Speaking of London. Carrie sold out Royal Air Hall in 90 minutes. From what I read, Carrie was totally shocked when she heard that. And the audience was surprised by Carrie's show. I think they were expecting something different from Carrie then they saw. They showed clips of her performing. And Carrie came out and just started singing and she had no extra props on stage, like she does here. But when Carrie showed off her power after a couple of songs, they finally realized how good Carrie is.

This is so cool! Also, I noticed that the country station is nearly all males too and few women. The hard rock one is even worse now, like 100% men only. I think she makes waves worldwide not only bc her voice is amazing, but her song/lyric choices are always great! I couldn't listen to the station anymore bc it was like "beer, girls, pick up trucks." But mostly the beer/girl stuff was annoying to me. I tried showing Carrie in this one group in the UK, and two people weren't agreeing me on anything anyways, but were like "they don't like Americana" and Simon Cowell's product from reality show, and exploitative "capitalism" etc. I said it is like a scholarship contest but they don't get it. Well, with her subject manner and vocals, she can go a lot further than other country singers! Also, maybe they don't like the accent?
Carrie broke that barrier also. Carrie first London show sold out in 90 minutes. Even though the fans weren't as thrilled as I thought they would be, but they weren't expecting Carrie to do the show without all of the crap. Carrie just stood and performed, which caught them off guard. Seeing her on TV is one thing, but experiencing Carrie live and in person is another thing.
Carrie can't explain it. But I can, and it is so simple. The reason, Carrie gets most airplay over other women in country. Carrie is just so good. Idol opened the door for Carrie. But that is all Idol did. Carrie just took it from there. Her first album may have done really quickly, but it was done quickly because she is that good. I don't think if another artist did that album. Arista won't finish it on time.

I'm a strong woman who has been thru hell and back. I'm still surviving, but I just lost my little furbaby dog and couple of weeks ago. I can't get over it. I've lost 3 other dogs years ago. I had LayLay for 11 years and I can't let go. I've lost my whole entire family and now my baby girl. I'd like to find a stuffed animal that looks like my LayLay and cut a slit in it and put my baby's ashes in it and sew it up so I can hug it all of the time. I can't seem to find one that looks like LayLay. She is a poodle/terrier mix. Any help as to find one like her.? I love your music and you
I love your music and down to earth you are. I've seen you since American Idol. You are so special. I'm so glad for your husband and kids. My LayLay was my child....no she is gone. I'm trying to find a stuffed animal like her, but can't and can't afford it. Vet took all of my money 3 times to try to save my baby, but no luck. I did see the dog on "A dog;s journey" that is coming out on May 17th. The poodle/terrier is a spitting image of my LayLay. I can't seem to find a stuffed animal like her. Do you know of anyone that can help me.? Please! :)

I thought this was an episode of VH1/CMT Storytellers, not a boring talk show.
I think women are sacred in music to take on Carrie. And get into country music. And media has a habit of saying. Is she the next Carrie Underwood, which is unfair to the young women. Especially, some one like, Laurie Alaina. While she was on Idol and saying she would be successful as Carrie. Laurie is younger than Carrie, give her a chance to carve her own career.
They are sacred of going against Carrie, because Carrie is that good. And most young singers know that. I would take Carrie over Taylor anytime, that contest isn't even close.

christopher jones Carrie doesn't catchy songs like "Shake It Off" to get attention. Carrie sends message to young people. Carrie just does it in a different way. Carrie doesn't target any particular group, she wants to reach everybody.

I am a HUGE Carrie fan! And, she helped induct my all-time favorite, Linda Ronstadt, into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. She sang, "Different Drum," fantastically.
I don't like it when people diss Taylor to build someone else up.
christopher jones I know. Carrie is simply better than Taylor. No, I am not diss Taylor to build up. Taylor may have sold more records than Carrie. But Carrie is simply doing it in a different way. Carrie could go into pop music and do very well at it. She just doesn't need to. Not with 24 no. 1 singles to her credit. And "Dirty Laundry" will be no. 25. Every time, Carrie puts a single out, it goes no. 1.

When interviewers do an interview. Person being interview should do most of the talking. Like Carrie did most of the talking, which is why she was in the first place. Carrie, just being Carrie.
