Svelvik Strait 4K - Shipspotting with a drone

- This is a video from Svelvik, a small town by the Drammensfjord. A popular place to see large ships making their way through the narrow strait that is here, on their way to or from the Port of Drammen. The Drammensfjord is an arm of the Oslo Fjord and the city of Drammen, which is also a neighboring city to the capital, is an important hub for transport by sea, road and rail. In the film, we see Spica Leader, a large vehicles carrier, on its way out of the Drammensfjord.
After struggling with issues with my editing software for a few weeks, which delayed this project, it finally seems to have been resolved. So hope you like the film.😊

Dette er en film fra Svelvik, en liten by ved Drammensfjorden. Et populært sted å se store skip som forserer det trange sundet som er her, på vei til eller fra Drammen Havn. Drammensfjorden er en arm av Oslofjorden og byen Drammen, som også er naboby til hovedstaden, er et viktig knutepunkt for transport til havs, på vei og jernbane. I filmen ser vi Spica Leader, et stort bilfrakteskip, på vei ut Drammensfjorden.
Etter å ha slitt med problemer med redigeringsprogrammet mitt noen uker, som forsinket dette prosjektet, ser det endelig ut til å ha løst seg. Så håper dere liker filmen.😊

Nice 👍🏻 we have these vehicle transport ships here on the Columbia River. It amazes me how little draft wake they put off. Almost no waves, but the bulk freighters produce huge waves along the shore. Nice share 👍🏻
Thank you very much! 😊 Yeah, since I live a bit inland I had to take this opportunity to film the ship as it passes this narrow strait. It's a popular site for shipspotters as well. Something fascinating about large ships for me as land crab. 😉
By the way; some days ago Oslo were visited by your largest aircraft carrier USS Gerald R Ford. It sailed in the Oslofjord, a bit further out than where this video was filmed. 👍
