@TheNoviceModeller I have started a pair of PZL P11s, one is an old Revell and the other is an even older Polish kit (very rough). I have a pair of PZL P23s lined up after that. I have found some Dutch kits but dang they going to leave a hole in the pocket!

Hi Andy. I joined you early this year , March I think, and have enjoyed your rollercoaster ride back into this hobby. Your enthusiasm is infectious and I think that is what is appealing. As you know some of us (me) have been making models for many decades. My accumalative knowledge is what makes me interested in what you buy. Some of the kits you have bought have been real dogs , like the 4 Polish one's that guy sent you. Please do us all a favour , keep them. You have also bought some really lovely kits . The last two that you posted being being prime examples. I to have a ME 264 , the same kit as yours but I bought mine when it came out so it didn't cost me as much as yours. All of the ancillaries that you have bought is a common mistake , some are great and get used many times and others you might use once and then they sit there collecting dust. We live and learn. But at least now you have them so you may get round to using them. You have bought some really useful books too. The Panzers colours series and the DAK one's are my go to books on this subject. The series of videos you have done on nations aircraft were a good idea. I particularly liked the Rising Sun one. I also like that Hasegawa 'Frank' kit. You have said yourself that you now have enough kits to see you to the end of your life , that may be so. But you will as you get better at it realise that these kits will need more time to complete. I now don't rush my kits. There's no point. Take your time. Some of them like the Scammell tank transporter will take you at least a month if you do it right. Your choose my next build idea is a good one but you will only make one out of 4/5. That still leaves you with a load to do. Thats good but do think of your workload , it matters. This is where a lot of people just lose interest in their kits. They will come back eventually. I like you are still enthusiastic but for me its about juggling projects over available time. You have your work to think of and other things in your life that demand your time. And there is that word again 'Time'. Its the one thing we all use but never seem to have enough of. I really enjoy watching your videos with your success's and failliers and your impending problem with alcoholism. I hope my advice and tips help you in some way and my knowledge on some subjects interests you.I also hope that you managed to watch that video of the London show and saw some of my work , the Matador is on the wooden block. So I wish you more success and more builds in this new year , lets see how many you have done by this time next year. So happy new year to you Andy and of coarse "Good Luck Bud". Take care mate.
Hi Brian Please remind me where the london Show Matador can be viewed. oh yes some of my kits are dogs, though recommended by viewers as such and waiting in the wings for the return of the "is this the worst kit ever" vids. The kits in "You choose" vids are re-cycleable over the course of 10 years they will reappear again, ie the unpicked tanks from the recent set will now be included in U.S, Brit, Russian selections, it may be 2 years until they re-appear so they will be re-reviewed, many of the aircraft have multiple decal options. i am still trying to figure out the "time" aspect of all this and how best to commit my "time" and how much of my "time" i want to commit to this RUclips project, no doubt it will change through the seasons and years but thats fair.
When I was a teenager I always used to go for level 5 modelscand take them home and complete them. With the instruction manual their surprisingly easy.
LOL show off. i think the likes of Revell and Airfix who show a 1-5 skill level are just being cautious/helpfull, if you to compare them to a say Miniart the Miniart would be a 10.

Santa was kind enough to gift me these tamiya universal carrier and pink panther 1:35 ,academy space shuttle and boosters ( no idea why 🤷♂️🤣),airfix Rommel a Hal track , academy p-38f lightning “glacier girl “, pub-5a Catalina seaplane by Atlantis and other bits and bobs so should keep me busy for a bit . Happy New Year @guitarsngoldfish8276 i think possibly the Market Garden build Horsa Glider, its far from perfect but the glazing is the best i have managed so far and the paint looks really good, though TBH the varnish is too shiny for my liking, was also delivered on time, I am enjoying building this PZ3 though and its looking like it might come out pretty reasonable. Though i am also deeply attached to my mk22 Ventura spitfire even if it is goddam awful, it taught me a few things about RUclips, my Starkit Mustang for laughs and the utilisation of my Black & Decker Sander and also the Testors Mk 22 Spitfire for the insanity of building a kit in 1 min 35 secs. Thats 5 but 3 of them in reality are crap LOL.

Gute morgen skipper ! Congrats on the viewers stats ! I have a pile of expensive modeling magazine I used to buy before modelling went fully online , it was like a bank of pictures of models and planes, and of course it became obsolete in time.
@KLOSTER777 LOL the Mig Jimenz books/mags are pretty much untouched and were WOW expensive, though i reckon when i get down to some serious kit building they will be very usefull, may also give me the possibility to utilise them for novice guides to various kit building strategies at some future point.
Looking forward to a good year on this here channel. When I came back to modelling in february last year I was certain I'd keep my stash at 5-6 sets or thereabout. Right. I bought 35 sets, were gifted 8 sets and built 7 sets. Math kinda qiuetly went sideways at some point. I have however declared to myself that it is all fun anyway so bring on 2025. And if I may ask, how 'bout a group image (or images) of all the boxes you aquired in 2024?

Lets see , 1 minute 30 seconds to build a 1/72 airplane , you should be able to build the airfix Victory in 5 minutes and the Tamiya 1/350 Yamato in half an hour (with the detailing photo etched set ! ) . No time lapse video necessary , a live build would be faster . 😊

Thanks @steve1315 been an interesting 10ish months. you know i dont actually remember the original so no on the remake also. I am thinking the red will be a bit average, i am know expert but £11.99 well it aint no vintage LOL.
Lets see , 1 minute 30 seconds to build a 1/72 airplane , you should be able to build the airfix Victory in 5 minutes and the Tamiya 1/350 Yamato in half an hour (with the detailing photo etched set ! ) . No time lapse video necessary , a live build would be faster . 😊
