Really liked this topic Susan, considering how much filler/injections people get these days I do not hear/see enough of the other side if you change your mind or don't like it after time. I have seen enough 'horror stories' type content but I think that is way on the other side of the spectrum. Seeing people who liked their filler initially or for years even but just changed their mind seems like it must happen more than we think. Thank you so much for this video Susan!! And touching on the mental health issues that can often coexist with doing and/or overdoing plastic surgery/ Botox/filler
I don’t think fillers at a young age are necessarily bad. But some of this influencer girls and people in LA reaaaally over do it. I’ve been doing fillers since I was 22 and I’ve never looked insane. Then again I don’t go every few months
I am in my 40s and I have thought about getting a filler for my forehead, but not done any research or am ready to commit. I watched this video out of curiosity and learned so much. Susan you presented a lot of important observations like not changing yourself because you are in a relationship. That might be a mistake women dating younger men might make. I loved the last point that you ended the video with. Thank you for this informed and thoughtful video.
I can't imagine getting filler or having it dissolved. I actually never knew it could be dissolved. I know some people who have a ton everywhere and they just look like a plastic barbie. Not my thing. I appreciate this video because it is a curious topic. I'm glad these girls are starting to love themselves for who they are. They're all beautiful as it is.
I’m 35. I’ve been having Botox since I was 31 and I’m really honest with the younger ladies I work with. I have forehead scarring from an accident, headaches and fine lines. These ladies are too young. My coworkers are in their early 20’s and 4 of them are getting/have had lip fillers. None of these ladies have lost volume to need this. Some have had their speech affected, others look like they’ve had an allergic reaction form over filling. One of the ladies did have a doctor refuse to inject them but they found someone else. I wish their was more ethical and straightforward doctors like Susan’s doctor when she asked her facelift.
I’ve always wanted a nose job since I was teased for it by family but now I’ve grown to appreciate it. My late father gave it to me and both my children have it. I can’t imagine not looking like my little gremlin children. Guess I’m stuck with my wide nose 👃. 🥰
Most people who start getting filler do the same thing people do when they start putting on makeup… more more more and they don’t even realize how odd they look. The eye can just tell something is off
Thank you for this video, Susan! Love that people are being more transparent about their procedures and what we see on social media is not always authentic. Can you please film a video about different facial filler and what they target please😁
Question is, some say dissolving lips is not worth it, your own lips wont look the same and the fillers will go away itself by the time. Some recommend to dissolve every 3-4 years because all of the filler doesnt doesnt go away and its better to start from zero again. At this point I dont know what makes more sense😁
Susan, would you be open to doing a tear trough filler before and after pic? I’d love to know what you mean, but I can’t tell the difference and don’t really know what under eye filler does. Thank you!
Thanks for doing this. I asked you before if you would ever talk about fillers and I was hoping you wouldn't be offended. I'm interested in getting it under my eyes at some point. This has been very helpful. We are finally at a place where botox is no longer taboo to talk about. I can't wait until we can openly talk like about filler the same. Thanks Susan ❤
I did botox on my jaw to make em smaller I told my doc I want smaller v face and she pointed out my right side is wider n she needs more IU on that n I’m so grateful because she pointed out things I won’t even consider symmetry, I just wanted smaller face and I stick to her clinic w facials and laser. She gave me natural face and glowing skin :) Her staff was also very nice I told her I wanted to get rid of my age spot on my chest and it costs $500 and had to do several sessions but it’s not a lot, she told me the price and she asks ‘why do u need it? Don’t do it it’s not worth it’ haha I was thankful for her I was ready to give her my money. But I appreciate people like dat who don’t just hungry for money.
Please please please PLEASE make a video on getting PRP and/or PRF as filler🥺🥺🥺 nobody talks about it… it’s supposed to be natural and a better way to do filler and it lasts longer than hyaluronic acid😍
Thank you for posting about this. This was informative and revealing ...and a long overdue conversation that is rapidly gaining more traction.... annn d ...I am here for it. Merci!🇨🇦
Absolutely loved this one. I do wish to have filler in my jawline and this video has really given me a lot of insight on all of the issues that might come.
There ARE girls and women out there who are accepting of plastic surgery and injectables and do want honesty and transparency with influencers and celebrities. Unfortunately theres at least an equal amount who are jealous and insecure and maybe even hateful who dont want others "bettering" themselves physically. Which is really sad because in the end we should just want others to be happy. On a side note I thought the girls who got their lip filler dissolved look so beautiful with their natural lips. They really didnt need the filler at all. But i also get the instinct to want it and to want to continue getting more. It really can become somewhat addictive.
