Dude, I never comment but I absolutely loved how you showed us how you post in bulk and especially loved you taking us through the financials. Great stuff!!!
Great video Ty! I loved seeing your process and hearing you talk through how you went about this creative idea. Appreciate you sharing the story, super motivating!
Love your videos Ty. The way you explain things are so easy to understand. Thanks for taking the time to share your journey to help others with the same dream along the way. I'll keep watching and learning. God Bless you and your family.
Yes, I made SKU #'s in CDP and just add the sku to the title.... then when I imported into eBay I went back and changed all the SKU's to a general sku "24HOURS" so I could run clear metrics on the project.
Penny's are easy...in fact, probably easier to run through with a penny sleeve. Top Loaders - it'll scan them, but the scratches on the loader become VERY evident. Thick Cards, hit or miss.
@@CHASINGTYWILSON yes that’s right. It gives you the images already cropped and if you flip over it will automatically link to front image for dropping into batch for CDP. its made my life so much easier. Also weird oversized stuff and photos, large slabs in a jiff. Plus black background on slabs makes them look better for EBay images. But I’m sure your way is good too. I just know first hand how much time you can burn without everything being automated as much as possible. Last question, why no penny sleeves on the cards while scanning or while storing?
I too was wondering about scanning vintage cards without them being in a penny sleeve. Do you have any issues with the scanner leaving marks in the card surface? What the secret to this? Thanks for your channel, it’s a big help!
Never had an issue. The 8170 and the older 7-series from Fujitsu are super reliable. Keep them clean with the waffle cleaners.... but truly, these scanners are amazing.
I have learned alot from your show(s). I love the idea and plan to do this on a smaller scale. I do use CDP and it's a great tool and highly recommend as well. My question is, when scheduling auctions through CDP, does it charge any additional fees? When eBay has schedule listings, there are additional fees. Is it schedule staggered and then it uploads into eBay like this to avoid the extra fees?
Nice ! I lived Montréal from 2002 to 2005 Before i went back to France In Canada i started to learn about cards I bought like 25000 but not all of them are good cards i stop buying in 2015 But i still keep my cards for grading some day I hope i will be able to sell a few like you Thanks for the vidéo !
@@CHASINGTYWILSON Thank you! I was telling about your videos to friends over here... I stoped selling cards on Ebay for many years i have a lot to grade but i just quit! I was selling Air Force patches for the last 20 years but i also quit! Maybe i will list again in a few years... Good luck and dont stop ! We love your vidoes in France!
While proficient with ebay and always improving I paid attention to your other video that highlighted some ways to get visibility with eBay’s algorithm. Well needless to say I have to start packing orders at 6 am every day now. It’s ridiculous. Also had to get a thermal printer. I had a $75,000 yr I think for 2025 a $100,000 or more is very possible. PS I knew I wouldn’t get the AG Skenes for $1500😂 😉
Quick question, do you often use ESE? Or do you primarily turn to USPS Ground? And, if so, why? I’m sure you’ve answered before, but have not seen that video yet. Love your content! Thanks for sharing this amazing information for other resellers!
I rarely use ESE because I've had poor success with it... but it's gotten better the last 6 months and in this case I had no choice. It's always important to note that my average transaction is $65, so I don't have a lot of chances to test ESE anymore.
@ yes, I too, have had unrelenting issues with ESE. There’s not much incentive aside from being competitive within the market (which is plenty of reason) to use it. I just went the other direction and jumped into $1.99/ea range lol. For the sole purpose of avoiding ESE, I’m about to jump closer to your price point. It can be brutal. Do you think it’s possibly the competition causing issues? I just can’t understand it. I’ve ordered 200 cards from eBay and each card arrived safely never having skipped a beat. Hard to understand how so so many people don’t receive cards. They should track publicly like they do our seller feedback, the amount of times a buyer has claimed a card never arrived.
Dude, I never comment but I absolutely loved how you showed us how you post in bulk and especially loved you taking us through the financials. Great stuff!!!
I appreciate that!
Really like your content man, good job!
really cool video.. I appreciate you showing us every step of the way.

Nice video. How does that scanner not mark or crease/damage the card?
They are pretty amazing scanners.
Your content is awesome! Keep up the good work, you’re close to your channel exploding.

That's awesome! Thanks for watching and for the purchases!
Picked up the 1960 Topps Sandy Koufax from your Marathon. Thanks for what you do.
Thank you for the purchase!!!
8:00 Good idea with the old top loaders
Absolutely!
I use same size as label to ship standard by using to seal it 🎉
Sweet!!
You drink more coffee than I do water 😅

He drinks so much coffee that he get more water (from the coffee) than you do from the actual, unadulterated H2O
@@modofatakOh no doubt.
He speaks my language. I drinks Pots as most peoples cups
Haha! I drink a LOT of water as well. Unfortunately I don't have any Water Shops to film in around here. ;-)
Do you have a video talking about where you get all these cards to sell? Are you only buying collections?

Breaking down combined shipping?
THIS is what the people want
Yes!!!!
I can see some goodies in those stacks
You know it!
Need more Mike Alstott
Haha! Mike has appeared in dreams. I need to finish off the Alstott's
What kind of scanner for this project?
V600 for Flat Bed.
Fujitsu 8170 for bulk.
Great Video Ty!!!
Thanks Todd!!
Wow I was really close. Time to finish up the video.
Did you make SKU numbers in Card Dealer pro so that you had times on each card to make it easier to find the card for shipping?
Yes, I made SKU #'s in CDP and just add the sku to the title.... then when I imported into eBay I went back and changed all the SKU's to a general sku "24HOURS" so I could run clear metrics on the project.
Question- with the Fujitsu 7180, can you run thick cards/ toploaders/ penny sleeves? I’m thinking about purchasing one
Penny's are easy...in fact, probably easier to run through with a penny sleeve.
Top Loaders - it'll scan them, but the scratches on the loader become VERY evident.
Thick Cards, hit or miss.
@ thank you so much.
I’m definitely going to get this done too. Wish me luck 😅
Good luck! :-)
Ty….biggest question? Was the juice worth the squeeze? Or would you do it again?
Absolutely! If I wanted to set aside the work, making $5k a day in profit ONCE a month is worth it. What are your thoughts?
Great video Ty
Great video Ty. Not for the faint of heart doing that
Haha! So true.
Ty for your slabs and bigger cards you for sure need the Fujitsu Top Scanner. Super Fun idea!! I may do some of that too!
You talking about the SV600? Curious why you think I need that. Let me know!

Here before this channel blows up

Pro move
Haha! Thanks Jason!
All those terrible condition vintage cards, I would 100% buy them, as affording some of those names is not in my boat.
