It's called "Cry bullying".
You pick on someone and then complain when they fight back.
Sums up those who complain and demand the game developers to change a certain characters looks just to validate themselves... And they cry more and want to cancel the game developer for refusing their ludicrous demands.
Small hat mentality
That's pretty much reddit.
OMG I hate when people do hat LOL
I was going to say this. The thing that people seem to know less about is that this is literally a form of narcissistic abuse. What we are really dealing with is being in the crosshairs of people that do not have a normal emotional human connection. It's easy to make light of all of this but from their perspective, if you do not conform then they want to actually hurt you and even if you do conform then sometimes they still want to hurt you. The only way to deal with such people in life is to sever all connections, once they only have themselves to deal with then they implode.
I will not nor will I ever apologize for appreciating a beautiful woman in any form of media.
TRUTH!!
@@redpandafirefox9434same here. I’ll buy this game, enjoy it for what it’s worth including Eve, and there’s not a thing they can do to stop me

"Stop sexualizing video game women! Meanwhile, let me gush over my yaoi fan fiction of the boys from My Hero Academia."
All the more reason why this back and forth argument about video game women is ridiculous I don't have a problem with beautiful women at all at the end of the day and just a video game I do have one tiny criticism when it comes to the portray of beautiful women in video game is that most of the majority of them from Japan/korea always have the same body type which is a slim figure and a big breast there are plenty of beautiful women with different body types why don't some of these studios try to explore that
It really do be like that they rant and scream about how sexualizing women is wrong. But after they get done typing they pull up a bunch of dudes shirtless in suggestive poses.
Female fans are absolutely no better than male fans when it comes to being attracted to fictional characters. Especially if you’ve seen just how many female fans simp, fantasize, and drool all over attractive male characters (especially the ones with the Bishōnen design). They also sexualize male characters all the time as well.
Do not forget the moment they see two males share the same air and want both to rail each other for days
I hate fujos sometimes so much
And then cry when you criticize the softcore streamers on Twitch because having your hoohoos ready to pop out in front of teenagers is "empowering".
Remember kids:
Shaming attractive women is just as much body shaming as shaming unattractive women.
Yeah, logically, but there is a weird one-way gate with woke ideology.
So they insist on a double standard enforced with force and shaming tactics
@@keungwan5901 Yeah its true but shaming men for their height is one of them and that you acnt even change, they are just jealous i think and need a Valve to comprimise their uglyness your not automtaically bautiful on the inside when you are ugly from outside you can be terrible and ugly at the same time Incels get permanently shamed for it.
in their ideology, it's okay if its something they dont like
the fact they try to justify it too pisses me off. just because they're better off than you makes it ok? if they're not doing actual horrible things then theres no reason to be mean! sure i hate rich people but i also dont just go outta my way to attack em. i just stay away from em. these people dont understand that concept though. they hate something and attack it, they dont think to just ignore it and do their own thing. they dont know wtf co-existing really fugging means yet they plaster it all over their material possessions they then complain about because "fug capitalism"!
But that the thing, they don't shame attractive women. Only fictional attractive women. They have no problem with twitch thots showing underage audience almost naked melons of their.
Their problem, in it core, are not attractive women, but men getting access to attractive women without real women profiting from it. That's why they target gaming more than anything, because having fictional women doing things for men without "consent" from real women is something they hate.

