    You know, I'm an extremely casual Titanic history fan. But it only took me about 3 hours(ish) to browse through Wikipedia and a few other articles and Google pictures of the titanic before the disaster and the condition of it's wreck to get the general idea of the disaster and a basic rundown of the timeline, as well as some basic information on some of the key persons and what they did during the sinking, and what their fates were. After a few weeks, I was buying books on the subject and browsing through records of the British and American inquiries, as well as personal accounts of the survivors. All of this was rudimentary research.
    Apparently, the creators of this video didn't even do that, or couldn't be bothered to proofread their script, if they even used one, or do some basic fact checking. 30 seconds in and there are blatantly false pieces of information being dished out.
    This video is a shameful display of ignorance and ineptitude regarding the topic of Titanic's sinking, and I hope people continue to call these creators out on such poorly constructed videos.

    The V-break (from the middle) was proven that it could not have occured due to the physics involved. Anyone with a remote knowledge of physics can deduce that water came in the front of the shift via the front water tight compartments and filled. Gravity will pull the ship down and raise the rear as it does. Now as to whether the shipe broke in half while above the surface or while on its way down could be debated, I believe most of the interviews of survivors do mention the rear raising into the air and then settling again (due to the break).

    Didn't see a massive iceberg in time ,Too small a rudder and bulkheads only went half way up Full bulk heads and it wouldn't of sunk. And I know what I'm talking g about as I'm a city & Guilds qualified boat builder

    • @sabrinastratton1991
      @sabrinastratton1991 Год назад +5

      The rudder was normal sized for a ship that sized. Bulkheads going all the way up wouldn't have made sense structurally. Even IF the bulkheads went all the way up, it's a matter of bouancy, she still would've sunk regardless

    • @thekansan8683
      @thekansan8683 Год назад +3

      For the time, the titanic has a sufficiently sized rudder. Titanic could actually maneuver quite well for a ship of it's size.
