What is Works Deluxe? AirNZ flight review

- Welcome to another weekly trip report/ flight review! Today I fly on NZ109 from Auckland Airport ( NZAA / AKL ) to Sydney International Airport ( YSSY / SYD ) operated by Air New Zealand's Airbus A321NEO ZK-NNC. In this video, I review their works deluxe product which is available on trans-Tasman and Pacific Island flights operated by their Airbus A321 and A320 NEO aircraft. I also discuss whether or not it is worth upgrading from the works.

Awesome trip report mate and some excellent captures too on the tarmac back in Auckland! I reckon your assessment of the Works Deluxe product is pretty spot on i also flew works deluxe from Auckland to Noumea last year and it was a throughly enjoyable flight service was outstanding, food was great, drinks plentiful and entertainment both through the IFE and out the window was solid. Only Slight side was the utility of the spare middle seat was somewhat reduced by unrectractable armrest. Look forward to seeing more of your flight reviews!
Thank you! You must have been in row 1 because from memory these armrests were retractable? Very sad they're getting rid of this as it's a great product!

works deluxe sounds like an acronym for business class as like british airways do
Well it's a more premium version of the Works (normal economy), it's not premium economy as the seats, food and beverages are the same as economy or business because there is also no lounge access included. I guess it is like the hard product of some inter-european business classes

Great report, but as an aside, it’s Deluxe, Dulux is a brand of paint, kind of grates on the ears.