Thank you for being so honest about your procedures, susan. I like honesty even if I disagree with someone's opinion. If you want to get filers, you do you. I personally wouldn't get them. These girls all look beautiful, and it's so sad that they're insecure and think they need to get these things done at such as young age. Do guys get fillers done? I know women have more pressure because of celebrity and social media beauty standards, but guys get insecure too
Susan, I wish the Kardashians would watch your video cuz this topic really hits home for them. Meaning, they have so much filler in their face and it's gone on for generations in that family and it has totally changed their appearance from before to after! Thank you for such an informative video.
Hi Susan, I got my lips done 23 years ago permanently.I think with silicone there was nothing on the siringe I have lovley lips thank got ,the doctor was great and it was a 2 month procedure
Maybe it’s just me, but how did these people have money for this in their twenties??? I was living paycheck to paycheck and struggling to make ends meet. 😂
Also be careful with the doctor you pick to dissolve your filler. The doctor I found left me a hole/dent in my skin (the area where he injected) 😖I took 1 full year to make the area better.
Great video! It makes me so sad that people hate on these women for being honest about their cosmetic procedures. I'm curious whether, if someone got filler dissolved in one area, would it also dissolve filler in another area, say lips and cheeks?
Hey Susan you should check out The Victorian Cosmetic Institute here on RUclips. This Dr released a video recently on how he will no longer do tear trough filler for patients and explains his concerns with all the issues his patients have had in the past. He even gets technical and explains WHY some filler is going into an area it shouldnt, and how it cant be dissolved easily because of this, which patients want due to the filler giving the patient under eye bags. This is also the channel that used MRI to check patients to see of they still had filler in their face 5 yrs after getting any injected, and the results were surprising. (Im actually a MRI technologist myself and Ive seen filler in a patients cheeks when scanning her brain and it was very cool. I figured out what it was pretty quickly. Lol.)
how long does filler last? some youtubers say they've gotten fillers years ago but it's no longer there. so what you see if from skin care. wonder if that's really true if they've never had the fillers removed. thanks
Depends a lot on the person, our bodies work different, for some it dissapears completely after a few months, for some it sticks around for years in some capacity.
Altering your face shape before your brain is even done fully developing seems kinda extreme unless you’ve had some sort of injury or accident. Especially since young women tend to struggle with people pleasing. I’d hold off until you KNOW it’s for you and not someone who’s only in your life for a season. Also Susan this dark rich color you’ve got going on with your hair is SOOO PRETTY!!!! ❤️🥰
This was an amazing video!!! I know nothing about cosmetic procedures and seeing your reaction to these videos was so incredibly informative. It would be very interesting if you made similar reaction videos to different procedures. And the message you ended on was beautiful. Thanks!
Tbh, lip filler looks fake no matter how “natural” it looks. There is nothing like lips that move naturally 💯 This girl at the beginning, looks a million times better without filler. Just natural. Real. And it’s so noticeable. I’m glad she has gone back, that’s awesome!
I love this! Reminds me that I found a good practitioner when I asked them to “freeze” my face and they said “no”. Lol Still, everyone is entitled to get whatever they want done- these suggestions given are helpful in that respect as well.
Perfect timing! Can you make a video on hair care shampoo & conditioner; products to use for hair styling & tools ; all the hair things you used and can recommend. I really like your hair style , I think it’s perfect every time! TY!
Thank you for making this video, you said lymphatic massage helps to break it down, do you mean a lymphatic massage with or without the dissolver put in first?
can you do a video on how to go about doing filler properly if you want filler? i don't want botched lips but I have never done any cosmetic procedures
Once a dermatologist also explained that fillers dont just disappear, there might be certain amount of scarring left behind. So nothing is really zero risk. The last girl was really pretty, her story highlighted that lot of people turn to these things excessively to solve personal problems/mental problems.
I loved my filler and I stopped for like a year and a half cause I'm at like 6 or 7 mils on my lips. This is over a few years and I always get compliments on it, but I kind of want to start fresh 🤔
It takes 2-3 weeks for fillers to disolve ... Fillers fatigue is a huge issue when there are too many fillers done and finally ' Yes ' our natural hylouronic acid is affected by the use of hyalouronidase ....
i seen u had some dimples under eyes too. is there any way to get rid of undereye bags & extra fat there due to genetics without getting filler? maybe like a step before getting filler that lowkey works???
Injector hopping can happen if you move though and sometimes the injectors quit it’s happened to a friend of mine over 15 year period every six months that injector quit her line of work
Can you make a video on BBL'S and maybe you recommend some good surgeons here in Los Angeles. I love your channel and I subscribed with the little bell. PS would you recommend cheek implants over cheek fillers?