This whole "you've never seen a woman before" argument is one of the stupidest things out right now. That's like saying Disney and Warner have never seen animals before based on how they designed their characters.
Worse even they used the body scan of a korean model aka a real woman
I can understand the outfit criticism though when it comes to the green outfit and some of the other ones I've seen in the trailer.
Ignoring the high heels, something I personally hate in general really, there is a bit too much going on with her main outfit. Was watching my friend play, the green outfit got too much going on and the ponytail too long as well. BUT she has other outfits that look fine such as what appears to be some kind of modern day jeans and crop top jacket along with some other outfit with a red....sweater?
Yeah outfit design got too much mini details too them, can be a bit visual clutter. The Beyonetta outfit at the beginning of the video got the same thing where 2B's is more simplistic.
Guess what I'm saying is, make it simplier, she's got a solid bod but the outfit details are doing too much.
@@VPT2This we can agree with, little details looks good when drawn on paper but when on a moving medium it become a distraction
The developer's wife actually did the clothing design and she is also very attractive btw. So apparently he HAS seen what a woman looks like. And women like sexy characters because they cosplay as them all the time. No girl cosplays as Birds of Prey movie Harley Quinn, but they all wanna dress like the first Suicide Squad movie Harley. Fun fact: that sexy Harley Quinn outfit was also designed by a woman 🤣
You just need to look at female artists in Twitch/RUclips/Instagram most women like and enforce sexy characters. The ones that complain are a loudly minority of insecure and jealous feminists
Same as most Leia cosplay is Slave Leia. The ratio of Slave to Trooper Leia is like 8/2. They know that the slutty cosplay draws in the most attention. And then they bitch and moan that pubescent boys sexualize them and try to touch them at conventions.

Only very few would cosplay BOP Harley and they're mostly uber fans of Harley in general (including the classic Arlequin one)
exactly. these activist forgot that the way girls play is that they actually insert themselves as the characters they play. so why the hell you make an ugly fat chick to begin with if its not to spite the women
Eve from Stellar Blade was not only designed using an actual human female as the model (look it up), but her outfits were designed by a female developer. IGN France didn't do their homework...again!
This is what is a common problem when people start complaining about stuff like video games nobody wants to do the research properly. I don't have an issue with beautiful women in video games but if I do have one criticism is the fact that most video game characters especially those from Japan/Korea is that they're mostly betrayed as having slim bodies and huge breasts now once again I don't have a problem with that because I'm fully aware that those types of bodies do exist in the real world I just wish we would see more different body types for beautiful women in games like for example bodybuilder or plus size
What, a journalist has to research on the topic they’re writing about?! What an outrageous concept! They shouldn’t have to waste the 30 to 60 seconds needed to find out basic information like this on the internet!

No. Twitter WAS STUPID when the censorship was biased against one side. Now Twitter is colosseum of ideas: you'll watch the same old stupidity, now exposed, WRECKED, mocked and memed.
This is another example of the woke media not caring if something is true or not. Eve was modelled after a real life Korean model, and the dev/head of studio HAS seen a woman as he is married to one of the artists on the game who is very pretty herself.
Right. Eve's face highly resembles his wife's face.
It's best not to take wokies literally. They're just virtual signaling their values as a battle cry to other wokesters. Look at Bayonetta, they claim that she was designed by a 12 yr old boy when she was designed by a woman. Wokies then try to turn it around by claiming that the designer is plagued by "internalized misogyny" It's all so tiresome. They're whiny sheltered babies.
And a woman designed her outfits like the skintight suit. A woman's touch is all over the game, but they're just bitter and jealous because they can't cosplay as her. 😤
The man is one lucky person. That is one very pretty wife, prettier than Eve.
Yeah, this... one of the main artists... is a WOMAN!!! They're trying to say a WOMAN doesn't know what women look like!!!
The hilarious part is Not only is Eve based off a real Korean model, but the character designer for eve and her outfits IS A WOMAN 🤣. This game is gonna be awesome
Damn, the amazing outfits from the trailer literally caught me of guard how good they were and I was like: I want that! 🤩
She has amazing fashion sense
Don’t you just love when their statement comes back to bite them and makes them look like idiots.🤣
Same for Bayoneta she was designed by a woman too and I believe that's one of the reasons they're backing down on attacking her, because they can't claim it was a horny dude who created her
Facts do not matter here, what matters is "STOP LIKING THING! ...and give my article more clicks while you are at it so the advertisers pay me for your clicks."
She’s a really pretty character I think the designer did a good job
It's sad that it's other women who put women down rather than the supposed "misogyny" gleaned from men. It's called "weeding out the competition" and women have been doing it to each other since the dawn of time.

