I plan to pull the .txt file from discord, comma deliminae it, separate it and use vlookup to return all the information from the list of modules spongebobsquareparents (in the discord) has created. sparse the data, verify accuracy and make public so everyone can do there own data analytics on it. I doubt i could find the same amout of stuff 5-10 analysts could find.
I'm a data analyst/coder. One thing you might want to consider that might make life easier is to create a microsoft/google forms for people to submit their stuff to you. Could make it so people use a dropdown to select the mods they used and what the result was. Also, it might be a good idea to have a separate sheet that includes stuff like the mod type (Battle/Attack/Cooldown/etc.) as I suspect that might be part of the mechanic along with whether the mod is a gun/descendant mod. Finally, it probably wouldn't be too hard to write a discord bot for people to make submissions such that it can ensure proper comma separation independent from user input (could be something like, user uses command /submit-combination, and the bot asks for user to type each mod used one at a time, then the resulting mod, and then the bot automatically stores the data comma separated) Also might not be too hard to code some data analysis on top of the gathered data to search for patterns as the dataset grows large enough (like, how often does the same mod combination gives the same result, and stuff like that). Pretty sure you could even drop the dataset into chatgpt and ask it to search for patterns.

One of the key conditions that I've seen others comment on (Reddit, YT, etc) for the recipe success is making sure that the mods being combined are the same socket type (cerulean, malachite, etc), which also seems like an excellent assumption to move forward on/reasonable variable to consider.

The only mod I actually care about for combining is SHOT FOCUS. you can only get that mod through combining. Its also a mod that +FIREARM ATTACK -SKILL POWER. so its great for non skill power focused descendants.
i would say its more likely the rewards arnt rigged. its just truely rng which tends to favor being unlucky with low rates. theres a big misconception that nexon messes with rates but thats not really true. nexon only made an upper echalon of rewards in a stat reroll option unobtainable in maplestory. the rates were all correct. that story got made way different than reality. it would be more like when resetting a weapon the stats are never gold. which we know isnt true here at least.
so u have theory there is a precise combination of modules to guarantee specific and consistent results? For example 4 hp collectors combine t give a shield collector? If so i look forward to the shot focus and shield collector recipes sir.
I dont know of this is helpful or not, however i find if i take for example 4 chill atk modules for general rounds and combine em i tend to get the same mod back for a different ammo type at a reaspnably high chance. Not sure if this is just luck or if its applicable to other similar mod types but figured i'd share anyway.

Actually reasonably useful if this is statistically significant when combining each type of mod with itself as it means that there is some logic that makes the combination a bit more deterministic.

Um yes is absolutely is random. I've combined the same combination of 4, in the same slots each time, and had something different all 6 times. One of which was even a rarity higher. It's completely random, you will rarely get the same thing by using the same mods.
... people who would just waste their time to troll are so scarce that their faulty data won't interfere with results. Ex: from 100 entries if 8 are troll, the result would just show something like: "from those 10 focus modules, one result is kinda funky where sometimes we don't get a focus back"
i dont know if its common sense or im just lucky but i think if you combine any 4 transcendent modules, the resulting module is for the character you are currently using. Maybe im just lucky i did this 3 times for my Gley to get blood and iron.

So what’s the fastest way to get shield collector? That’s all o wanted to know. Since the update they made overwhelming hp truly trash on Ajax now but although I went from 52k hp to 31k. My shield are now 30k! So it would be WAY better now for me to use shield collector over hp collector now since my hp is rarely breached and if it is I get double healing then from health packs still dropping off enemies while kills would recover shield over it. I’ve been farming hard mode devourer since he’s fast and always drops yellow and red mods. Ive been combining yellow and red. Is that the fastest way? Someone please help beveuse I’m furious my build got changed over night and now the key mod I need is something the developers don’t help you one iota on explaining how to even get it!
Fun tip, I personally tested 4 out of 4 times so far, when combining modules for the purpose of a red module, you are able to get a red module from just using two red ones (ascendant modules) along with two yellow modules. So far i have consistently been able to get red modules that way at half the cost of duplicate ascendant modules.
has a warframe player that has spend like 100 hours in this game we have a "transmutation" system (combine mods) and the way it works there is they take a table of the mods used say 4 gold mods then u get a 1/4 1/4 1/4 1/4 chance for gold this can be say 2 gold 2 higher/lower rarity then u get 2/4 for gold and 1 or 2/4 for this other kind of rarity i can see this just being them doing it like that making them care about "battle" or other text to add to that roll maybe even the kind of mod (impact general high or descendant) say u use 1 transcendent 1 ultimate(impact) 2 purple(general) u get a 1/4 for tranc 1/4 ultimate 2/4 purple then after that its "if trance gives trance" "if ultimate/purple role type 1/4 impact 2/4 general 1/4 descendant" feels like it makes since and might work with what we see but this is the idea i had from seeing combine in this game
You can use RUclips comments without copy and pasting. If the video belongs to you, you can query the RUclips API to get all the comments made on your video. Some RUclipsrs use it to get, detect and delete bot messages.
There is a vid on YT where someone put 2x overwhelming shield, 1x iron will and 1 potent collector as the recipe and got it. I tried it too but got a totally different mod (not even a defensive one). That said, when I combined mp collector & hp collector and some other descendant type mods (forgot which ones) I got another MP collector. So I'm guessing just trying for descendant type mods with at least 1 or 2 collector mods will give the highest chance, also maybe the Cerulean socket type. My guess it's all still RNG based, but you can up your chances for a specific mod family/type.

Maybe its minor usefull data, i was trying to get blood and iron trancendant mod from (obstructor boss) and got everything but that mod, in all desperation i combinded 4 trancendant mods from that boss drop table, and got blood and iron in return. So maybe mods pool is linked to that specific boss drop table aswell
Are you taking into account the order the mods are added? I highly doubt their system is built to care (if they have one at all). Ie keeping track of what mod was put in top left, top right, bottom left, bottom right.
An idea here. Would be interesting on checking on the drop rate of certain items and have an estimated number of how many times you would have to run the loop in order to get the item. Example, one with a 3% drop rate. How many times would i need to farm the item and fight the boss to guarantee im getting it to drop. That way we can have an estimated idea of the time it would take to farm something.

itll be good to get some real data on module combining loading screens say that theres a bias for similar slot type and modtype(battle/attack/etc) but ive had such a horrible time combining mods that i gave up and just dismantle them all now
Dismantle blues, fuse everything above it. You will rarely get yellows from purples, reds from yellows, and sadness from reds when they downgrade into yellows. You will usually get mods of the same tier and rarely get mods above or below the current tier. I would not mix module tiers, as I fear they would preferably result in a lower tier of module.