I think most fillers look strange and not that great. I think as humans we subconsciously pick up what's natural and what's out of place. With so many women trying to replicate Kylie Jenner and the thicc lips and thicc bod trend, I find natural beauty to be so rare and beautiful!
This video made me so so sad. Such young girls trying to fix insecurities with plastic surgery and fillers... Genuinely, people should just love their imperfections. Going to a doctor to fix them is just not a solution. There are so many other things to focus on and spend most money. So so sad for these girls.
@@rianne_9042 totally, like with everything in this world. I love Susan's skincare videos but I really have a problem with normalising botox and filler for any insecurities or imperfections you have, it's just a terrible option. We could be celebrating wrinkles and aging naturally, while doing great skincare. It doesn't have to go from retinol to botox and it seems like it's starting to just be a thing, as shown with these young girls. I for one am planning to have killer skincare routing until the end of time and a face full of wrinkles to show my age and wisdom. There really should be more discussion about why people are doing this to themselves when you see 19 year olds with completely changed faces.
It definately can be taken too far if the person has some unadressed psychological issues, I know a person who has had soooo much work done but she can't afford it, I'm pretty sure she is drowning in loans now but she was like that in school too, would starve herself just to save that lunch money and buy makeup. It's quite sad.
I am never going to juge a woman for getting surgery but just so that they know 9/10 it’s obvious so denying it like certain celebrities is ridiculous. The most obvious plastic/ cosmetic procedures are: 1)BBL especially if people knew you with hardly any behind or if you have a gigantic behind and tiny legs 2)Lip fillers- They look like you have an allergic reaction and it’s a very unnatural look 3)Cheek fillers 4)Botox Anything else if done by a good surgeon and with reasonable amount, you could look good like boob job up to a D cup for example or a small tweaking to your nose.
This is crazy, at First they all get fillers and after a 2 year boom everybody dissolving it…I don’t think fillers should be for young people, they don’t understand what they are doing and I think lot of them regrets it after but they are scary to say yes it was a failure to do it 😬 after you spend so much money…I hope it’s end of this era and girls start to be more nature and love themself how they are!🖤
I read so many comments saying that the you can "see" when people have gone through a cosmetic procedure and that "eye can just tell something is off". First of all no , people get procedures done that only make a subtle difference and you will never be able to tell , and secondly claiming it's "distracting" and people get addicted to it is bullshit. Also people don't get things done to please you , they do it to please themselves. And if these people aren't endorsing products when they claim to have helped they achieve the "plum lips" , "flat stomach" etc. your two sense don't need to be involved to say things like that it was "better before" , "you look plastic now" , "I could never do that to myself" etc.
I was always going to the same person until she left the place I was getting it done. And stopped doing it so I couldn't even follow her. So the last like 3 times I got it down I had a new person almost every time and I was so mad cause it's 4 people then who had all different technics and they don't look how I wanted anymore

They're all beautiful as it is.
this has to be one of my favorite videos - and it’s just for the message at the end. so amazing.
I could watch this type of series for hours lol hope you make more!
FANTASTIC VIDEO, especially when you really started to give advice
I’ve always wanted a nose job since I was teased for it by family but now I’ve grown to appreciate it. My late father gave it to me and both my children have it. I can’t imagine not looking like my little gremlin children. Guess I’m stuck with my wide nose 👃. 🥰
Your nose is so pretty!
And this is why I love you Susan ❤️
Most people who start getting filler do the same thing people do when they start putting on makeup… more more more and they don’t even realize how odd they look. The eye can just tell something is off
Susan I feel that doing contents like this differentiates you from others on youtube. Particularly for those who are 35+ ...this was a great video.
She gave me natural face and glowing skin :)
Her staff was also very nice I told her I wanted to get rid of my age spot on my chest and it costs $500 and had to do several sessions but it’s not a lot, she told me the price and she asks ‘why do u need it? Don’t do it it’s not worth it’ haha I was thankful for her I was ready to give her my money. But I appreciate people like dat who don’t just hungry for money.
Please please please PLEASE make a video on getting PRP and/or PRF as filler🥺🥺🥺 nobody talks about it… it’s supposed to be natural and a better way to do filler and it lasts longer than hyaluronic acid😍
Thank you for posting about this. This was informative and revealing ...and a long overdue conversation that is rapidly gaining more traction.... annn d ...I am here for it. Merci!🇨🇦
This was very informative and helpful. Thank you for all of the transparency.
Wow, this was a great episode of skincare reaction! Thank you, Susan!