"A doll sexualized by someone who has never seen a woman" my brother in gaming, the woman they have to model for Eve actually looks like that, as they even showed the woman modeling and doing the poses with the motion capture suit, too. Shin Jae Eun doesn't actually look like that. If she did they wouldn't modify the base model to begin with. So the irony is that the 3D scan of her body was modified for appeal, becoming more so fiction, while people keep saying that it's real and wasn't sexualized. Shits funny XD

I think the funniest part of that is them trying to claim Bayonetta and 2B as 'iconic' or 'feminist' when these same people literally bitched about both of them exactly the same way, were ignored, and then pretend they never did that. All of these same 'critiques' could be lifted from decades old Bayonetta or Nier: Automata reviews.

I remember people were FURIOUS over Nier's designs. Also people were mad about Bayonetta for being attractive, but there was a bigger backlash about the fact that she ends in a heterosexual marriage.
And ironically both fanbases are full of women plus idk Bayonetta, but 2B is one of the most tragic characters in gamming, she is far from a sexual object
Oh yeah, people "claim" a character as gay, then get FURIOUS when it's canonically declared otherwise.
Bayonetta and Nier Automata are old enough, popular enough and established enough that the same people who criticized them when they first came out are going to pretend they didn't so that they can attack the new hot girl game. Also, yes, they HAVE insulted Bayonetta and 2B before, saying how Bayonetta is made for the male gaze by the horny males, just to end up finding out, the character is made by a woman XD
Yeah I've always said that people who try to look the most righteous are usually the ones hiding some messed up stuff. Just look at a lot of the people that got exposed for being predators or creeps

Ah yeah, the people that protect drawings. I also never trust them.
Honestly why should looks be an issue, the game also has elements that make it worth buying. Great story, character development, jaw dropping twists and turns, gameplay, graphics, and overall characters you love to watch succeed and characters you love to hate to watch them fail. These complaints from these game journos and demanding cry babies should make their own games instead of leeching off of someone else's work or throwing out ridiculous demands that negatively affects those who are enjoying the games.
And will the apologize to this developer for making his wife into a game character, and calling him a pervert loser, no they wont.
in fact they will probably double down saying his wife would be prettier if she was fat, or didn't conform to male gaze, or societal standards; because that just how mindbroken they all are.
Fun fact for you the body Eve from Stellar Blade is based of the scanned into game version of a Korean supermodel
(only about 3:50 in, but have to point this out, if it was pointed out later on, then ignore this)
The Ironic thing about them saying "they have never seen a real woman" is that the stellar blade model was 3d scanned... from a real woman.
And ironically the same people call models that are taken from a real woman and edited to look uglier "real"...
The director of the game showed that Eve (Stellar blade charachter) is based on korean model Shin Jae Un … so yeha maybe is the guy who wrote the article that need to stop writing and go outside to see more real women
And the main reason why they exaggerated her features and made her face from scratch is because the devs probably didn't want to pay her more than they had to.
Ah yes, going outside instead of looking at fake booty made of polygons.
@@lordsinister707 What would you claim is exaggerated? if anything Shin Jae Un looks more stacked than Eve, possibly because of posing/bras
@Yattayatta Eve looks a bit taller. She definitely looks younger which is no offense to the model. And from what I can tell they made her a bit more baby-faced
From what I see they mainly did whatever they could to make sure they wouldn't have to keep paying her
@@lordsinister707 Her face was made completely in house by the studio, only the body was 3D scanned.
I absolute love your take on this and your laughter is contagious. You made my day after a hard day at work.
As a straight woman, I love seeing beautiful women on games & Anime, love the outfits.
I never trust guys that have strange complaints like this about fictional women because sometimes it turns out they’re a hypocrite at best (and what I hope for the most over the other scenario) or at worst (and this is the one I always pray is not the case), it turns out they were a creep.
Yeah, with women you can at least understand it as being insecure or jealous, with guys is a red flag
Meanwhile every female MMO player: Here is my two characters. My Ideal man. And me.... as a prawn star.
I believe the article is from IGN France, heard they edited the last sentence in the article to "a doll sexualized by someone you would think has never seen a woman", saying they received death threats over the article and that the article was wrongly translated. Read the article from Bounding into Comics and a good number of RUclipsrs I watch have covered the topic as well.
It's crazy where things have gone, being attractive is now frowned upon.😮💨
First they were bashing Bayonetta and 2B for being too sexualized, and now they are praising them and bashing Eve for the same thing? Plus look at the director’s wife, who is also working on this game, she kind of looks like Eve.
Just wait a few years and they will be praising Eve
@@rodrigobogado8756 I would not be surprised.
Yo this video was amazing bro! Keep up they great stuff Alt!
This is so refreshing. Thank you for this.
From what I’ve heard from other videos, the article is real, but the content was changed. IGN is claiming the infamous version was a result of “mistranslations”, allegedly.
Nah, asmongolds video had a French chatter that said it was real (only know cause asmon acknowledged the guy). But then it's just one guy..... son idk
This is why professional journalists (and maybe big content creators too) should be prohibited to edit their content by law unless they let an accesible public backup
Yes, it is real. It was published from IGN France. The true irony, is Eve's body was a 1:1 scan of a real woman model, and her face was designed by the studio's lead's wife.
I'm not so sure about that anymore.
In Melonie Mac's video, she concludes Eve is based on the scans,
but the final result was artistically stylised. Not necessarily curvier
@@keungwan5901 From what the developer has said a couple times, the body is a 1:1 scan of the model, and they stylized her face. I mean you can look up the model, it is pretty much accurate besides the face. Actually the face, looks like his wife's. They "might have" tweaked her hips a little, and a little tweak to her ass, since they said they paid particular attention to that.
I love you Alteori. I'd even enjoy hearing you read obituaries.
0:22 The most disturbing thing on this page is mention of the Sharks game (which they lost again, 4-2, to Seattle)!
Yeah 2b had such a personality!
14:20 Secret attack unlocked: Ass Hair.
Looks like you really digged for this one, great work!
The Stellar Blade dev has his HOT WIFE working on the game! Eve is literally rendered from scanning a LIVING MODEL.
Their lies don't survive the laziest of Google searches!
XD
Alteori- did you know Microsoft announced something similar for their companies when comes to women characters in games?
To sum it up, they stated that attractive curves are bad because...gamers.
There's a lot of folks working in games that really, really hate the average customer.

