I think, from the skewed feminist perspective, the difference is that a woman who sexualizes herself in the entertainment industry is choosing to put herself out there to make money and empower herself (nevermind the pressure the industry puts on women to do so), whereas a drawn, rendered or otherwise fictional woman is being created that way, as a sex object by a man, no real woman is empowering herself, and it is therefore misogyny and dangerous.
One is, in their mind, purely something a woman chooses for herself (they make similar arguments about sex work, including OnlyFans), and one is something being done by a man.
Not a good reflection of reality, but I'm guessing the logic looks something like that in their heads.

When I saw the model, I thought she was in her 20s. I was shocked to learn she was _36_ at the time of 3D modeling.
Honestly that statement has cropping up hugely in recent years especially in the anime sphere. I honestly think it's just a prejudice towards those of Asian descent at this point. It must be. You never see them complain about child actors in western films or that actual vile film of Cuties... Yea these kind of people defended that film. Like we have two common outcries in fiction. If the character is short and flat than they are a child no matter what and are just pdf bait BUT if they're tall and have massive assets than they're oversexualised. The point about women belittling other women is something I witnessed myself in highschool. Our friend group was all male and we only had one girl hang out with us. She rarely talked and her fashion was more eccentric than the rest of the girls (which made her fit well with us because we were the "weird kids").
I remember hearing girls call her names, Insult how she dressed, and called her a pick me for hanging out with us. She eventually stopped dressing how she did and stopped hanging out with us. I wonder how she's doing now.

there was a story once about a couple of women who were overweight. One of them had to lose some weight as it was a major health concerned when she started to drop some pounds. Her friends got mad at her making the situation seem like she was betraying them. No one should get mad at another person for trying to become healthier, but we should not promote unhealthy lifestyles. As there are people out there who want special accommodations to people who just want to sit around and gorge themselves on food. Like a woman who convinced her entire family that she is living a healthy lifestyle but she eats an entire weeks worth of food for breakfast.

Honestly I've never gotten those kind of novels or fanfics, but maybe because I'm a trans guy... But a story about finding love with some horrifying looking monster or eldritch monstrosity sounds hella interesting and like something I'd read just because it's different, monsters are cool imo, and I don't really do romances in general, I'd be there more for the personalilty of the characters and the character dynamic and development. Yes, I'll take recommendations if any such story exists because The Princess and the Frog is overdone imo, let the weird one stay weird, they're perfect

I wouldn't watch Hellboy 2004 for the romance side plot as it isn't the best aspect of the movie, but it's a fun film to watch just for Ron Perlman's and Doug Jones' acting.
I'm pretty sure everyone's heard of The Shape of Water, but for a basic summary with basically no spoilers, it's about a mute woman and a fish man who fall in love around (I think) the end of WWII. Both of these movie are also directed by Guillermo Del Toro and involve fish men to some extent, which I think is kinda funny (Oh and Doug Jones plays both fish men in these movies too lol)
@@digthesechild-bearinghipsb2842 dang I forgot those movies existed, idk if I've seen The Shape of Water because the only mermaid romance plots I can think of other then one of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies and The Little Mermaid was one where the mermaid was a girl the main guy fell in love with and there were evil(?) plant creatures and I think the wolf thing wanted to eat her and the plant monkeys wanted to rip the wolf thing apart for reasons. It's been a while and it kinda felt like a drug trip tbf, so it might be the same movie and one of us misremembered, but I'd love to rewatch Hellboy so I'll keep that in mind. Thanks for the recs even if they're stuff I forgot, just means I can rewatch them blind all over again ^^

I remember I got my mom into reading the One Punch Man manga, and she commented on how sexualized the women were there with amazing forms and large breasts, then I replied with asking her if she remembered how insanely muscular and bulgy the men were. She agreed and we movved on.
An important thing to note is that my mother is NOT woke in the slightest. Shes not too political but tbh shes even more unwoke than me. She and my dad are the ones who have taught me that in politics, especially between two extreme sides like ukraine-russia and palestine-israel, the best take is usually somewhere in the middle. Its easy to call one side evil and the other innocent, but usually both sides are both at fault and in the right.

It's my, perhaps faulty, understanding that a lot of the pressure that women feel to look a certain kind of way is intrasexual competition amongst women. Further, when you ask a woman why she got breast implants or why she wears heels, it's never "Because men want me to." it's always "I did this for ME. I LIKE IT." - so which is it? Are you doing it for us or you?
Most men are happy just having a woman, any woman, by their side. Obviously, appearance matters, you cannot get into a relationship or even a one night stand with someone that you don't find attractive (I tried) but there is a difference between real life and video games fantasy. I like big breasts but I never chose any of my girlfriends by this criteria. When I play a video game, however, I always select the biggest option possible when it comes to breasts. It is just fantasy, it is only fun, it is not what I expect to find in real life. I don't pressure women to get implants or belittle them for not adhering to my fantasies. While some people are very self-conscious about their looks, I don't think that attacking a video game is going to do them any good.
I have a feeling that there are some people out there that want to be ugly in both looks and personality.

It's pretty much like blaming traffic and bad drivers for why you finally snapped. It's not about the traffic! We've seen people use this on occasion, and it's SO outta bounds. I too always turned down men (or women at that) respectfully, thanking them for the flattery and they were always very kind about it, sometimes they even bought me a drink stayed for a few more words and moved on. I honestly don't get the whole ra ra ra, nor the discorse of Eve looking like a child. Have they been around Korean women? They all look young cause they take care of themselves plus genetics. And have these people been on IG or Tik Tok? Have they seen women using their bodies to get attention online? Politics - social or otherwise - ruins everything. You can't have a "fun" video game anymore unless it fits an accepted narrative, or either it's so milquetoast because studios fear offending the vocal minority that it isn't even fun to begin with.

Omg nooooooo. 😫 I tend to be descriptive but I did not mean it that way then again I used to call her fluffy and she loved that because I would always .... Ok I can't say all of what we used to do because it probably sounds inappropriate but I SWEAR we had that close relationship that it didn't matter and she gave consent.

Tell it like it is, Alteori, tell it like it is. I always enjoy listening and watching your videos. Stellar Blades. Watching a few gameplays of it on this video and past ones too, still giving me some Final Fantasy vibes. Looks interesting but need a PS5 to play it. I don't know why this game is getting some issues because of what the main character's apperences is. It's just a video game.
Anyway, another great video, Alteori, I like it, see you in the next one.
Let me be honest. I played the demo and will buy the game. It is a good game (so far) and the mechanics of the parry and dodge are top tier.
With that said..It is nice to occasionally view some of the animations and poses (example: the poses she strikes when she traverses down a ladder...that is sexy, no lie) as it allows someone to take a moment to appreciate the beautiful feminine form.
And with that said, I do not feel aroused nor have lost control of my "urges" while appreciating the character design (and by extension, the person that was the real-life model of the character)
For another Horse Game, I recommend "Shadow of the Colossus". I think you'll undoubtedly love all the creatures you'll find and love riding Agro (the Horse).
