Glad to see Mario Kart 7’s still getting some appreciation. I’ve been enjoying it a lot myself over the past few months and while I really enjoy it, I can understand why it might be hard for many people to go back to with the game’s slower pace and outdated hardware. (The fact 8 Deluxe’s competitive meta is effectively the opposite of 7’s top combinations but it still has a lot of 7’s courses really says a lot about this game, unfortunately.)
Wow these tracks and characters look so good! Some very creative ideas there for sure (like the Painted Swampland track and the Nintendo Arcade rabbit as a character), so kudos to all the folks who worked on them. Excited to see what else this pack will have in future

@@jclkaytwo I was kinda wrong for the Mario kart 8 tracks part but there are two tracks with antigravity. Both are from the cups added in the latest update. DS Rainbow Road and most importantly Roulette Road. The antigravity works like it did in Mario Kart DS. Not actual antigravity, just loop-de-loops.
@@L-etth ah makes sense. yeah I didn't expect them to be able to implement full anti-gravity like in 8. but it's still super impressive that they got the loop working, since that seems to be impossible in wii.
The community of MK7 modding is really really great! As a member of the CTGP-7 Discord and actually doing the blue coin challenge, it makes Mario Kart 7 1000x better!
I think DK summit can be improved by maybe adding boost panels at the end with the snow or a glider its just not as amusing with out the half pipes or the shy guys

I wish CTGP-7 online in either mode supported/allowed 3d to be used, but instead, the "render optimizations" are forced on, and those disable 3d support. I know not everyone cares about it, but I want at least the option to control that even online. I've never even noticed any improvements in how the game runs from it in offline, so I don't really understand why it's forced on.

They actually made the loops in DS Rainbow Road work, and it looks near identical to how it functioned in MKDS.
It's a shame that the Loop in MK7 working better than MKWii.

I love 7, its one of my favorites modded. The only thing I can't understand is why the base game never had a versus mode and you could only do cups

Really cool update to an already fantastic mod! Castle of Time and Miku’s Birthday Spectacular especially got some good upgrades.