A lot of them started on RUclips at a really young age and made their income that way
Susan, i really want to know what you think about botox lip flip. is that as good as lip fillers?
+1
It's subtle and only a few units are injected so it doesn't make much diff. Depends on what you want, I prefer filler.
Lol.)
Omg Toni looks so good without filler !!
I'm happy for this women, they look better now
how long does filler last? some youtubers say they've gotten fillers years ago but it's no longer there. so what you see if from skin care. wonder if that's really true if they've never had the fillers removed. thanks
Depends a lot on the person, our bodies work different, for some it dissapears completely after a few months, for some it sticks around for years in some capacity.
@@morgianasartre6709 thanks!
There is nothing like lips that move naturally 💯
This girl at the beginning, looks a million times better without filler. Just natural. Real. And it’s so noticeable. I’m glad she has gone back, that’s awesome!
exactly, even at Susan they are pretto visible even though she went for a way more natural look.
Getting under eye filler is not bad because without filler you hollowness make you insecure and after fill you feel not insecure so.. am I right ?
can you do a video on how to go about doing filler properly if you want filler? i don't want botched lips but I have never done any cosmetic procedures
Susan, you are the BEST.
Once a dermatologist also explained that fillers dont just disappear, there might be certain amount of scarring left behind. So nothing is really zero risk.
The last girl was really pretty, her story highlighted that lot of people turn to these things excessively to solve personal problems/mental problems.
Susan, that was a great video. Trying to meet someone else’s expectations will ultimately make us very unhappy with ourselves.
Hairdresser here and I agree on building a relationship with someone who works on me.
Just need to say Susan you are absolutely Glowing! 🌞💜x
Love that girl and this is a wonderful and very NEEDED video!
Mucho respect for your upfront honesty
They all look so much better and natural with the filler dissolved! Why they felt like they needed modification is beyond me.
i seen u had some dimples under eyes too. is there any way to get rid of undereye bags & extra fat there due to genetics without getting filler? maybe like a step before getting filler that lowkey works???
Injector hopping can happen if you move though and sometimes the injectors quit it’s happened to a friend of mine over 15 year period every six months that injector quit her line of work
Can you make a video on BBL'S and maybe you recommend some good surgeons here in Los Angeles.
I love your channel and I subscribed with the little bell.
PS would you recommend cheek implants over cheek fillers?
Amazing vidio 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 this just really helped ...great job xx
Please do a video about Linda Evangelista's experience with a cosmetic procedure which she had a horrific reaction to.
Would love to hear about nasolabial fold minimization through fillers!
I’ve never seen lip filler that didn’t look like tiny sausages
I really liked your look with the tear drop filler
Susan’s lips are so beautiful ✊🏾
Very true on the kid in a candy store with all these bundles promos. Eek. I’m scared to be subjected to that.
The jaw filler one… did they initially inject with calcium? It seems white in the syringe and I’ve heard that can’t be dissolved
I think most fillers look strange and not that great. I think as humans we subconsciously pick up what's natural and what's out of place. With so many women trying to replicate Kylie Jenner and the thicc lips and thicc bod trend, I find natural beauty to be so rare and beautiful!
Can I just say you have amazing eyebrows 🤩
Love my under eye filler I had bad bags so this was great for me.
The most obvious plastic/ cosmetic procedures are:
1)BBL especially if people knew you with hardly any behind or if you have a gigantic behind and tiny legs
2)Lip fillers- They look like you have an allergic reaction and it’s a very unnatural look
3)Cheek fillers
4)Botox
Anything else if done by a good surgeon and with reasonable amount, you could look good like boob job up to a D cup for example or a small tweaking to your nose.
love you Susan from South Africa
This is crazy, at First they all get fillers and after a 2 year boom everybody dissolving it…I don’t think fillers should be for young people, they don’t understand what they are doing and I think lot of them regrets it after but they are scary to say yes it was a failure to do it 😬 after you spend so much money…I hope it’s end of this era and girls start to be more nature and love themself how they are!🖤
I looove it sooo much!!! Thank you
OMG I love Alana & Gabi!!!!
It's crazy because none of them had small or unattractive lips. Heartbreaking how insecure we are now because of social media.
To each their own but these lip, cheek fillers look horrible. 😲
I love this video. Thank you.
The first girl's lips look sooooo much better!
Oh my gosh! That Toni girl. She sounded so different.
this was really interesting
I was always going to the same person until she left the place I was getting it done. And stopped doing it so I couldn't even follow her. So the last like 3 times I got it down I had a new person almost every time and I was so mad cause it's 4 people then who had all different technics and they don't look how I wanted anymore
Thank you for this video ❤️
