman specifically said "are you toying with me the car is right under your own damn nose"
BUT there are indeed too many scammer psychics/shamans and even in my country a lot of people do get scammed. Our family however has a trusted shaman that has been very consistent. I dont know if Ant is a scammer or not though but the way he talks about spirituality seems legit in this video
