Behaviour should just make a mod store that applies across all clients when they connect together where modders can upload paid skins/mods (with approval) and get paid while Behaviour takes a cut Win win
Its crazy that, if people say they want something in a game enough, both developers and players will add it in some form Except that developers can't just do it in their free time But any reason to make BHVR look bad for doing what the community wants, right?

What behaviour should’ve done is made official servers and a couple modded servers, and when they plan to do an event they can make an event for like $500 where the best entry goes into the game or something But then again servers are a big cost for any game so running extra servers just for modding might be really stupid from an economical perspective

Yooo I made the Jason mod you showed a few times in this video and I thing that modding kinda died with the private server. I remember waiting for the server to get updated after a dbd update as usual and it just... never happened.
for real? man your mod is goated! i've used it so many times!
@@SireK0zy unless i'm getting it confused yeah. I used the part 2 jason model from MKX whereas the other Jason mod used a model based on Part 6 jason
Quite a bit of mods for women's clohting.
More importantly, it makes to why they shut it down. It's interesting to hear about the impact modding had with bvhr. The closest thing I can think of is the competitions they run with cosmetics in the game. Hopefully, they could expand that.
they should add the scoops ahoy demogorgon it fits perfectly
I played on the private server, but none of my friends was gonna go through the hassle of installing it. Even if they were I would not be able to get 9 other people to play 2v8, and you dont even progress.
Bhvr needs a Jordan collab 💯💯💯💯 Dwight lookin toooo clean
The First Person survivor mod looks so fun. I kinda wanna use it... I wish there was a mode like it.
So if I have mod that changes perk color to rainbow I can get banned?
as far as i know this stuff isn't bannable. i see a lot of people do it. even streamers. but personally i wouldn't do it myself
@@SireK0zy ok thanks
Killer seeing the location of all survivors is the 2024 meta with all the aura reading 👁👄👁
I will miss mods forever 😔💔
Dude i want scoops ahoy demo to be an official skin. Also the first person camera for survivors should be basekit or a switch option
You sound like if mathieu cote did youtube instead of games, still some good content
But he's got a french accept though
Anyone know if theres a private server still up and running?
the old one died and pretty much has no chance of coming back the new one is in teh works
i do get why they removed mods but like bro, PLEASE I NEED THE ACE SKIN BRO ILL DO ANYTHING IM SO DOWN BAD FOR THAT SKIN BRO
Damn the trikster map IS so sick
absolutely my most favorite map ever. at least style wise
Haven't watched the video yet, but I’m pretty sure they banned modding because people were turning the tappers traps and survivors a glowing neon pink so it was extremely easy to spot.
yeah I talked about it in the video. i think it was reason #2 why they banned it
Oh hi. I saw me
Awesome vid man. I wish I wasn't a pleb and knew more about all the mods. I woulda been all over that.
Brother I've been referring to you too many times in my videos recently :) thanks man. Means a lot when its coming from you! If you're ever curious about mods and all this stuff don't hesitate to ask me on Twitter or discord
@@SireK0zy Haha maybe thats why you got recommended to me.
I'll definitely be looking into the mods
The ammount of oblivious comments about modding is scary. Is almost like they want DBD to implode due to lawsuits.
Not sure if it’s just me, but the Fabyrka map looks exactly like the Steel Mill out of Frank Stone!
Well, the name of the map means factory so it's no wonder it's so similar.
the red light district had a lot to do with the trickster as it was based off the menu background from the trickster
Using mods to make dbd have old lighting, props, survivor skins and animations made dbd actually fun again. The aesthetic was peak before they ruined it for allbright comp nerds.
Behaviour should just make a mod store that applies across all clients when they connect together where modders can upload paid skins/mods (with approval) and get paid while Behaviour takes a cut
Win win
Well Behavior likes having control over their money so I doubt it, it'd be unreliable and they like relying on their in-house artists
any link for the new private server thing ? Kinda interested in playing on it when it comes out
hope no ones's gonna get upset if i share it here. go to the discovery section on Discord and look for "eefernal fog"
I'd love to see another private server with many mods it was so fun
Love the content
Memories
Its crazy that, if people say they want something in a game enough, both developers and players will add it in some form
Except that developers can't just do it in their free time
But any reason to make BHVR look bad for doing what the community wants, right?
You're most likely not a fan of hockey, one could presume?
Are private servers coming back?
killer deathmatch looks SO fun though ugh
I’m not sure if I could agree that BHVR is just stealing mod ideas for the game modifiers.
like i said: it's their game and everything belongs to them. they take inspiration for sure and i doubt anyone will be able to make me not think this way. i used "steal" to make the video more dramatic lol
Wait so one time I was playing dbd mobile and this bill randomly started getting jiggy I was so surprised I was like did they add new emotes? I still don’t know was he modding 😂?
What behaviour should’ve done is made official servers and a couple modded servers, and when they plan to do an event they can make an event for like $500 where the best entry goes into the game or something
But then again servers are a big cost for any game so running extra servers just for modding might be really stupid from an economical perspective
If they capitilized on mods and added "cosmetic only" ones to the steam workshop, it really coulda been somethin
Can't make money off the steam workshop, the only thing that matters to behavior is making money off you, don't start trusting them just because they hired a better PR team
For the same reason there is very limited options to adjust sound volume. This would give an unfair advantage.
If I ran a game and knew people were modding it to have custom interesting and fun game modes, I would 100% take inspiration from them.
2B in DBD would be hilarious
First person would bring horror back to dbd ngl
Would be nice for a PTB or Customs option for Workshop mods
hmmmm such things are cool for single player games that are feature complete. for GaaS games it's just not gonna work cause it's gonna put BHVR out of business
If anything, having modded outfits would make people want to buy the other outfits in shop.
I like modded Lara more than the dbd Lara 😭
Same thing with Ada
You couldnt imagine it? That was my first thought of people using cosmetics to make the other side super easy to see at all times XD
i legit never even thought about it. all i cared about was making survivors look like killers and vice versa
Guess my faith in humanity is lower than I thought XD
i love how you pronounce longevity
Perk modification was another reason
Bubba vs. Tiny Bubba had me laughing too hard
If a skyrim modder modded dbd they would turn this into an rpg with how advanced modding has become
they copied stuff from the modding community but didn't copy the backflip animation too 😭😭😭WE NEED IT