The article was from IGN France and was translated from French to English. They edited the article with the slight revision of "A doll sexualized by someone who you would think has never seen a woman" also making remarks that the people mad about this article are stupid and/or used a bad translator, and then they made another edit later saying that they are now getting dead threats.
I LOVE this,
You speak my thoughts on some of these issues so perfectly. THANK you!
Edit: And you're funny af lol
I'm glad you pointed the hair. Don't get me wrong. I am a fan of winx club and anime character. Yes there are women like zombie tramp and Japanese women in horror movies that use there hair as a weapon. I can't help think she can break her neck from Bering caught on something.
To be fair it's basically the same problem with superhero capes lol
“Never seen a woman” Yeah let’s just ignore that the man who created eve has a wife that might as well be a super model herself but she also helped create many of the characters in that game including eve 💀
this is by far the MOST FUNNIEST SHIT I HAVE EVER SEEN AND HEARED IM GLAD I SUBBED TO U
I just wanna say that im so glad that im not using twitter to see the news its a billion times better to just watch great youtubers talk about said tweets
Lmao @7:28 was listen not watching but I had an image in my head of your channel avatar doing a beater motion like the dude from the Hangover 😂
The really funny thing and I haven't heard anyone bring up is that all those feminists who have a problem with this have no problem with women sax working or having onlyfuns accounts
I feel like for most western games if a women doesn't like androgynous than she is automatically sexualizing. In some way this is sexist itself because curvy and extremely femine women exist out there. It's actually far more than the androgynous ones. But in modern gaming, only yhe androgynous get representation. You can be curvy, feminie and a badass. These two things aren't opposing one another.
