    Some years ago, I did amounts of film extra work. I did several pieces of work on the TV series 'Lark Rise to Candleford'.
    In one of them, I and others played the parts of rail track layers. An extremely cold, wet, December afternoon hulking a rail into position, all the while singing the lyrics of the song... 'Oxford and Hampton Railway'. I'd never heard of it before.
