Hi, I'm a p100 knight main. Knight was nerfed in a lot of aspects but he is way better in other areas. Carnifex is way more spammable, and way more forgiving cause if they fake the pallet drop you can just cancel the ability and have almost no drawbacks. Assassin is way more lethal than before with the longer chases with patrol path lenght. Jailer is a big time waster, since he can last for ~20 whole seconds without being able to take the banner and do nothing else than running away from a laughing guy. You are still able to chase with your guards, people tend to forgot that the three times faster deplete timer is in a 8 meter ring, which is quite small in fact. And even if the chase timer goes down berfore the guard can hit, you still forced the survivor to go into a bad place for him if you have good movement / prediction. Jailer on the other hand can also be used in chase considering he chases for super duper long, the 3 time faster deplete rate is not such a big deal if you can just catch the survivor yourself. So his lows are still pretty low with the rework. But where Knight shined, with anxious zoning, to pallet denial or even wasting precious survivor time is way better with his rework. He is just way less forgiving and cheesy in some areas. They are still things to polish, the whole debate of the shared cooldown vs individual guard cooldown is kinda difficult for me to settle. I think Knight is fun, but he is way more fun today than before. Let's not forget that besides the strength meter you can finally play Knight without Map Of The Realms and add a bit more variety to his kit.
@@kazzuukie But also, like most other things in this game, indirectly makes the strongest killers stronger. Perks and game mechanics should counter the strongest characters, not just take the weakest ones off the board. Otherwise all you'll see is the strongest, which is exactly what happens at high mmr.
I main twins and their perks are in a pretty good spot rn. Oppression has a decent cooldown now. Coup is a good option for chases, and hoarder is great for synergizing with the current anti item meta.
im quite supprised what you said about the knight, the only thing i feel clunky about the knight is breaking insta drop pallets with carnifex. the jailer feels good to use for long ranged paths for longer distance, you can cancel the ability if they dont pick up anything in a path, and it feels like you have alot more choice to use the best gaurd depending on the situation. idk i had some really good games on night where you could keep multiple people distracted and cause alot of choas
I don't like hook respawn. I play both Survivor and Killer, but only played 3 game of survivor this update - Seeing hooks up that have sacraficed other survivors is kinda annoying and disapointing. I think survivors going to broken hooks makes playing killer more fun. Also it's lowkey a bit fun going against the gen glitch- for real. It makes you really need to be careful on rushing a death. I want it fixed so I can play survivor (I hate it on survivor), but lowkey kinda fun on killer a TINY BIT! :3 Good video. Thanks for the updates I didn't know about :)
Oh lol dude just admit that you are 100% survivor main, no one is going to believe you with comments like " i think its fun for killer when survivor runs to a dead zone where there is NO chance that the survivor can get hooked " So ofcourse you dont like hook respawn, cause it doesnt help the survivors.
@@_Lunaria they dont have to believe me. Just how I feel. Hook respawn suck on killer side imo.(And definitely on survivor side). I like thinking about what hook to use when about to hook someone and this removes that element from the game.

When I said "suck on killer side", I meant "as a killer, it's disapointing", I dislike it because it makes things feel easier and I liked the challange, I suppose. How I see it, deadzones call for 'slugging'. If they abuse it that much, leave them on the ground or bring perks to help you get to another hook. I think if it will be in the game, 60 seconds is a bit too fast. I know not many people would agree with what I'm saying, but I play for fun, and I still really enjoy playing killer. I get bully sqauds (I bring lightborn) and hope they don't sab my hooks, but in the end, I still have fun. I think the challenge of hook breaks add to the fun imo. I believe this is why I dislike the change.
@typervader I disagree, knight feels way worse to play now. Used to be my main but after the changes I've only played him like 2 or 3 times, the universal guard cooldown feels miserable to play with.
